CHAPTER 1

"Are you sending me a minor--" he paused as he inspected the woman who was standing in front of his desk, checking her from head to toe. "Do you have any idea of how ty she looks? She's wearing her great great grandmother's dress to work with me, are you kidding me?" He talked through the phone, ignoring how Dara opened her eyes wide when she heard what he said about her.

"It's my mo-" Dara stopped when he lifted a finger to ask her to be quiet.

It's her mother's best dress though, and he just said that she looks too odd to work for him. Also, a minor?! Dara felt like walking out of the room as soon as possible so she could scream about how ty he was. She's clutching to the sides of her dress, trying not to yell at the super fine guy that's biting his lip while looking at her.

This is it, she thought.

He finally put his phone down, and then continued what he was doing, did some work, read the paperwork, while Dara was still standing there, waiting for him to talk to her.

She finally opened , "So I guess, that's a no." She said hesitantly before turning her back and walking slowly to the door, but she stopped before she reached the door, and then turned back to look at him straight and sharp, the speed and firm steps she made, caused him to look back to her. "And you know what, first, I'm not even a minor, I'm a ing 25-year old WOMAN. Second, it's my mother's dress! Her best dress! And the lastly, you don't have the right to judge how ty I look when you're the tiest person that I have ever met." She's chuckled coldly while she looked at him very closely.

His eyes stared at hers as she's on fire, and somehow he felt an unfamiliar feeling in his chest. Her eyes were brown, and they look more beautiful when she stared at him like that, when she's upset. He put the pen that he is holding down over the paper and he got up from the seat, just to look closer to her. Unexpectedly, he showed a soft smile as he looked at her again.

"Sandara Park, right?" Dara gulped when she heard him calling her name.

, did I just add some problem in my life with this guy?!

******

[Flashback]

"Give me three more weeks! I promise! I promise I will pay all- everything that I borrowed from you." She winced as she stood on her tiptoes, following the tall guy's hand movement. She wished her hair would stay strong as it was pulled harder by the debt collector.

"Why should I trust you? You're a smart liar." He pulled the hair even more, and it made her scream in pain, but no tears appeared in her eyes. No, she's not the kind of woman who cries just because someone pulled her hair roughly.

"Ay sir, it's the last time, you know you can trust me. Now, please let go of me!" She chuckled when the debt collector released her hair from his tight grip. She smiled her beautiful smile while patting his shoulder. "I will get some money, lots of money, so you don't need to worry, okay?" She then turned her body, picked up her guitar case as it's the only precious thing she has. She carried it against her small body as she dashed away from the debt collector.

She sighed, but her lips still curved up to show that sweet smile of hers. Although she was facing a rough life at such a young age, Sandara always managed to always think positively. She tried every kind of work in Seoul, but everything that she did just seemed useless, as she still could not manage to pay back all of her debts.

"I will kick you out of your place if you don't pay me back in two weeks." Sandara stopped in her steps and looked straight as the smile faded from her face when the debt collector mentioned the place she'd been staying at. It was her father's house, the only thing he left for her, beside all that money he borrowed from the debt collector. "Two weeks, Sandara Park." He repeated.

Her eyes started to get teary, but she took a deep breath before turning her gaze to the tall guy and bowed towards him. "I'll try my best to get the money."

[Sandara POV]

The shoelaces hadn't ever been attractive, I kept gazing down and staring at the white shoe laces that looked more brown than white untied. I didn't want to live this way. No one would choose this kind of life. Debt collectors were always running after me, trying to take all of the money that I had. For me, only I could save myself from this problem. I at managing my own life, I don't have special talents, I don't have enough money, I don't have a rich family who can support me. I'm living on my own with no money and some crazy debt collector was trying to take everything that I have, although I almost didn't have anything! But I promised I would never let this house go. This is my place. The only place that I have. The place full of all my memories. I would never give up on this. I would do anything...

Bom caressed my temples that were bruised dark blue. I just smiled and put my hand over hers. The look on her face told me that she wanted to help me, but we both knew there was nothing that we could do. "Does it hurt?" She touched it gently. "I will burn his body and make it look like an accident! Seriously!!" She said loudly, I moved closer to cover her loud mouth and I looked around, just trying to act as normal as I could. How can she say that out loud in my workplace?

"You know they're just doing their job, and I understand that." I shrugged after pushing her down to sit on the chair behind her. I bit my lower lip as I hesitated on whether or not I should ask her something. I looked around first to make sure that my manager was not paying attention towards me. I pulled out the chair in front of her, took a seat, and put the tray right on the table. "Can you do me a favor?"

She blinked confusedly while leaning closer and put some strand(?) hair behind her ears. "Of course dear, I would do anything for you." I smiled widely when she said that to me. I've been friends with her since we were very young. We grew up in the same neighborhood. I know what Bommie was and is doing for a living. Just like her for sure also knew what I was doing for a living. We both had rough lives.

"Can you please bring me to your place?" She blinked again when she heard that I answered her with more questions.

"Of course. You can sleep over anytime you want Sandara--" She said, still clueless with what I asked her.

I shook my head, while leaning closer to her. "I want to do the same thing, like you do for a living, at least once. Then after I get enough money to pay back the debt, I'll stop." Her eyes widened when I told her that. She chuckled, irritated while looking around the cafe.

"Bom, please." I asked her while pulling her hands together with mine. I've been begging for a chance that Bom wouldn't give to me. Sometimes, she's too protective as a friend. She doesn't know this is my last chance. "It's only once. So I can pay back all the debts."

She rolled her eyes and started to take out her cigarette without looking back at me. Bom and her cigarettes cannot be separated. "No." She answered shortly as she prepared to leave, seeing how she started to collect her stuff from the table. I quickly grabbed the cigar box in front of me just to see Bom roll her eyes in irritation at me.

Bom moved a little, showing her smooth skin. She’s swinging her feet a little while some guy at the table next to us started to gulp while scanning her leg. I swear, she's a wonderful, pretty, nice, and lovely woman despite the job she chose. And that would be my job as well after I got this deal.

