Chaeyoung opened her eyes to see herself on top of Dahyun. Chaeyoung had fallen over by misplacing a step in the potholes in the ground. She then realised that her lips had landed on her unnie’s.

Both of them blushed and stayed still for a moment before Chaeyoung bolted up away from her unnie. “S-s-sorry….” Chaeyoung uttered. Dahyun just shrugged it off and both of them continued their patrol in awkward silence.

Both of them ran back to the jeep to regroup. Mina then gave new sets of instructions. This time, Dahyun and Jihyo will be positioned on the building opposite of the facility.

Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon, Tzuyu and Sana will move in to the facility to search for any sign of Nayeon’s presence while Momo and Mina stayed near the jeep.

MI: Everyone ready?...

Dahyun cracked her fingers, closed one eye and armed her black matt modern bow and arrow; Jihyo laid down on the ground and gripped her sniper rifle tightly and reported “Snipers ready”

Mina signaled the scouts to move in. Chaeyoung gripped her knuckle blades while the other vampires extended their bladed claws which the Hunters specifically designed for them.

Momo got out of the car and stood outside to keep watch… well that’s the least she could do.

[Operation “Save Nayeon”]

They cautiously push the rusted metal doors open, hoping to reduce the screeching sound of the door hinges to the minimum. Since Vampires can see in the dark, Sana, Jeong yeon and Tzuyu peered in through the open door to scan the area.

It was full of worn-out and spoilt machinery after the fire that happened 3 years ago. After the coast is clear, they moved in slowly, each covering each other’s back and sides.

“Seems like it’s clear…” Whispered Sana
