Ch. 14

“Surprises and Adventures!”

 

~Last time on WS~

 

  “I can't wait to see how it turned out.” Mari said, messing with her hair.

 

 After we all showered and said goodnight we fell asleep.

 

~Now~

 

  “I'm very scared for what oppa has to show us..” Kim said, walking out of her room freshly showered.

 

  “Little faith you all have in me.” Doogi said, making us smile.

 

  “Coming from the one who tells us that in a week we are having a showcase...” I said, nibbling on my pancake.

 

  “At least I brought you food and coffee.” he said, making us look at him.

 

  “That is the only reason we trust you...” Mari said, making us all laugh.

 

  “Well let's go then. I'm not sure how long these people are open.” Doogi said, walking towards the door.

 

 After glancing at each other, we followed Doogi out to the van.

 

  “Don't worry...this shouldn't take much of your free day up. After this you can go where ever you want.” Doogi said, pulling out onto the road.

 

 The drive to the place we were going was silent up until we hit a place filled with cars.

 

  “Our cars are here?” I asked, looking at Doogi with wide eyes.

 

  “Yep. They just came in this morning. All you have to do is tell them your name, show your ID and you are free to go.” Doogi said pointing towards the guards.

 

 We all walked up excited to get our cars back and in less than an hour we were able to drive away with our cars.

 

  “Okay. Follow me back to the company and then you can do what you want.” Doogi said, walking towards the van.

 

  “Why do we need to go to the company building?” Sera asked, standing near her car.

 

  “You need to get tags on your car so that the guards let you in.” he replied, making us all get in our cars and follow behind him.

 

 It took a second to get the stickers before we were free to go.

 

 A whistle bounced off the walls of the underground parking garage making us all turn towards the noise.

 

  “Are those yours?” Seungcheol asked, walking up to Sera since she was the closest to him.

 

  “Yep. Just got them back today.” I said, hugging my car door.

 

  “Are you even tall enough to drive?” Jihoon asked, earning him a glare from both me and Kim.

 

  “Are you pixie?” I said, making everyone laugh.

 

  “Why does everyone call me pixie?” Jihoon mumbled, looking around.

 

  “Your hair and you are short.” I said, pointing at his pink hair.

 

  “Wait...so you had your cars brought from California?” Jisoo asked, walking towards Kim's car.

 

  “Yep. The company CEO offered to have them brought over.” Kim said, moving to sit in her car.

 

  “What do you guys plan to do today?” Seungkwan asked, looking at us.

 

  “We are free today, so Doogi oppa said we could do what ever we want.” Mari said, sitting in her car as well.

 

  “Our schedules are clear as well. How about we take you on a tour of Korea for a day?” Soonyoung asked, looking at us.

 

  “Won't you get noticed?” I said, pointing at Jihoon and his hair as an example.

 

  “We are master's of disguises. Besides, Doogi hyung asked us to do it anyways.” Minghao said, looking at the bright pink car.

 

  “Alright then. If Doogi demands it then we shall follow through. Choose your driver wisely.” I said, getting into my car and closing the door.

 

 Jihoon, Soonyoung, Mingyu, and Wonwoo got in my car, Jihoon being a surprise since he sat in the passengers side. Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Dino and Seokmin went with Sera. Jun and Seungkwan went with Mari and Joshua, Vernon, and Minghao went with Kim.

 

  “Alright then. Let's get going.” I said, pulling out onto the main road, making sure the others were following.

 

 After stopping at a stop light I looked in the rear view to find everyone in the back staring at me.

 

  “Is there something on my face?” I asked, causing Jihoon to laugh.

 

  “No...It's just that yours and Jihoon's height are almost the same.” Mingyu said, making Jihoon stop and glare at him.

 

  “Okay. I've seen Seventeen TV....Jihoon's injured you enough don't you think?” I asked, making Soonyoung snicker.

 

  “Anyone have suggestions as to were we go first?” Wonwoo asked, looking at Mingyu.

 

  “I know two places where I want to go last, but not first.” I said, making everyone look at me confused.