"You just need to teach me. I am a fast learner, you know that, sweetie." I'm hopeless, but my voice still sounded like a kid begging for a candy. I will do anything to fix my life, I just need some money to start living this life again, and properly.

She sighed while looking at me. "No, you're not. Why don't you just sing with your guitar on the sidewalk as usual, Sandara? You also still have your work as a waitress, and don't forget about the driving job as well. You still have so many jobs you can do. NOT THIS ONE. Stop asking me to do that." She raised her voice a little bit while I just pouted. We all knew that busking, and all the jobs I had were not enough for me, I got beat up by the debt collector last time and now she's asking me to busk again. NO WAY. I'm trying my best to look pitiful, please pity me, Park Bom. I need it so bad. "You still have so many options, make that stupid option the last thing you would do. You don't know this kind of world, Dara." She put her palm on my cheek while her eyes almost tear up. Oh no don't cry, sweetie. "Take my money, pay all your debts, and you go live your life."

I shook my head quickly, as it's not what I want, Bom's mother is sick and she needs that money. "I beg of you, Bommie. I need this. I want to do this. It's my last chance. My last option. I don't have another one."

Bom leaned closer and looked at me, right into my eyes, "It's not your last option. Don't give up on yourself. Where's my positive-thinking-Sandara??" She looked more serious than before.

"Don't look at me like that Park Bom, this is really my last chance..." I said with a low voice, I took off my apron that was still hanging around my neck since I was still at work in the cafe.

She looked defeated as I heard her sigh and flipped her hair back gently to show her bare shoulder to the guy who was still 'watching' Park Bom as he's already undressing her with his gaze. "Stop it, Sandara. Don't ruin your life." She warned me while standing up straight, after she successfully grabbed the cig box from my hand.

"If I don't do it I might lose my house, you know how much that means to me, Park Bom-ssi." I said, firmly gripping my apron. Bom froze for a few seconds before shifting her gaze back to me,

it softened as she finally pitied me. I looked back at her.

I realized someone was standing right next to me, his forearms folded, while looking down at me--glaring down at me to be exact. "Sandara Park-ssi, we're not paying you so you can sit around and have chit-chat with customers, you know that right?" He said with his big, heavy voice. Oh he's a big pain in the , can he leave me alone until I make finish the deal that I asked Bom for?!

"Bom, please..." I stood up quickly while the cafe's manager stayed right next to me. I put on the apron again.

"I'll meet you at your place later." She finally agreed with a nod as she quickly walked out after signaling to the guy from the other table to follow her. The guy automatically stood up and walked out, going the direction where Bom had disappeared from my sight.

Did she just agree with what I asked her?

******

She threw many little boxes onto my bed as soon as she opened the door to my room. boxes. Bom glared at me, still thinking that it wasn't a good idea that I wanted to get out and look for some thirsty guys. She crossed her forearms over her bobs while still staring at me as I froze, an English book in my hand. I glanced at the boxes, then back to her.

"Safety comes first." She said while throwing herself next to the boxes. I put the book on the table next to the bed before getting the box and reading the instructions on the back of the it. "I will help you Dara... but on one condition." She's laying next to me, now over the boxes like they have been friends with her longer than me. Yes, I'm still talking about boxes.

I smiled and looked straight at her. "Thank you Bommie. Thanks for helping me. And what is it?"

"I'll pick the guy. Before I say yes, you can never sleep with him. I'll look for the right one."

I frowned at her, "It’s not like I am going to marry him right? Why with the right one?" I complained.

She got up and her face told me how she found my comment about the condition disagreeable. "Sandara Park! It's your in' first time. Don't be silly. I won't let you fall for the wrong guy. At least make it special for yourself." Bom was right after all. It's my first time. Yeah, I gave up on my ity just like this so someone would pay off all my debts.

I didn't respond at first, then I was back to picking up the boxes at my bed. "Okay, I can agree with that. As long as you can get 'the right one' soon, I cannot wait longer Bommie." I chuckled and put all of the boxes into my bag.

"Whoaa, be patient. I'll try my best to get the right guy for you. SO don't worry... for the first, let's go. We have to look at some documentary." Bom got a laptop onto her lap, and I just moved lazily towards her, then suddenly loud wincing, gasping, and moans came out from the laptop's speaker. I jumped off a little when I glanced towards the screen. Bom turned her gaze to me, who looked like someone trying to escape from the sight on the laptop screen.

"Seriously, Sandara Park?"

Okay, I was just really surprised to see everything all of a sudden, why that? Why? Why there? Why all of a sudden forcing me to watch ?! "O-oh... sorry. I was surprised that- that you suddenly played that. You should have warned me first, shouldn't you?" I stuttered while trying to look at the screen but my brain just could not connect. Should I do this?

He stood by his desk, looking where all the piles of paperwork were stacking up. Five of his employees stood close to the door, almost as if they were ready if this guy suddenly exploded so they could easily get out of the office. Every move that their boss made had them bathed in sweat.

He finally turned his body towards them to look straight at them. His temper wasn't good, it was pretty bad actually. He clenched his jaw tightly while scanning his employees one by one. He ended up only sighing since it was not the first time they had pissed him off. Actually, everything was pissing him off easily.

He raised his hand and pointed to the desk in front of him. "You know that's my desk, right?" He said with a heavy breath as he tried to control his anger towards them. "Throw all of those papers out." He said with a low voice, but they still stood frozen in their places. They were sure confused at what they should be doing because all of the paperwork on the desk was important. At the same time they didn't want to go against his orders. "THROW OUT ALL THE PAPER, aishhh!!" He yelled loudly while pointing to the desk.

They moved fast to get the papers off while he moved away and out of the office room. He hates it when something was not right at his work place, when something didn't work out like he wanted it to. He lost a business agreement that morning and the whole office was being his target for the tantrum he was throwing. He looked out the window in his office. He was in deep thought, how he hates being a failure, how he hates it when people bring him down, he hates losing, he hates it when people betray him. All he wanted was perfection, perfect work, and a perfect life.

