-KAENIN'S POV-

A pen whizzed its way to me as it knocked me across the face. My half shut eyes snapped open and I glanced to my left where Heng-Yi sat, twirling another pen in her hands and gesturing at me to pay attention. I huffed. It wasn't my fault that stupid Seungri had texted me till late last night. School had become a daily, albeit boring, routine, where I found myself waking up early, dragging my lazy to school for dancing, singing and studying, before making my way home to usually be greeted by one heck of a messy dorm. On the bright side, me, Heng-Yi and Chul-Moo had grown closer, and same goes for me and U-KISS.

"Ms Woo Kaenin, is my lesson really that unappealing to you?" My teacher snapped at me.

*Yes, as a matter of fact, you bore me to death* But I plastered on a fake apologetic smile on my face. "Ani, mianhae." I replied quickly. I saw Chul-Moo stick out her tongue at the teacher and bit back a laugh.

"Moving on," my teacher continued with a final glare in my direction, "this project will make up a large percentage of your grade. I suggest you put in effort to do well in this, or you can kiss any thoughts of getting a decent grade goodbye." Right at that moment, the bell rang shrilly, signaling the end of the lesson and end of the school day.

Hallelujah.

"Falling asleep again? I'm disappointed in you, Ms Woo." Heng-Yi chastised mock seriously.

"Shut up." I muttered.

"Well, are you guys busy today? If not, let's get started on the project! I have a feeling we're only going to get more and more. We could go to the mall to get materials. Huh huh huh?" Chul-Moo interjected excitedly.

Heng-Yi shrugged. "Fine with me. Today's my free day."

I agreed. "I'm not expected back home this early."

Chul-Moo flashed a smile. "Excellent. Let's go!"

Together, we made our way to the mall, COEX. We entered shop after shop as we hunted for materials for the project, though we eventually ended up digressing and looking at clothes instead.

Hey, don't judge, girls will be girls.

Heng-Yi pulled out many different outfits and we had fun laughing over the various pieces. She handed me piece after piece as we roamed from shop to shop, sometimes earning irritated or amused looks from other customers around.

"Yah, Kaenin-ah, this one looks ni-"

"Kae Kae! Come here! Look what I found!" Chul-Moo interrupted Heng-Yi and sidled up in between us, slipping her arm through mine and pulling me to the other side of the shop, where she handed me all sorts of clothings. I saw Heng-Yi knit her eyebrows in confusion as she put down what she was carrying in her arms to catch up with us, while Chul-Moo relentlessly brought me around everywhere. Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate in my skirt pocket, and I swiftly unhooked my arm from Chul-Moo's iron grip and headed to a corner to see who it was.

Well, I ignored the ones from Seungri first. Is he always this free?

From: Baby Dongho

Kaenin-ah! Where are you? Kevin hyung said you headed over to COEX to shop for stuff for some thingy. The dorm feels empty without you... so I'm coming to COEX to look for you! Whee!

*Oh no. Bad bad bad. Heng-Yi and Chul-Moo can't find out about Dongho...*

In a split second, I rushed over to my friends and dragged them out of the shop and strode towards the exit of COEX.

"Yah! What-" Heng-Yi began.

"Err, mianhae! I'm feeling tired. Anyway, we've got what we needed, neh? Let's head home. I'm going this way!" I hastily got out as I broke away from the two. Heng-Yi rose a brow in confusion but didn't say anything, whereas Chul-Moo narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"Strange, but okay. See you guys. Chul-Moo, which way're you going?" Heng-Yi asked as she backed away.

Chul-Moo simply smiled. "With Kaenin." And with that, she took my arm and dragged me away from Heng-Yi without so much as a goodbye. "Kae Kae! What's up? There's so much more shopping to do!"

I laughed uneasily. "Ah... Andwae. I really do need to be heading home, and shouldn't you be going the other way?" I pointed out as I steered her in the right direction. I swore for a moment she bit her lip in irritation, but the moment was fleeting and I figured I must've imagined it. She just smiled and gave me a quick wave. "Anneyeong! See you tomorrow! And let's do the project at your place, okay?" Just like that, she darted off.

*Saved. Barely.* I thought as my phone began to ring.

'Eokkaega chuk neureojyeo ittneun neo
Hansumman ddang kkeojige swineun neo...'

"Yes, Dongho?" I answered.

"I seeeee youuu! Turn around!"

I rolled my eyes as I walked over to him. He beamed in joy when I pinched his cheeks.

What? This is one thing other than chocolate that I find pretty irresistable.

"You! You know I can't let you be seen by my friends! Aish you-" I stopped abruptly as he pouted at me sadly.

"Mianhae, Kaenin-ah. Mianhae mianhae. Let me buy you some nice snacks before we go back? Neh? Hehe!" He tugged me along as he shifted his hood further up his head. Instantly, I felt my anger fade as U-KISS's adorable maknae led me around the food shops.

*Only one thing left to worry about. How to convince Chul-Moo that coming to my house is a no-no... if that's even possible. I doubt anything good'll come out from a situation like that.*

Another chapter! This one didn't take too long because half the chapter had already been planned out. Hmmm, I wonder what'll happen if the project ends up taking place at the U-KISS dorm...