 

  “Okay, where do you want to go last?” Soonyoung asked, leaning foreword in his chair.

 

  “Robotland and Lotte World.” I said, making them clap in happiness.

 

  “Your family must be rich.” Jihoon said, looking out the window.

 

  “I'm an only child, but I hardly saw my parents when I was in California. I grew up with Mari...my parents spoiled me since they could never be around.” I said, looking at the road.

 

 It was silent for a few minutes before Soonyoung spoke up again.

 

  “Since you want to go to Lotte, we'll have to avoid the mall...What about the Han River?” he asked, looking at me through the rear view mirror.

 

  “Isn't that supposed to be a romantic place?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “Yeah, but we have Mingyu and Wonwoo with us.” he said, making me laugh since I had shipped the Meanie couple for the longest time.

 

  “Alright then, the Han River it is.” I said, laughing.

 

 Jihoon stared at me for a second before looking back out the window.

 

  “Soonyoung, can you message Coups and let them know where we are going?” I asked, looking back at him through the rear view.

 

  “Sure.” he said, taking my phone and texting a number before putting it down.

 

 A few seconds later Jihoon's voice starts blasting through the car. My ring tone was set as Jihoon's part in '20'.

 

  “Why is that your ring tone?” Jihoon asked, turning to look at me.

 

  “Scared me.” Soonyoung said, unlocking the phone and reading Coups' reply.

 

  “I thought they..never mind...What did Coups say?” I asked, looking at Soonyoung.

 

  “He said okay and that he'll message Junhui and Jisoo.” Soonyoung replied, still holding his chest.

 

 Jihoon didn't speak so I assumed he let go of the fact that his voice was my ring tone.

 

 Mingyu and Wonwoo remained silent the rest of the ride and Soonyoung kept going between asking random questions and looking out the window.

 

  “We're here.” I said, waking up Mingyu and Wonwoo, who had falling asleep leaning on each other.

 

 The Meanie couple got out first, followed by Soonyoung.

 

  “Are you going to answer my question from earlier?” Jihoon asked silently after everyone got out the car except me and him.

 

  “Walk with me and i'll tell you.” I said, getting out of the car.

 

 I could tell Jihoon was shocked by the...I couldn't even call it a request but oh well. He got out of the car slowly before closing the door and walking over to my side.

 

 I locked the car before I felt someone grab my hand and pull me away from everyone.

 

  “Jihoon...Don't injure her.” Soonyoung yelled after us.

 

 I vaguely heard Mari ask what happen before Jihoon pulled me out of earshot.

 

  “Wow....impatient.” I mumbled, hoping he didn't hear me.

 

  “Now will you tell me?” Jihoon asked, looking around.

 

  “I said walk with me not drag me twenty feet away from our members...but I guess I can tell you now.” I said, walking a little to sit on a bench.

 

  “So why is that your ring tone?” Jihoon asked, sitting next to me.

 

  “I turn twenty next month and that song is one of my favorites.” I said, leaning back.

 

  “But why my part?” he asked, looking at the ground.

 

  “Because before I got recruited, you were my favorite member.” I said, smiling at him.

 

  “Before you got recruited? How about now?” Jihoon asked, looking at me before looking away again.

 

  “You still are my favorite...for someone so short, you are strong.” I said, rubbing where he had grabbed me.

 

  “Sorry...” he said, looking at the ground like it was the most interesting thing.

 

  “It's okay..It doesn't hurt. You know something?” I asked, making him look up.

 

  “What?” he asked, turning his head to the side.

 

  “Don't do that..I want to hit you...but you still owe me a walk.” I said, making him laugh.

 

  “Then let's go walk...I think I hear Seungkwan.” Jihoon said, standing up and grabbing my hand.

 

 “Are you hiding from your members?” I asked, slightly amused.

 

  “No...okay..kind of.” he said, pulling me along with him.

 

 I walked beside him, looking at our hands. He hadn't let go since pulling me from the bench.

 

  “What will you do if someone finds you familiar?” I asked, walking a little closer to him.

 

  “I guess we'll find out if it happens.” Jihoon said, shrugging.

