Dara x Taehyung

Dara's always been vocal about her preference for younger men. In fact, younger men also adored her. Her list of admirers is endless, but a certain young man had already captured her interest. It was in MAMA 2015 that catapulted her friendship with BTS' V. To her, he was simply Kim Taehyung, the boy with a precious heart.

Taehyung was exhausted from BTS' promotion. He wasn't sure his body could handle it anymore.

"You look dead," Jimin sat by him on the practice room's floor

"So do you,"

"We all look dead," Jungkook joined the two on the floor.

Namjoon and Jin stayed standing up while Hoseok was out for a restroom break.

"But this is our dream," Taehyung reminded them

"So we must keep going," Namjoon added

"Tae is always reminding us," Jimin ruffled Taehyung's hair

That second, Taehyung's cellular device vibrated. He already knew who the text message is from.

"Practice is done for the night by the way," Jin informed them

"I'll go ahead," Taehyung stood up

"Looks like he got his energy back," Jungkook whispered to Jimin

"You already know why," Jimin snickered

"Take care, man," Namjoon nudged Taehyung.

Taehyung could not suppress his smile any longer. He didn't want to prolong his stay so he decided to run out the room.

"Those guys," he shook his head

Hoseok was returning from the restroom then.

"Taehyung , you're going already. That must mean she's here now," he assumed

"You guys will never let this go,"

"Because who knew the Sandara Park would end up your best friend?" Hoseok put Taehyung in a headlock

"I know," grinned Tahyung despite the uncomfortable position

"Well don't keep her waiting," Hoseok released Taehyung from his hold

"You're the one that stopped me!"

Hoseok's laughter filled the hallway.

"Go on now," he lightly pushed the younger boy.

Taehyung hurriedly rush to the parking lot and alas, saw his goddess of a best friend.

"This. This is enough for me," he thought, "Us as friends is enough."

He waved at the beautiful lady behind the driving wheel before running to the parked vehicle.

"Hey," he greeted her as he opened the car door

"My timing is getting better and better," she said

"How long did you wait?"

"Only five minutes,"

"Nice,"

"Strap on your seatbelt, Tae," she told him, "Where do you want to eat?"

"Wherever you want to is good for me. You know more places than I do," he answered

"No cravings?"

"Chicken,"

"We can go to Se7en's restaurant,"

"Won't it be crowded?"

"Don't worry about that. I got the hookups," she winked

That one wink sent butterflies flying in Taehyung's stomach.

"Let's go," she said excitedly.

Taehyung wasn't so sure he could hold it in any longer.

"You're so cute," he said

Dara stepped on the brakes.

"What?" She stared at him

"I said you're so cute," he repeated

"What's gotten into you?" She asked

"Nothing. I'm just stating the obvious,"

"You never call me cute. Not even pretty. You just tell me I'm silly, clumsy, klutz-"

Without thinking, Taehyung shut Dara up with a kiss. It was bound to happen, Taehyung's true feelings exposed. He'd been holding it in far too long, denying it even.

"What was that?" Stuttered Dara unable to comprehend Taehyung's action

Taehyung still had his right hand on Dara's cheek before he moved it to her shoulder.

"I'm sorry if that shocked you," he apologized

"What's going on with you?"

"I'm not going to say sorry for kissing you. I've been wanting to do that for as long as I can remember,"

"Tae,"

"Look, Dar. I love our friendship. More than anything in this world but I love you as so much more than a best friend," he admitted

Dara kept mum for a few seconds.

"I understand if you wouldn't want to talk to me right now," he unbuckled his seat belt, "But I hope our friendship won't end. I just, I just couldn't help it-"

It was Dara's turn to stun Taehyung with a peck on the lips.

"You talk too much," she told him.

Taehyung's eyes widened in disbelief. He blinked several times and felt his soul leave his body.

"You're slow, Taehyung. Way too slow," she tapped his nose.

I am sorry I took so long to come back. I have been going through a rough time in university. It's been physically, emotionally and mentally draining. I honestly don't know what I am doing with my life & my feelings are all over the place so I stopped writing for awhile. I am not sure I can convey what you all want hence I stopped taking requests. Vacation is ongoing so maybe I will start requests again. Maybe writing will help clear my mind. Thank you for the subscribers that stayed with me and for leaving your comments.
