Pairing | NamDara

Taehyun was seated between Mino and Seungyoon, but his mind was somewhere else. They were suppose to be having a discussion for their next music video, but Taehyun didn't see what was needed to be discussed. He was clearly the best choice to be the main protagonist given his acting skills.

“Yah, Taehyun, say something,” Mino waved his hand in front of Taehyun's face

“Huh?”

“He wasn't even listening,” Seunghoon said

“Our maknae is spacing out,” pointed out Jinwoo

“What is it?” asked Taehyun

“Are you okay with acting again?” repeated Seungyoon

“Of course,” he replied

“Can you believe YG is allowing us to decide this?” questioned Mino

“Well it isn't a big decision,” Seunghoon put in

“Now that that's done, what about the lead girl?” Taehyun was curious.

He didn't really care about girls, but he especially cared about his Dara noona. He was hoping she would feature in their music video since she has helped other label mates with their albums featuring in their songs and music videos.

“We don't get to choose that,” Seungyoon informed the group

“What?” Taehyun almost spat

“Calm down there,” Mino laughed

“Who would you choose anyways?” Seunghoon asked

“Dara noona,” Taehyun answered quickly

“Dara noona is a great choice,” Jinwoo got excited, “She has acted before. I bet she wouldn't hesitate if we asked her.”

Mino was eying Taehyun. He's been sensing a different aura from Taehyun every time Dara was mentioned or around.

“But we don't even have the power to pick her,” Seungyoon reminded them

“It's just a suggestion. Plus it would be more comfortable to work with someone we already know,” explained Taehyun

“We can pray that YG picks Dara noona then,” said Seungyoon.

The five boys finished their conversation quickly. Most of them wanted to head back to dorm to rest but Taehyun wanted to stay longer in the practice room to have alone time.

“You sure you don't want company?” Mino had his hand on Taehyun's shoulder

“Yeah,”

“Don't think about her too much,” Mino gave him a pat

“Huh?”

“You can fool the others, but you can't fool me,”

“I don't know what you're talking about,” Taehyun played dumb

“You're a goner, Nam Taehyun.”

With that being said, Mino left Taehyun all to himself.

It has been over a year since they officially debuted as Winner. He was still trying to absorb everything in his mind. It still felt like a dream to him. He couldn't believe that he: was finally a singer, has supporters, is in YG Entertainment, etc. I am living the life I want to live. But there was still something missing. Taehyun felt there was something lacking, but he didn't want to acknowledge it. He was falling harder everyday for Dara. He wanted to rid her off his mind and heart, but at the same time, he wanted to be around her 24/7. It was a push and pull in his heart. But I'm in too deep. He was feeling too much emotions. He didn't like it. It made him vulnerable. It was becoming harder keeping the “diva” image on.

“Hello?” someone opened the door

Taehyun got a scare.

“Hello,” he responded back

“Taehyun, you're here,” it was the cause of his chaos

“Noona,” Taehyun stood up

“You don't have to stand up. You can sit,” Dara told him

“Why are you here?”

“Am I not welcomed?” Dara laughed

“It's not that--” Taehyun stuttered

“Were you here for some alone time? I can leave,” Dara grabbed the door's handle

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean it in a bad way, I was just asking,” Taehyun defended himself

“You seem so tense,” she noticed

“I was just thinking,”

“Why does this place seem to be the place for us artists to think?” she said, “And the rooftop,”

“Is that what you came here for?”

Taehyun was already near Dara by then. He didn't know how or when he started moving towards her. It was like she had this pull on him.

“Kind of,”

“Let's go sit, noona.”

It started out as a playful noona x dongsaeng relationship, and Taehyun knew it but he couldn't stop, couldn't stop falling.

“Are you sure you want my company?” Dara hesitated

“I always want your company.”

Dara blushed at Taehyun's statement. The two went over to the only black couch to sit on.

“It's so weird seeing you so serious,” Dara spoke

“Am I not always serious?”

“Well you seem like it in shows, but you're always so mischievous, playful, when I see you,”

“Only because I like to see Dara noona smile,”

What are you doing, Taehyun? You're making things worse.

“If you keep saying things like that, I might start falling for you,” Dara was just joking but---

“Then I should keep doing it,”

“This boy,” she laughed awkwardly

“Does noona feel it too? The tension?” Taehyun inched closer to Dara

“I certainly feel it now that you're doing this,” she tried to distance herself from him only to end up having her hands on his chest.

Dara could feel Taehyun's heartbeat.

“I'm sure you know,” he was whispering now

Taehyun's breathing pace changed.

“Know what?”

Dara was almost lying down now with Taehyun slightly on top of her. She could have easily avoided the situation but she was frozen. She couldn't look away from Taehyun's eyes, as if she was being hypnotized.

“I don't need to say it,”

“Then how will I know?”

Taehyun's eyes wandered to Dara's lips and then finally captured them.