 

  “I guess so...” I said, becoming silent.

 

 I thought of what the others were doing until I felt Jihoon tense up.

 

  “Everything okay?” I asked, looking at him before following his line of site.

 

 There was a bunch of cameras in front of us.

 

  “Just avoid them and pull up your hood.” I said using my free hand to pull his hood over his head.

 

 Jihoon slowly relaxed as we walked pass them before they asked if we wanted our picture taken.

 

  “Ah..Sorry. My girlfriend and I are very busy. Maybe some other time.” Jihoon said, changing his voice before wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me.

 

  “Girlfriend?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “It was for effect.” Jihoon said, looking away.

 

  “What time is it?” I asked, looking at Jihoon.

 

  “It's...we've been here for almost an hour...Where did your phone go?” Jihoon asked, looking at me after pulling his phone out of his pocket.

 

  “Soonyoung still has it.” I said, making Jihoon tense up again.

 

  “What's wrong now?” I asked, confused by his reaction.

 

  “I thought that Soonyoung was your favorite member.” he said, looking away.

 

  “He's my second favorite..but you're still number one. Why should my favorite member matter?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “I FOUND THEM!!!” a voice yelled from behind us, causing me and Jihoon to pull our hands away and turn around.

 

  “We were so worried...I though Jihoon killed you...” Soonyoung said, running up to us and hugging me.

 

  “I'm alive...let go now...” I said, struggling to be released.

 

I   was still confused about why Jihoon tensed up at my mentioning of Soonyoung and I really wanted to know why it sounded like he was growling when I finally went to stand next to him.

 

  “Okay..now that we found them...Our turn to pick a place.” Seungcheol said, grabbing Sera and Jeonghan before running back to the cars.

 

  “I guess we follow..” I said, following behind with Jihoon close to me.

 

  “Does everyone else know where you want to go last?” Soonyoung asked, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and I could feel Jihoon tensing near me again.

 

 I grabbed Jihoon's hand and made him walk closer to me before answering Soonyoung.

 

  “Yeah...I told them before we even left that before the night is over we should go to those two places.” I said, making sure no one noticed that Jihoon and I were holding hands.

 

 As soon as we got back to my car Jihoon went to the passenger and waited for me to unlock the door.

 

  “Does Jihoon get the front seat this entire time?” Soonyoung asked, looking at me.

 

  “Yep. Favorite in the front.” I said, smiling at him before unlocking it, Jihoon being the first in the car.

 

 The car ride to the place that Coups and Sera chose was quiet. As well as the places that Mari and Junhui chose and Kim and Jisoo.

 

  “So which one goes first? Robotland or Lotte World?” Kim asked, looking at me as we all stood near the cars.

 

  “Lotte World and then Robotland.” I said, getting in my car.

 

 Jihoon was still tense after what happened at the Han River and I had finally got my phone back from Soonyoung.

 

 I handed my phone to Jihoon and made him read what I wrote while we were walking around the place that Kim and Jisoo chose.

 

 'Why are you so tense? Loosen up..you look like you are going to kill someone. Why do you keep getting mad when Sooyoung is near me? Tell me at Lotte...now that I have this back we can run away again.' Jihoon nodded reading the last part before erasing the message and putting my phone near me.

 

 As soon as we got to Lotte, I suggested we break into pairs. Since we were still uneven, Soonyoung followed Seungcheol and Sera, leaving Jihoon and I alone.

 

 Jihoon had visibly relaxed as soon as Soonyoung agreed to go with the two.

 

  “Now will you tell me?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “Let's walk around for a little.” he said, using what I said at the Han River against me.

 

  “That is a smooth move Lee.” I said, walking up next to him.

 

  “Only the best from your favorite member Choi.” he said, lightly playing with my fingertips.

 

 After a few seconds I felt him fully grab a hold of my hand, making me look at him in shock, but he was looking the other direction.

 

  “So when do I get to know why you got so tense when Soonyoung hugged me?” I asked, moving closer to him.

 

  “When we find somewhere quiet.” he answered, still not looking at me.