His phone rang once, signaling an incoming text.

Still in Japan for 2 weeks. Miss you, Jiyong.

He chuckled when reading the text.

Stephanie. They had met at some party in L.A. She's Korean as well, just like him. They had been together for some months, but they only met a few times a month. Since Jiyong was always busy with his work and with being abroad for quite a while, they found it difficult to meet for long periods of time. Sure, he chose work over love. He was not the kind of person who fell in love deeply with someone, he didn't even put faith on love, or on people.

He's about to type a reply to his fiance, when someone hurriedly walked towards him. "Sir."

"Hm?" He turned his head to him, Kiyong, his assistant who looked neat with his hair cut short, to show his little ears. "Yeah, Kiyong?"

"I just got the report. Miss Stephanie just arrived in Jeju this morning." He said.

That made him chuckle even more and put his phone into his pocket. He knew something was happening behind his back, he found Stephanie was acting quite odd since their last meeting. Once he found out that she was using lots of his money, she explained she needed it to pay hospital bills, but it kept happening until last week.

"Tell Seungri I need to meet him, Kiyong."

'Meet me at the bus stop near the cafe you work at, dear. Dress up, you got to do this. Bomx' That was the note Bom had told a Dara's waitress friend to give to her. Even though Dara was a bit nervous about that night, she's trying to keep her her thoughts in check. She's even trying to control her breathing. She checked the watch around her wrist and looked around to find her long-legged friend running a little towards her. She smiled nervously but then her lips tugged out higher into a smirk at how Bom was walking towards her. Her s bobbed up and down and it made her laugh.

"Why were you taking so long?" Dara showed her pout, but then smiled at her.

"Stop being so on-time, could you please?" Bom patted her shoulder, then her eyes became fixated on the dress that Dara was wearing. "Are you kidding me?" She laughed while pulling the fabric. "I should have talked about this too... Blame me, I forgot to teach you about how you should dress." She shrugged.

"Ah--Why? It looks y though. Pretty y too." Dara was bending backwards to show her cleavage in a joking matter to Bom.

Dara put on the best dress that she had, and she argued with herself on whether or not she should have worn her mother's dress. She loved watching her mother's dancing with the dress she was wearing. It was a dark blue dress with a deep v neck that showed her smooth chest, and puffy old-fashioned sleeves. At first she felt bad that she had chosen to wear that dress for the first day of her 'new job', but she had no other choice.

Bom touched every part of the dress, she thought it wasn’t the worst thing she had ever seen, and then ended her inspection with an awkward chuckle as she fixed whatever she had moved back into place. "Seems like we also don't have time to change."

"It's not that bad. I'm good with this!"

"Honestly, you look like some roleplay teacher from my movie collection, Dara." Dara laughed and rolled her eyes at Bom.

"So I have made it then." Dara's response made Bom laugh a little. Dara cleared to stop from laughing when she remembered why she was there with Bom. "How about my first client? What should I do for him? Do you know him?"

Bom fixed Dara's hair while looking straight into her eyes. "I haven't met him personally, but I already warmed the man who told me the offer to take care of you, we even made an agreement that if I find a bruise on you, I will do something about it. So you don't need to worry."

Dara's smile stayed on her face as she started to get teary-eyed.

"Okay... thank you Bom for everything you do for me. I'll try to tell you about it later. I hope I can go back tomorrow early so I can catch up with my other jobs."

Bom's gaze was glued onto something else as Dara spoke to her. The car that stopped at the bus stop was jaw dropping. Slowly, Dara turned back to see what Bom was focused on.

"I know right? I hope we can buy that kind of car after we pay off all our debts." Dara said while watching the car stop in front of them. She was looking at the Rolls Royce Ghost Series II that just came out in Korea a few weeks ago. They grasped each other's hands while watching the car which was bright in color, showing how much care the owner put into it. Dara and Bom could even see their reflection clearly through the glass of the window.

"Park Bom-ssi?" A guy suddenly appeared behind them, they hadn't noticed when or from where he had gotten out of the car.

Park Bom pulled Dara to stand next to her straight, just like troops in training, their bodies stiff while looking at the tall guy who looked neat and polite.

"Yes," Bom answered awkwardly, as she looked at him with a grin. "I'm Park Bom." She couldn't help but stare at his muscles that showed through the transparent shirt he wore.

He bowed to them, his thin lips curved to show a genuine smile. "Hello, Park Bom-ssi. I'm Jang Kiyong. Mr. Kwon, the friend of Mr. Lee asked me to pick up the order."

Bom curled the tip of her hair around her finger a little while smiling to Kiyong and nodded. "Right, Mr. Lee took the order. So here she is." Park Bom pushed Dara so she would step forward.

"Hello, Jang Kiyong-ssi. I'm San-" Dara looked at Bom first before continuing what she wanted to say. "Sandara." She smiled and bowed to Kiyong.

Bom smiled weakly as she heard how Dara was trying to have some confidence in herself. "Yes, she's the order for Mr. Lee, please treat her well.” Kiyong didn't answer, but just bowed to them and walked backwards to reach the car door. He opened it so Dara could get inside.

Dara gave a tight hug to Bom and both hugged tightly, as if they wouldn't meet again.

"Let's meet later, tell me about everything."

Dara nodded and waved her hands before getting into the car. She looked inside it, and it smelled like lemon air freshener, mixed with strong cologne. The seats were covered with leather and she touched the edge of the seat just to feel it. She leaned back after she was satisfied with touching the leather. She tried to make herself feel comfortable before any more tension settled.

She looked at the front seat. Jang Kiyong got into the car but it wasn't him who was driving it. It was another guy who was covered in thick muscles, Dara observed everything between them to start learning who she was going to meet. He must be someone who was rich, important, and fat, and old. She sighed when the thought came into her mind. "Can you please tell me, Kiyong-ssi?"

"About what, Miss?" He politely answered Dara with another question.

She smiled as it felt good to have someone treat her nicely. "About the kind of guy you are working with?"

