The following day was another typical Saturday. The others had decided to hang out at Genie’s place. Gui Gui had told them that she and George won’t be coming because they want to ‘spend some private time’ together since they’re still an item to their friends’ eyes. But in reality, they’re spending their day at home, packing up all their stuff for the next day’s flight back to Australia.

After Gui Gui’s sudden request to fly back to Australia yesterday, George couldn’t do anything but to follow her wish despite the fact that he still doesn’t know about what happened yet. Even though from the inside, he’s dying to know the truth behind Gui Gui’s unstoppable tears, but he didn’t want to force her to, he knows, that she’ll tell him when she’s ready.

 Gui Gui bends her back and stretched her arms after putting the last piece of her clothing into her little black suite case.  “Finally, finished,” she lean forward to get grip of the top, pull it over, and zipped it up.

She flashes a charming smile towards George’s direction. The older man can only smile back stiffly trying to control his emotions.

“Gui Gui Wu Ying Jie, what am I going to do with you?” He thought gazing at her, torn.

“Hey there, y. You’re here alone?” a red haired girl settled down on a seat next to the young man who seems to be gulping down every bit of alcohol that’s offering at the bar.

Her eyes running up and down the attractive looking man in front of her from head to toe, like a hungry predator checking out it’s prey.  “You look lonely, mind if I join you?” A smile formed on the tip of her lips, which is covered by layers and layers of lipsticks.

He turns his head to look at her, half drunk. But instead of saying anything to her, he turn his attention back to his set of alcohol and continue to poor it down his throat like it’s water that he’s drinking.

“I’ll take that as a yes,” she knowingly smirks.

George lay in his bed, turning her and there, now and then. An uncomfortable and dreadful feeling spreads all over his body and it’s getting harder and harder to sleep by the minute.

Yes, he’s worried. There are so many things for him to be worrying about right now. Their flight tomorrow’s morning, their sudden leave, their soon-to-be left behind friends, and there’s Gui Gui’s ex-boyfriend a.k.a current best friend, Aaron Yan Ya Lun.

All of the thoughts swarm around his head like a flock of bees refusing to leave until they get their needs.

Another turn to the right, he claimed his eyes shut, trying to get some sleep so he won’t oversleep tomorrow. But whenever he closes his eyes, images and images of all his worries pop up here and there, and when this image disappears, another would soon replace its place.

“Arg!” he grunted. His body literally shoots up automatically. Frustrated, he head out to the kitchen to get a glass of water to cool himself down. Right when he’s about to head back to his room, he hears some muffling sounds coming from Gui Gui’s room. Without a doubt, he knows exactly what she’s doing.

Knowing that it’s better to let her be, George enters his room and closes his door quietly. He plopped himself down the bed, trying to make himself comfortable, but he knows, he knows if he doesn’t do this, then he won’t be able to get any sleep tonight.

He grab his phone from his nightstand and dial a number.