 

 Up ahead I noticed a few girls looking at Jihoon and I. Jihoon noticed I was looking at something before looking as well.

 

  “Jihoon..do you know them?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “Fans..they came to our 'Boy's Be' showcase.” he said, pulling me to a corner trying to look normal.

 

  “What are you do...” I was cut off when he suddenly got closer to my face.

 

  “Shh...wait until they pass by us..” Jihoon said, leaning a little closer.

 

  “Ew....can't they just get a hotel room or something.” one of the girls asked as they passed, making me glare in their direction.

 

  “Calm down...are they gone yet?” Jihoon asked trying not to turn.

 

  “Yeah they are.” I said, moving to stand up normally, not realizing just exactly how close Jihoon and I actually were until our lips brushed.

 

 I moved away quickly, trying to hide the blush on my face.

 

  “Let's go before they come back.” Jihoon said, clearing his throat.

 

 I nodded before he grabbed my hand and pulled me near the back of the park before we actually found chairs to sit in.

 

  “Now will you tell me?” I asked, finally controlling my insides.

 

  “You still want to know that bad?” he asked, looking around to make sure no one was near us.

 

  “I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to know...Soonyoung is your group member. I don't see why you'd tense when he hugs me...” I said, looking at the people passing by us.

 

  “I don't know why I tensed either. I'm not used to emotions...or at least showing them anyways.” Jihoon said, looking at the ground.

 

  “I could tell...like I said...I've been watching you guys since pre-debut.” I said, looking at him.

 

  “I know. I remember that part...it creeped me out the first time I heard you say that.” Jihoon said, making me laugh.

 

  “Then what made you tense?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “I still don't know...i've never liked someone before...” Jihoon said, not even realizing what he said.

 

  “Wait...what?” I asked, looking at him surprised.

 

  “Nothing...let's go ride some things before we go to Robotland.” Jihoon said, standing and holding out his hand.

 

  “I won't let you go so easily Lee.” I said, still following behind him anyways.

 

  “I know Choi.” he said, laughing at me.

 

 We rode a few of the rides before Sera called me saying it was time to go to Robotland.

 

  “Sera said it's time to go.” I said, poking Jihoon in the side.

 

  “Okay.” he said, glaring at me a little for poking him.

 

  “Fight me pixie.” I said, making him laugh.

 

  “Did you just tell me to fight you?” he asked, still laughing.

 

  “Yes.” I said, looking at him unamused.

 

  “Let's go before they send Soonyoung after us again.” Jihoon said, grabbing my hand as we walked to the entrance.

 

 He let go as soon as we got near the cars and got in, making sure no one saw us holding hands.

 

 'So how is your day so far unnie? ;)' -Mari

 

 'What's with the winky face?' -Lia

 

 'You have been alone with Jihoon all day unnie...tell me when we get to the dorms.' -Mari

 

 Our conversation ended there as we all started our cars and headed to our last destination.

 

  “Here we are..” Mingyu said, looking out of his window.

 

  “How's you date so far?” I asked, looking at Mingyu and Wonwoo.

 

 The two stared at me wide eyed before getting out of the car.

 

  “You made them blush...you have my appreciation.” Jihoon said, getting out of the car and me following along.

 

  “Are we breaking into pairs again?” Mari asked, coming up next to me.

 

  “Yep. It can be with the same people or someone else...but i'm sure we are all comfortable with our previous partners so do what you want.” I said smiling, before walking away with Jihoon.

 

  “I'm surprised none of them have asked us anything.” Jihoon mumbled, walking next to me.

 

  “One has. Mari messaged me before we left Lotte.” I said, making him go pale.

 

  “Calm down. I haven't said anything...there isn't really anything to say.” I said, looking around as we waiting in line.

 

 After getting our wrist bands, we left everyone to do what they wanted.

 

  “I still wonder what is going on between Sera and Coups.” Jihoon said, walking closer to me so that he could grab my hand again, playing with the tips of my fingers.

 

  “I don't know either....but that tickles.” I said, trying to move my hand away.

 

  “Let's go on the roller coaster.” Jihoon said, looking up at said ride.