Jang Kiyong's eyes looked at her through the mirror as she stared back at him through it. "He's a very nice guy, Miss." His voice was deep and heavy. Dara smiled and nodded towards him.

******

[Dara's POV]

The tall guy named Kiyong kept looking straight, he just let me follow him as I arrived at a very tall building with a good view. It was right next to the best sights in the world, the Han River, which was a good place to stay. I looked around in every hall we passed as we headed to 'MR. KWON''s room. I have no idea who this guy is, but I couldn't help but pray he wasn't fat and ugly so I could do my work well.

We entered the elevator and it was only Kiyong and me inside of it. We stood in silence while just looking at the elevator walls. It looked fancier than anything I had seen before. I touched the elevator's mirror wall, observing my own face through the reflection. I smiled to myself. "You can do this Dara-ya." I whispered, then Kiyong turned his head towards me.

"Sorry?" He asked, thinking I had spoken to him. Why couldn't this fancy elevator go up any faster? I quickly pulled my head back to its place as Kiyong kept staring at me.

I shook my head. "Nothing."

He smiled at me and nodded before moving to look forward again. The elevator door opened. My heart felt like it was about to jump out of its place. I inhaled deeply before walking out of the elevator. It will be a normal guy, you don't need to worry Sandara. You can go through all of this, it will end tomorrow. You can continue your life, you can pay off all your debts after tonight.

"Wait here, Miss." He told me and I stood right behind him, nodding. Then Kiyong asked something to a girl who had a curvier body than Bommie, I guessed she was his secretary.

1 minute passed. I looked at the digital watch around my wrist.

2 minutes...

5 minutes...

I checked my wrist again and 15 minutes had already passed. Kiyong then walked to a huge door that I was sure I would end up walking through as well. I quickly followed him after being signaled.

"Kwon Jiyong-ssi, I'm with her." He said before I entered the office room. I hesitantly walked into the room. It seemed wider than my whole house. I slowly walked in and looked at the guy who sat at the desk, not really on it actually, more like leaning his against the surface.

Fortunately, he wasn’t some old and fat ahjussi that I had been imagining. He had a style similar to Kiyong's but I could recognize how more fancy the suits that he wore were. I saw how his shoes were black and shiny like he had cleaned it before I had walked into the room.

He was holding a paper in his hand, he didn't really pay attention to me as I walked in. I just stood there, five steps in front of him. Kiyong had already left, so it was just him and me in the room. I cleared my throat to get his attention, but he was still reading the paper.

He put the paper down as his attention was on me, he looked straight at me, right into my eyes and it made me feel so awkward. Is it me being sensitive, or was this guy just looking at me too intensely? Okay, does this mean we're going to do it in this room? I gulped.

I looked around the office room, just to make sure there were no cameras around, and there it was. One at the corner of the room and possibly a few others in hidden places.

"So...?" I asked while trying to look away from his deep gaze. It was kinda creepy.

"Hold on." He raised his hand while trying to grab the phone on the table.

He scanned my outfit, from my shoes to the top, then back to my face as he held the phone to call someone. I recognized the frown on his face, and it made me frown as well. Please say something I understand.

"Are you sending me a minor---" I gasped, my jaw dropped when I heard what he was saying over the phone. No manners. No manners, this guy! "You have no idea how ty she looks, she's wearing her great great grandmother's dress to work with me, are you kidding me?" I was ready to kill him right where he was standing.

"It's my mo-" I stopped when he lifted a finger to tell me to stop talking. You -head, who are you to hush me like that?!

It was my mother's best dress though, and he just said that I looked like what? ? Also, a minor?! I pressed my feet in my shoes while I hold back all the anger inside of me. I felt like I was going to explode anytime soon if I stayed longer in the hot room. I have to have with that guy? This was crap.

He finally put his phone down, then continued what he was doing, did some work, read paperwork with me still standing in front of him. If he didn't have a lot of money, I wouldn't be willing to stand there like some stupid girl. "So, I guess that's a no." I said to him hesitantly before turning my back and walking slowly to the door, but I stopped before I reached it, then turned back to look straight and sharp at him. The speed of my firm steps made him look back at me, right in the eye. It made my heart beat fast. Don't be a weak woman Sandara. "And you know what, first I'm not even a minor, I'm a ing 25 year-old WOMAN. Second, this is my mother's dress! Her best dress, and lastly, you don't have the right to judge how ty I look when you are the tiest person I have ever met." I ended it with a chuckle as I put my arms over my chest, crossing them.

I stood really close to him while I was on fire, and it somehow felt differed from standing five steps away and now we're just a few inches away from one another. He seemed calm and looked even deeper into my eyes. I could feel my insides screaming as if they were on fire as well, not in a bad way, but just warm. I have to make this work, this isn't love, control yourself, myself! He had really sharp yet pure eyes, it was lovely.

"Sandara Park, right?" He said, I was kinda surprised since I hadn't told him my name before. He already knew it.

, did I just add a problem to my life by being involved with this guy? I nearly choked while trying to gulp the saliva in my mouth. He's gonna sue me, somehow I could feel it.

"I can't pay you with Korean Won, is it okay for me to pay you with Dollars? $500 for one day."

"W-what?" I said to him, and I was about to say something but he cut me off right away. "So you will use me for night and day too?" I was a bit startled, isn't that too much for a newbie like me? I'm just a , can't we make it slower? "I-I have work during the day, can't we just do it at night and still have the same price?" my voice became calmer than before. He didn't have a ty face though, now I see him clearly I can tell he has a really charming face, more handsome to be exact.

"You know, I don't even mind with the money I'll spend on you, but you have to be serious in doing what I ask you to do, you're a bit more pricey than other women, so." He waved his hand and asked me to take a step back so he could move from the desk. I did what he asked me to do. "Don’t forget, get rid of that dress." He said. "Wait for me in the penthouse. Kiyong will guide you there."

I did, I was about to leave before he stopped me with his words. "Oh. Anyways, you can call me Kwon Jiyong, Sandara." I didn't even turn towards him. I just stood frozen by the door.

Sandara. It's a simple name, everyone calls me by that name, but it felt different when this head calls me. Sandara...

