(The title of this chapter is actually the English translation of a line from one of U-KISS's songs!)

-NARRATOR'S POV-

The dining room in U-KISS's dorm was filled with excited laughter and cheerful chatter as the eight teens ate their dinner as one family again. U-KISS made sure that Kaenin wouldn't regret her decision coming back.

Although, you could say, they were over-doing it a little.

Kaenin felt like a princess, and that says a lot.

Throughout the meal and the time they spent together after that, never once was Kaenin excluded from the conversation. The members constantly added more food onto her plate, continuously cracked lame jokes and checked up on her every possible minute. She rolled her eyes at them countless times, but she wouldn't have had it any other way.

After all, this was U-KISS, the dorky, sweet idol group.

Halfway through a mass video game session in the comfortable living room, Kaenin slunk off to the roof, a place where she found solace to just think. Amidst the silent, crisp night air and dark night sky where the stars twinkled on endlessly, Kaenin couldn't help but smile.

This was the life she had been waiting to have for so long. To experience the warm love of a big family, and to have endless opportunities and possibilities before her.

"You do know they're celebrating your return down there, right?"

Kaenin smiled. She didn't even have to turn around to recognise that shy, yet sweet voice.

"I know. I just wanted some fresh air. And I like it up here." Kaenin answered simply, hearing his footsteps approaching her.

"Mmm," Kiseop hummed, leaning against the railing next to her. "I like it here too. It's peaceful."

Kaenin nodded. "Yeah, it's like a small place for a quick getaway."

"Are you regretting it so far?" Kiseop asked worriedly.

Kaenin knew what he was referring to and smiled genuinely, turning to face him. "I've never regretted it, Seoppie. Not even all the drama. Nothing."

Kiseop heaved a sigh of relief, just as he thought back to the encounter he had with Seungri a few days ago. He glanced over at Kaenin, who was staring up at the stars.

"Are you worried about what's going to happen in the future?" Kiseop asked.

"Hmm?" Kaenin inquired.

"I mean, are you afraid that some new drama might break out again? All eight of us just got together again, and I don't want this to end."

Kaenin paused. "Anything could happen, Seoppie. If something were to drive another wedge between us, then we're just gonna have to face it. Of course, I wish it wouldn't, though..." Kaenin trailed off, thinking of something that would lighten the mood. "But hey, at least Chul-Moo transferred!" She said with a wink.

Kiseop laughed and looked at her, a happy sparkle in his eyes. "You're something else, Woo Kaenin."

Kaenin shrugged and faced him as well, looking him over before replying.

"And so are you, Lee Kiseop." She murmured.

Kiseop bit his lip. "I can't guarantee what will happen in the future. But for now, what I can tell you is that all your past troubles end here. It might not be much, but I'll do my best to always make you happy, araso?"

A smile broke out on Kaenin's face. "You just being here with me is good enough, oppa."

Kiseop grinned, satisfied. She hadn't called him that in a long time. The two of them stood there for a long time, underneath the beautiful skyline, and just enjoying each other's company.

It was what they did best, after all.

"Yah! Woo Kaenin and Lee Kiseop! If you don't get here now, we're going to assume you two are doing something you're not supposed to be doing, and Kevin will go berserk."

Well, that killed the moment.

Kaenin and Kiseop both rolled their eyes at AJ's loud shout from downstairs. Just as they were about to go, Kiseop bent down slightly, and nervously, before giving her a swift kiss on the forehead.

"Y-yah!" Kaenin exclaimed, her heart pounding as her fingers flew to her forehead. "Pabo," she muttered.

Kiseop chuckled and tilted his head. "Let's go out sometime, together, okay?"

Kaenin smiled softly. "Definitely, oppa."

As Kiseop flushed lightly, Kaenin suddenly brought her forehead to his, and Kiseop's eyes widened. After staring straight at each other for what seemed like a very long time, she pulled back with a satisfied grin.

"There. You get a forehead kiss, too!" She laughed, before dashing off.

*Unbelievable* Kiseop shook his head, but couldn't help but anticipate the day they would head out together, alone.

*Eh, I think I'm thinking too far ahead.*

-KEVIN'S POV-

I glanced around the room. Seeing that Kaenin was nowhere in sight, I decided to tell the other guys about my plan.

Hmm, for some reason, Kiseop was gone too. But I'll worry about him later.

"Yah, you pabos. Listen up." I hissed at the group. Thankfully, they stopped playing and faced me. I didn't want Soohyun hyung to shout to get their attention.

"Look, Kaenin's birthday is coming up soon and-"

"Really?! REALLY?!" Dongho exclaimed, totally excited, as he jumped up from the beanbag he was lazing on.

I gave him a silencing glare and continued. "Yes, and I was thinking that we could plan a surprise party for her! It'll be amazing if she enjoys it, and it is the least we could do." I explained with a shrug.

The members nodded eagerly, and began firing endless questions about the date, time, place and so on and so forth. We settled the easy details first, as Hoon, the ever responsible one, took simple notes on a small piece of paper to be strictly hidden at all costs.

Or I'd slap him left, right and center if Kaenin found out.

"We should get Kiseop down, too. He needs to know this." Soohyun hyung suggested as he eyed Hoon's messy notes.

Right. Where is Kiseop?

Ohoho, if he was with my sister and trying to make a move on her, I'd fry him and eat him for supper.

I think Eli saw the evil gears turning in my head, and he quickly knocked me out of it just as AJ shouted for them both to come back down.

Stupid, stupid Lee Kiseop.

Must be fair, right? A bit of Seungri, and a bit of Kiseop (x Ahh I love the picture of Kiseop in the middle <3

I love typing Kevin as the overprotective brother. Makes way for lots of lame jokes and stupid ideas, teehee (:

Aish, I will never get INSANE fangirls.

Awesome ending! I don't get those fangirls that don't want idols to date. Seems to me that if you really love them, you would want them to be happy. Plus, idols are always singing about love, but if they never date how can they actually KNOW what they're singing about. If they have never gone through the ups and downs of love they won't be able to really put emotion into their songs. So really by letting them date they become a better and more understanding singer.