 

  “Okay.” I said, pulling him into the line.

 

 To sum up the ride, I was screaming and i'm sure Jihoon had nail marks on his arm from how hard I was squeezing him.

 

  “You have long nails.” Jihoon said, rubbing the marks on his arm.

 

  “Sorry...” I said, moving to grab his arm and look at it.

 

  “Don't look at it so intensely...you might burn a hole through my arm.” he said, making me laugh.

 

  “You know I still want to know what you said back at Lotte right?” I asked, looking up at him.

 

  “I know...I'll tell you eventually.” he said, hugging me lightly.

 

  “I want to know now though.” I said, pouting.

 

  “On the last ride i'll tell you.” he said, holding out his pinkie as a promise.

 

  “Okay.” I said, linking my pinkie with his.

 

 We walked around and rode more ride before we got hungry and decided to eat before going on the last few rides.

 

  “How come you're so small?” I asked,watching him eat.

 

  “I could ask you the same thing.” he said, glancing at me.

 

  “Point taken.” I said, shrugging.

 

  “How many more rides do you guys plan on going on?” Mari asked, walking up to us, in a jacket way to big for her.

 

  “Only like two or three.” I said, glancing at the jacket.

 

  “Okay. It's almost nine...Doogi oppa is freaking out.” Mari said, handing me her phone.

 

 I read the texts before face planting the table.

 

  “I'll message him and let him know where we are. Go have fun with Junhui.” I said, looking at said male who was waiting behind her.

 

  “Okay.” Mari said, waving at me before running back to Junhui and leaving.

 

 I messaged Doogi before looking at Jihoon to see he was done eating.

 

  “She was wearing his jacket.” Jihoon said, making me laugh.

 

  “Thanks for the info.” I said, smiling at him before standing up.

 

 We threw our trash away before going on a ride that wasn't to fast for our stomach while it settled.

 

  “Let's go on the gyro drop.” Jihoon said, pointing at the ride where people were screaming.

 

  “Do you want more claw marks?” I asked, looking at him with a serious face.

 

  “It's worth it.” he said shrugging, before pulling me towards the ride.

 

 I got off the ride with a glare on my face and a laughing Jihoon.

 

  “Don't worry the last ride is friendlier...” Jihoon said, still trying to catch his breath from laughing so hard.

 

  “What ride would that be?” I asked, glaring at him.

 

  “The ferris wheel.” he said, pointing at the lit up ride.

 

  “Is this payback for calling you short?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “Let's go...we only have a few minutes until we have to leave.” Jihoon said, grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers.

 

  “Don't forget you have to tell me what you said earlier.” I grumbled, following after him.

 

  “I know.” he said, a little to low that I almost didn't hear him.

 

  “So why is this the last ride?” I asked, looking at him.

 

  “Because it's quiet. How long has it been since we first met?” Jihoon asked, looking at me as we waited in line.

 

  “Since the concert or since the practice room?” I asked, still wanting to throw Seungkwan out of a window.

 

  “Practice...since we didn't really talk after the concert.” he answered, before moving up.

 

  “Hmmmm......about three weeks?” I said, moving to get into the seat since it was finally our turn.

 

  “Seems like longer...” Jihoon mumbled, before shrugging.

 

 The ride started moving causing me to initially freak out.

 

  “Calm down. If you fall i'll end up going with you.” Jihoon said, squeezing my hand.

 

  “You seem pretty fine with expressing yourself right now.” I said, pointing out how relaxed he was.

 

  “That's because i've had an entire day were I just got to mess around. I haven't done any work and i've been away from my members pretty much the entire day.” he said, looking past me causing me to turn and look.

 

  “Wahhh...so pretty.” I said, turning almost completely to look at the site.

 

  “It is..” Jihoon said, making me turn to look at him.

 

 He was staring at me before he leaned closer to me and kissed my lips lightly before pulling away a little.

 

  “What was that for?” I asked, looking into his eyes.

 

  “You wanted to know what I said so badly at Lotte...” he said, not moving back.

 

  “You kissed me...you didn't mention kissing at Lotte did you?” I asked, very confused, making Jihoon laugh at me.