CHAPTER 2

The very gentlemanly Jang Kiyong sent me to a penthouse. The place was on the highest floor of the same building as the office of where I had met my first client, Kwon Jiyong. I still wondered whether I had met a very generous guy or a head that only does whatever he wants to make easy money. I walked around the main room of the penthouse and there was nothing but fancy stuff, golf bags with some sticks in them, a piano, a huge TV screen (that is even taller than Kwon Jiyong himself), and some games connected to the TV. I was curious if the guy even had time to play those kinds of games, was he like a prince that was trapped in his own palace?

I turned to look at a mirror right at the corner of the main room. The reflection that looked back at me had a skinny body, white skin, and I tried to smile to it. Sandara, you can do this, right? Why has this question started to reappear often as of late? Right behind me I saw there was a huge picture of Kwon Jiyong. He looked like a really fine-looking man with that smirk. I wished I could see his smile often… he was kind of creepy when he stared at my eyes while his lips like before. It looked like he was going to eat me whole at once. The dress. Didn't he say I looked like ? Why did he still want me?

I sighed when I opened the bag I brought earlier. Bom is truly my savior. She had slipped a maroon nightwear that was my style into it. It wasn't transparent but it looked so perfect. I better put it on since the guy seemed to have a different preference of style from mine.

Where's the bathroom? I was roaming around the center of the room while opening the doors one by one. Every room had really bright lights with white walls, clean and bright. I ended up walking into a room with lots of pictures, Kwon Jiyong's pictures of course. I saw him smiling cheerfully but I didn't forgot that the little boy in the pictures was the same guy who said I looked like in his office. He stood in the photo with some sort of mother figure. She was beautiful and there was a lot of feeling behind her smile. I could see sadness and happiness at the same time. I wished it was just a gut feeling. Despite his assness, I wished I could see a bright smile. I wished he would do it at least once, share his genuine smile. No way. I shook my head to shoo the thoughts away.

I blinked when I had realized I’d been drowned in the room longer than I was supposed to. I walked out in a fast pace and found the bathroom. It was kind of making me curious who actually who made this house so neat, I don't see anyone around though. He must have so many maids to clean up his rooms. Who cares though? I'm here just for a day or days maybe. After I walk out of this house I will forget everything that I've seen in this house. At last I slowly pushed the door open slowly and peeked inside, it's a bathroom. The normal bathroom. Fortunately, I didn't have to go through other doors. I sniffed and damn, it's my fragrance along with some sun smell and I smelled with these both the rest of the day. Yet, this guy still wanted me. Screw myself. Bathing was the second savior of me today. I grabbed the clean towel inside the bathroom and got myself washing, cleaning, washing my hair and everything. I hope this guy would be satisfied by this. I ended up putting on the lingerie that look matched with my pale skin and dark brown hair. Although that guy would not be satisfied but I do, I had come this far. Oh, you have no idea how proud I am.

It took 30 minutes for me to get fresh like all fresh fruits picked from a tree. I smelled myself while I was walking out from the bathroom. As I walked out from the bathroom, I saw the white couch was like calling me to sit there as I saw the guitar on it as well. A smile cannot be hidden from my lips when I saw a guitar lying on the couch, it seemed like he just played it a while ago. I sat there next to the guitar, thinking whether I could play with the guitar for a minute or few. My hands slowly touch the guitar, then after I made sure no one was coming, I grabbed it softly and put it on my lap, and started to play the guitar while humming a random song. Out of the blue, I thinking about We Could Be In Love then I chose to sing that song softly. I made sure my voice was not that loud so only I could hear it.

Be still my heart

Lately its mind is all its own

It would go far and wide

Just to be near you

Even the stars, shining up bright

I've noticed when you're close to me

Still it remains a mystery.

She was still lying on the couch after she played with his guitar on his couch. The guitar was still in her arms while she fell asleep soundly. The elevator was opened, then a guy in his suit walked in while having a conversation through his phone. He stopped in his steps when he noticed there's a woman sat asleep while holding his guitar. She’s also wearing the maroon lingerie. Her thigh skin was revealing too much, he thought.

"Call you back, later." He said before he ended the line, and slipped the phone inside his suit before he turned his gaze to the corner of the room where was the surveillance camera placed. He tilted his head as he thought what he should do with that. He finally dragged a stool and placed it right under the surveillance camera. He carefully placed himself under the camera and then covered it with a small napkin. "It's good now." He murmured to himself before climbing back down from the chair.

He was now standing right in front of the woman who fell asleep while holding the guitar. "Sandara Park... Who are you?" He talked to himself. At the end, he pressed his lips together.

His gaze was travelling which they at first, only to stare at the beautiful face that kind of sleeping soundly. His gaze was going to the guitar that she was holding like a pro. "Baby..." she was saying in her sleep," Baby..." Once again, she said while holding the guitar closely. That made Jiyong cover his mouth, trying not to wake her with his chuckles since he enjoyed watching this beautiful lady sleep talk like that. "I'm sorry." She continued with her sleep talking. "Let’s work harder..." She said that made Jiyong silent as he kept looking at her.

******

The sun was sneaking in, as Dara's eyes started to peek a little. She realized that she had been sleeping on the couch for a few hours, and it's morning already. She jumped off from the couch, and even forgot that there was a guitar on her lap. As soon as she got up, the guitar landed on her toes.

"Aw!" she jumped around the carpet as she tried to holding the toes. "Crap!!" She whined while trying to sit back to sit again on the couch again. She mumbled about how painful that heavy guitar which just landed on her toes. Some women were helping her as they were also surprised by the scream. They helped Dara to back to sit down, while at the dining table that connected to the main room, a guy was just watching her calmly while sipping his warm coffee.

"Get her ice cubes. I'll be going now." He said to the older woman who had been working for him for years, one of the maids.

He was bowing slightly to the maid. Despite all the things he has and his level is a lot higher level than her, but he always gave respect to the maid who was older than him. Jiyong grabbed his suit and pulled it up as he was ready to go to the office again.

