I returned a few moments later after cover my now red and puffy eyes with some makeup. When I got back, Aaron seems to also calm down a bit but he's still lying helplessly on his bed.

"Aaron, I'll help you" I told him.

"Huh?" he said a bit surprised and confused.

"I said I'll help you....to forget about GuiGui" I repeated clearer this time.

"Y-You?" he questioned.

"Yeah" I replied. "You have a problem with that?"

"No, but...how?"

"You'll see" I smiled.

"Kids, dinner's ready! Hurry up and come down" Mrs. Yan called from down stairs.

"Speaking of dinner. I'm hungry" I said headign out when Aaron suddenly stop me.

"Wait!" he called. "You still haven't tell me how you're going to help me though"

"Didn't I say you'll see? Come on, hurry up. I want to eat"

"Okay..." he said. "Wait!" he called again.

Now I'm getting really irritate and add to my empty stomach. This better be good Aaron.

"What?" I said grumpily.

"Why are you offering to help me all of a sudden?" he got up and walk towards me with a suspicious look on his face.

"Nothing, I just thought that maybe I'll help you since we're going to stuck with each other for about 4 months" I shrugged putting on the best act I could.

"But didn't you said that this is just a stupid project that we'll just have to get over with no friends making in the process what so ever?"

Oh crap! I did said that to him!

"Yeah, but I changed my mind okay?" I said. "Plus, I'm just helping myself because I don't want to spend the next 3 or 4 months with a person still suffering from his past relationship"

Ooops! That was harsh. "I-I mean...not happy...."

"No, that's fine. You're just stating the fact" his face fell a little.

"Aaron...I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that"

"No, I said it's fine. Now come on let's just go eat. I'm starving" he said as both of us headed downstairs.

"Woah!!! These looks so yummy!!" I said excitedly looking at all the food on the table. 

"I'm glad you like them, I wasn't sure what you like so I just made a lot. Eat whatever you like okay Even? Don't be shy" Mrs. Yan laughed a bit.

"No need to worry about me. I love everything" I smiled at her and stuffed the food in my mouth. A few moments later, the food is burning my mouth.

"Ahhh! Hot! Hot! Hot!" I panic, mouth wide open trying to cool it down. Everyone was startled at my sudden outburst as Aaron quickly pull me towards him and blow into my mouth trying to cool down the food while Mrs. Yan gave me a cup of ice water.

"Haha...sorry for that. I was hungry" I smiled sheepishly.

"Be careful next time. How careless you are" Aaron warned.

"Aaron's right. You don't want to burn your mouth Even" Mrs. Yan agreed.

"I'm sorry, I'll be more carefull next time" I said as I again stuffed more food in my mouth. But this time, I make sure to cool it down first.

Our dinner went by fast as we chatted about school and what Mrs. Yan did during her time in America with Mr. Yan. I was half in and out of the conversation still busy planning out what I should do to make Aaron forget me...