 

  “No...but I can't express myself through words...so actions are better...” Jihoon said, leaning closer again to see if I'd move back.

 

 I stared at him and didn't move until he kissed me again only a little harder this time and I slowly kissed him back, unsure of how to react...Seriously..how are you supposed to react to you bias kissing you?

 

  “I like you too pixie.” I said, after he finally moved away.

 

 He smiled at me before kissing my cheek.

 

  “Thank you for today...” he said, helping me out of the chair.

 

  “I think I should be thanking you...” I said, moving to stand beside him.

 

 Jihoon took off his jacket since it was late and all the fangirls should be gone by now.

 

  “Then I guess we thank each other...today was the best day i've had in a long time.” he said, holding out his jacket for me.

 

  “What do you want me to do with it?” I asked, taking a hold of it.

 

  “Put it on...your lips are not the color they are supposed to be.” Jihoon said, looking at me closely.

 

  “Oh...” I said, playing with my lips before putting the jacket on.

 

  “I can't be that much taller than you..” Jihoon said, slightly shocked when the jacket covered my shorts.

 

 I pulled up the hood before showing him tongue.

 

  “I'm only two inches shorter than you....” I said, putting my hands in the pocket of the jacket.

 

  “You look cute like that.” Jihoon mumbled, moving closer to me.

 

  “What?” I asked, looking up at him.

 

 Jihoon didn't answer me, instead he just hugged me.

 

  “You look very cold.” he mumbled against the jacket.

 

 I looked at him before standing on my tiptoes and kissing him.

 

 Jihoon pulled at the ends of the jacket to cover our faces.

 

  “It's a little warmer now.” I said, smiling at him.

 

  “Let's go find the others.” he said, grabbing my hand lightly before we walked around to find the others.

 

 We found each other one by one and because of how long the jacket was on me and how close Jihoon and I were standing next to each other, we didn't have to let go of each others hands until we got to the cars.

 

  “We can show them the way to the dorms and then say goodbye for the night. They only have a few days till their showcase before we see them again.” Seungcheol said, making us four girls glare at him.

 

  “Think you hit nerves Coups.” Soonyoung said, causing the other members to laugh.

 

 We all got in the cars and I turned up the heat to warm up.

 

  “Lia noona are you okay?” Wonwoo asked, leaning forward.

 

  “I'm fine...it's just really cold outside....and just call me Lia...I'm only a few months older than you guys..” I said, driving behind Sera, since Coups was the one giving directions.

 

  “Okay...” the three in the back said.

 

 Jihoon grabbed my phone and put something in it before putting it back and looking out the window innocently.

 

 We drove to the back of the dorms so that no one could see all of us getting out to say good night to each other.

 

  “I put my number in your phone if you were wondering. Text me when you guys get back to the dorm so I know you got there okay.” Jihoon said, hugging me.

 

  “What about your jacket?” I asked, getting ready to take it off.

 

  “Just hold onto it...” he said, holding my hands to keep me from taking off the jacket.

 

  “Fine..then hold onto this..” I said, taking off my birthstone necklace and handing it to him.

 

  “I'll put it on later.” he said, smiling at me before hiding it in his jeans.

 

  “Good night.” we all said one more time, before the boys went inside and we all drove back to our dorm.

 

 We didn't talk that much before going to sleep since we were all tired and had practice tomorrow.

 

 'We are home now...I'm going to sleep. Don't forget about the necklace in your pocket.' -Lia

 

 'I already have it on. Everyone is already asleep here I think. Good night Lia. <3' -Jihoon

 

 I smiled at the text before sending a heart back and putting my phone on the charger. I changed into my pajamas before putting the jacket back on and falling asleep.

 

…...........................HOLY JEBUS LONG CHAPTER!!!.....The amount of cheese would kill a lactose intolerant person XD..Hope you guys liked this super long chapter and Happy 19^th Birthday Mari <3. Hehe Jihoon getting jealous about Soonyoung was adorable (mostly because I ship SoonHoon)...Hope you subscribe and i'll see you again ASAP! P.S.