Dara finally realized he was already there since then, while she fell asleep last night. Her eyes were wide open while she kept bowing to him, she even forgot about how much her toes hurt. "I'm sorry..." She bowed to him as he walked past her and got inside the elevator that was ready to get down with Kiyong in it as well. Before the elevator closed, a little, skinny hand slipped between the elevator doors. Her hands were holding it so it won't get closed. Jiyong’s eyes followed the gap of the doors which started to opened slowly, the woman appearing in front of the door in her maroon lingerie. Jiyong parted his lips slightly, while watching Dara standing holding the door.

"Kiyong." Jiyong said, trying to sound calm then Kiyong just turning himself, snuggled up to the corner wall of the elevator. He knew that Jiyong meant 'don't see what I am seeing right now.' "I mean get out." He explained when Jiyong was pulling Dara's arm to get inside the elevator, while he's pushing Kiyong out. He let the elevator closed. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Jiyong said calmly with his hands on hips.

While blinking her eyes, Dara's pointing to herself. "Me? I-I tried to apologize to you, Kwon Jiyong-ssi." She said while bowing 90 degrees in front of him.

"No. I meant what are you doing in that lingerie?! Do you think you can walk around wearing that?" Jiyong moved fast to take his suit off, the one he's wearing and put it over her shoulder.

"Why can't I?" Dara cluelessly asked back while shrugging a little.

"Are you trying to seduce me?!" He asked again while angrily looking at her. She nodded innocently while scratching her head lightly.

"I was supposed to, but I don't think it's working..." She answered while giving an awkward smile to Jiyong who seem already pissed off. Then He was scanning her legs as she walked out of the penthouse with bare feet.

"Okay Sandara, let's talk. We need to talk and make it clear." He was pressing the elevator button, as the bell of the elevator was ringing. He stepped out from the elevator. Kiyong still stood at there. He was kind of surprised when he saw the suit that Jiyong wore before, now on Dara's shoulders.

"Cancel the meeting this morning." And that made him even surprised as he only bent his back as a yes. "And... Sandara." She, who's following him behind, stopped when Jiyong suddenly turned his back and faced her. "Wash your feet before entering my room."

"Eh?"

Dara was running to the bathroom first before going to the Jiyong's room after a maid told her where she had to head to. All of them were staring confusedly, including Jiyong's assistant who still stood there, trying to reach his secretary to tell her the meeting has to be canceled.

"She looked better than Stephanie quack quack, isn't she?" The young maid commented while folding the blanket that Sandara was using while she slept, although she didn't even notice it. "Although Mr. Kwon seemed pissed off, but I can tell he had a good night, he didn't start the day with a yell."

The other maid was picking up the guitar while she's looking at the other maids, "She even touched his stuff."

******

She knocked at the door before peeking her head behind the door, while Jiyong grabbed the new suit in the closet room that connected to the room. She tiptoed, trying to not make a sound from every step she made. Her eyes were roaming around the room as she missed this room the day before. It was the main room with a very large window that the sun could brightly shoot any human who’s still sleeping in the day. Not very recommended for a lazy person. There was also the grand king bed size inside the room. Dara was tiptoeing to get near the bed so she could touch the mattress, but before she did, he already turned and headed back to the room. She quickly pulled her hand back.

"Did you even slept?" She was opening as her eyes were still on the bed then back to Jiyong.

He still fixed his tie. "I did." Dara was looking at him who was fixing the tie to left and right. Without hesitation, Dara took a step forward towards him. She stood in front of him just to fix his tie. Jiyong’s body stiffened while looking at her who tried to help him. Her eyes focused on the tie while he still froze at his position.

"Done." She said while pulling her hands away like nothing happened. "So- what do we need to talk about?" Jiyong awkwardly tilted his head aside while trying to get his mind back together. "Kwon Jiyong-ssi." The voice made him look back at her again.

"Yes?"

"What should we talk about...? I-I am really sorry about last night, I didn’t even know why I fell asleep like that. I was playing with your gui-"

Jiyong lifted his hand up as he want her to stop talking, he acted same as he did in his office room yesterday. "Let me talk first, I don't have much time, you know what? I just canceled my three million dollar meeting with an investor just to talk to you, so you better listen. Don’t cut me off, and I won't repeat it again." The temper now all gone, there was only a depressed Jiyong and the clueless woman, Sandara Park, who just gave him a nod.

"I, Kwon Jiyong, am going to pay you to be my fake girlfriend. No , seduction or anything like that involve. Got it?" He explained to her as her cheek bone rose. They were turning to blushed pink while she smiled and nodded eagerly. It sounded good and that made her feel relieved. "I told you I'm going to pay you $500 every each day and I will give you some course either that's English course, table manners, or else but you MUST learn it well. I don't pay you to play around. Do you get it?" Jiyong’s eyes back to stared back at Dara's eyes. He's back drowning in the gaze of the brown eyes that innocently looked back to him.

“Hm, Okay! Deal.” Sandara was smiling since she couldn’t hide the relieved feeling after Jiyong said there's no involved. "Thank you." Dara muttered.

"I haven't even paid you, Sandara Park-ssi." Jiyong his lips as it's actually a habit of him.

"Thanks for saving my life." She said.

"Stop. I said don't cut me off while I'm talking." He said made Dara nodding. "You have to obey what I tell you, it's not easy thing to do. I don't want her or anyone to find out that you're my fake girlfriend."

"Her?"

"Soon to be my ex."

The way she was gazing changed as she felt bad for her, his girlfriend, that he had to do this towards his girlfriend, he must really, really be a jerk or something worse. Dara asked herself if it's right to beat another woman and get the money for it.

"Okay so I have another rule. While you're staying in my home first, you cannot change wherever you want in this penthouse. Look. There's a camera…" He's pointing to every camera at the corner. " The second thing is you're my girlfriend. For few weeks. So made sure you will not sleep with other guys or do any crimes, I don't want to have a troublemaker girlfriend."

He stared back at those brown eyes before heading to the door, ready to go to on his way to one of the lower floors. Before reaching the door, Jiyong turned to Dara who was still standing there, watching his back. "Buy some clothes. The normal ones. I don’t really want to, but please to give the security to the view of your body." He placed the credit card on the table near the door before he disappeared behind the elevator steel-door.

[Jiyong's POV]

While my eyes were narrowing under the glasses I wore, I tried to read the paper of an agreement all over again but I couldn’t get my mind back together. I cancelled an important meeting for this morning and now I really pissed myself off. I couldn't even get myself back together, what the hell is happening with you, Kwon Jiyong?! It's just a simple stare seriously, were you out of your mind? She didn’t even know what her bra size that she should wearing. She’s not my type. Psh...

But those stares, I been missed those stares since forever... I sighed. I put off the glasses only to face palm while thinking about her. Again.

Let's see if she got through the first test that I made for her. I left the credit card in my room, I wanted to know how much she would spend with it today.

"Get me Seungri." It's Kiyong again. There isn’t much people that I can trust. He and Seungri were the only few friends I can trust. They knew who Sandara Park was under her cover. I trusted only a few persons in this earth. Yet, with just few hours I met Sandara Park, I felt like I could tell her everything about the truth of myself, either it's a lie or the real of me.

Kiyong nodded and walked out from the room, leaving me in the room only by myself to get Seungri as I asked him to do so. He was really the one that I can trust. His father also worked for me, unfortunately he passed away and then I trusted this young man in no time after I saw him for the first time.

I grabbed my phone and texted Kiyong.

Get me her number as well.

In no time he answered me with very short text.

Okay sir.

I ran my tongue wetting my lips, my lower lip while looking at my phone. You’re screwed, Jiyong.

Then I remembered about Stephanie. Right, that woman, how she was doing? She's having fun in Jeju with another guy... At first everything seemed so fine between us, but lately she was getting odd. How she disappeared in my event just to spend the money with my credit card. After that, I found that it was just all about the money between us. We shouldn't have been together in the first place, all I got now was just this . I even had my own scenario so I wouldn't look that pathetic while she's having an affair with some other guys. Stupid Kwon Jiyong.

The phone rang, as it helped me gathered my mind and soul back together, I pressed the button, "Mr. Kwon, Kwon Yoomin-ssi wants to meet you." I smirked when I heard who was coming to me. I hope I'll get him kneel down this time. It would be good to see this guy kneeling in front of me. I've been waiting for this time too long. I pressed the button off after I asked my secretary to get him inside.

It didn't take a few minutes to get him inside the room. I pretended that I've been reading the file on my desk. "What do you want?" I asked him while looking at the paper, not even giving a glance towards the older guy in front of me. "How can I help you, Kwon Yoomin-ssi?" I emphasized the name as I grinned at him, finally paying the attention towards the old man.

His wrinkled hands were already in fists next to his side. I noticed that but I just smiled, and gave him the best smile I have. How can I not smile, I just knocked down what he had. His company. That's my dream ever since I was a kid, to tear down every single things that he had.

"H-how could you do that?" I hold himself to smile widen, as I inhaled looking to him. "How can I have a son like you?" He stuttered and that made me laugh.

A son?

"I don't even remember having you as my father." I said coldly while looking at him, his eyes teary, just like mine. I felt my chest tightened when I told him that. "There's not a slight memory about you, Yoomin-ssi." He didn't know it's so suffocating after I told him that. "I hope you can tell everything through my secretary. I'm a very busy person, you know, Kwon Yoomin-ssi." His clenched fist loosened after I told him that. I can see his tears streaming down.

"Son of b-" He muttered under his breath as I chuckled when he stopped.

"? Yeah, a raised me unexpectedly well. As you can see now, I'm right here, doing my work. Finishing you. You got no place in this industry anymore, Yoomin-ssi. Now you can retire, or just go on a vacation with your beloved family." Then all the tears went back inside again, no, I'm not going to be weak for this old man. My life suffered a lot because of him and I won't lose it anymore. I will fight back against him no matter what.

I cannot forget how my mother begged for him to stay when I was a little kid but he just left us like that. We had nothing but each other, I don't have time to be a weak guy anymore. It's time for me to get all revenge.

He left me without saying goodbye. I just chuckled and got back on my work. Then someone knocked again, I held my lips from smirking even before I asked that someone to came in. I wished it's that old man, and would begging mercy from me.

Then a pair of heels echoed when she walked into my office room. Sandara Park. My expression changed to a straight face when I saw her walking in. She walked closer to my desk, and placed the credit card on the book that I put at the edge of the desk before. Wait, I didn't get the report about how much she spent, through my phone. I grabbed my phone and checked how much the credit card had been used, but there's no single text coming.

"I didn't use this. I still have so many clothes. I will pack first, then I'll be back to your place at night, Kwon Jiyong-ssi." She was surprisingly knew how to be polite though. She looked like a different person whom I met yesterday.

"How about this afternoon?" I asked, the maids were always go home after noon though.

Her eyes rolled, and just like that. She was back to the real her. "I have something to do, another work." Her hands entwined each other while I looked at her.

"What work? I clearly said that you cannot sleep with other guys while you're working with me."

She laughed, and shook her head while bowing like I just told her a very funny story. The sound of her laugh made me speechless. No one ever laughed at me while I was talking to them. This girl was really had no fear. I was still at my position while I kept staring at her who's laughing her outloud.

"What?" I asked her while frowning.

She waved her hands at me. "Nothing. Sorry, that's just hilarious. I'm-- okay so I'll be out. You don't need to worry, I’ll follow the rules that you made."

The smile faded as she tried to control her laugh, and I watched her with straight expression. You're not laughing at me.

"Oh right-" She crossed her arms over her small chest, did I forget to mention the curvy body to Seungri when I requested a woman from him? "I don't have a phone number."

I froze while watching her, and she looked at me back while waiting for my response. "Do you mean you don't have a phone?"

She nodded as I exhaled, almost flipping this table in front of me. What kind of person that doesn't have phone on this era?

She was looking at me innocently while I felt like I would storm up to her and attack her. I want to get rid of this girl, but the way she was looking at me was really addicting, that I cannot just get rid of her.

She shrugged and looked at me innocently, “I don’t have anyone to call though, I don’t think I really need that stuff.”

Not that stuff, it’s 2016 and people call it mobile phone, miss Park. I screamed inside my head while looking at this slim figure in front of me.

"Then I'll be going now." She said while adding some aegyo at her tone, and then she waved her hands at me.

Stop.

"Where are you going?" I asked her, why was I so curious about what she did?! What's wrong with me??

She sighed before opening . "Do you want to come with me at my workplace? So you will know that I won't sleep with another guy?"

I blinked, still don't know how to respond with what she said to me. I have a bunch things to do, and works too. But that's an interesting offer, "No, you know I'm kind of a busy guy. I have no time to roam around, following you to your workplaces."

She straightened her back and put her hands to her sides, "Then, okay, I'm leaving now."

She didn’t say anything after that. "Be back at 6, I'll be waiting for you at home."

"I could come back at 5." She nodded and bowed her back to me before leaving the room.

I called Kiyong after making sure that weirdo was out of my office room. "Can you do background check about Sandara Park?"

******

It took almost 30 minutes to get where Dara was working. She was fully dressed, with her uniform and the apron on. She put the ice cube inside the shirt that she found inside her locker. She then placed them over her bruised toes. The crowd can be heard from the locker room behind the cafe.

"Dara!" Someone called her name for the umpteenth time when she was trying to put her shoes on hurriedly, slipping herself while walking out from the locker room. "Dara can’t you hear me?!" pain-in-the--manager called her as she stood up from the floor, and running to out from the locker room.

"I AM HERE!" She shouted while raising her hand.

Every gaze in the room was turning to her but she just ignored them all. She was rapidly grabbing the tray and started making coffee after checking all the bills which was glued on the coffee maker. Although she felt her toes hurt, but she glad that she had enough sleep last night. She quickly placed some kinds of coffee she made on the tray.

"Dara, replace me, I need to go a little bit." One of workers said, Dara smiled and replaced her as the cashier.

"Take your time." Sandara said while smiling to her friend. "Welcome to AND.Here Cafe." Dara was looking at the cashier machine screen.

"Give me one black coffee." He said with his typical voice while crossing his arms over his board chest.

"What do you mean with one? Give us two americanos." Someone seemed more cheerful than him appeared next to him, his voice was cheerful and calm. He put his arm around his friend's shoulder.

"Okay then, two americanos." Dara's lips still showed the curved smile at the customers but her eyes still locked on the screen, "So all are 8000 won-" Her eyes looked at the guys in front of the cashier machine, her smile faded away when she looked at the guys in front of her, are the two guys that she knew. The first guy was the head who’s willing to pay her to be his fake girlfriend and the other guy was the totally hot-flirty boss, he's above level than pain in the as manager, and he's the owner at her work place, Lee Seungri. "." She muttered.

Jiyong let the clingy friend hang his arm around his shoulder. His gaze was still on Dara who looked at him speechlessly. "Ay, Sandara Park. You shouldn't have curse at the customer." Seungri said while smiling at her seductively. "You won't make the americanos, do you?" He asked when Dara still froze while looking at Seungri who was still standing there looking at her, without saying anything like her.

Dara turned her body to get the coffee for them, she hastily made two americanos for both of them then placed it on the tray, "Here's your coffee, sir." Dara bowed her head slightly then Jiyong and Seungri moved to their table. Seungri brought the tray just because he knew that Jiyong was not that kind of guy who would bring the tray even for himself. They chose the seat that faced the cashier where Sandara was standing.

"Seriously hyung, I didn't know either if she's working at my place." Seungri said but their eyes still looking at Dara, and it made her feel uncomfortable, she made mistakes to some customers. "If I only knew I will take her first, I’m not going to offer her to you." That statement made Jiyong clench his jaw. "She's really pretty, isn't she?"

Jiyong didn't say anything to respond what Seungri said. He just knew about where Sandara was working after Kiyong gave the background of Sandara Park this morning. His hand played with the cup of americano while his eyes looked at the hard-working Sandara. Somehow it bothered him to hear about Seungri's statement. He knew how player his best friend was and he’ll never let him touch Sandara.

After her friend was back to take over the cashier place again, eventually Dara get out. She was pretending to collect the trays from every table until she reached their table. "Oh Sandara Park-ssi." Seungri’s voice was loud and it sounded so “manly” but flirty.

"Y-yes sir." Dara bowed her back and tried to be as polite as she could. "Can I help you with something?"

Jiyong's eyes couldn’t take off from Dara's face who looked at Seungri with a plain smile, and being super polite to him. "Back to work." Jiyong asked her, while lifting up the americano in his hand.

"Are you just commanding her? Don't you both want to chat for a few minutes? I think that would be fine." Seungri said.

Jiyong was not the kind of someone who would be mad easily if his friend joking at him, only with his friend he could have joking, but he felt Seungri today was not funny at all, and the thing he wanted to do was punch him on the face.

"Go back work. We'll talk later at home."

"Wait you can't just shooing the pretty lad-" Seungri looked at him then stop what he's saying.

"At 5 don't be late." Jiyong got up from the seat and grabbed his suit which he hung at the chair's back rest. He left Seungri and Dara who still standing there, holding the trays. Seungri shrugged his shoulder at her and got up as well, to running to catch his friend's pace.

Chapter 41: Wow, thank you so much for your review! It really made me realise my mistakes. I'm kind of conflicted between making Chanyeol really happy or writing the whole story as perfect in grammar as I could (because his passion is writing and all), which isn't really the point of a diary. I'll take your suggestions into consideration and I'll definitely rewrite some parts of the chapters I've posted. Thank you so much!! <3 <3 <3 <3

P.S. Yeah, it's pre-planned(ish) because I really like to plan my stories and I don't know why .-. (ish because I still don't know how I'm going to write the conflict scenes and , or if I'm going to stick with the conflict I thought of when I was planning lmao)
