It has been at least two months tops since Dara and Sanghyun had quality time together. Dara texted her younger brother many times, but he rarely replied. She couldn't blame him since they both had their groups to tend to. But she couldn't help but nag sometimes.

Dara was free from any schedule now, but she knew her brother was in works with his possibly last album with MBLAQ.

Dara slept well knowing she was seeing her brother the following day. She always looked forward to seeing her family members in the midst of the hectic schedule that came along with fame. She especially loved spending time with them without having to worry about being in a hurry for a gig so she slept right on time to gain the energy she needed for her special date with Sanghyun.

The next day, Dara woke up at 5AM due to her excitement. She immediately texted her brother.

GOOD MORNING!

She then started to clean around the house to past time. By the time she finished cleaning, it was only 7AM.

Noona. Why were you awake that early? That's the time only angels are awake T-T

Cuz I'm excited to see you!

Dara gasped at Sanghyun's text. It was rare for him to suggest bonding time. Usually, it was Dara who thought of such things.

You sick? :O

No.

Aigoo. You miss me! >:)

No reply came after.

“Sill boy won't admit it,” Dara talked to herself.

Dara felt like she was on cloud 9 already. Her phone then rang.

“Well? Are we having breakfast together?” it was her younger brother.

She could hear Dadoong meowing at the background.

“Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world. And are you carrying Dadoong? Let me say hi!” she replied

“Okay,” Sanghyun put the phone on speakers, “Go ahead,” he told Dara

“Dadoongie! It's me, Dara. I'll see you later,” she baby talked, “Have you grown?”

“That's enough, noona. Dadoong isn't going to talk back you know. Pick me up at 7:30, noona,”

“So demanding. I'll go take a bath first,”

“Okay. Bye.” he hung up

“Silly dongsaeng.”

Dara hurriedly took a bath and even sung while doing so because of the joy she felt.

The excited noona arrived at her home around 8AM. Sanghyun was already in the living room, lying down comfortably on the couch with Dadoong on his chest.

“Finally,” he said as he shut off the tv

Dara ignored her brother and went to carry Dadoong. Sanghyun then sat up.

“Hello my baby,” she cooed, “Aren't you the cutest cat ever?” she kissed him and hugged him

“Don't suffocate Dadoong!”

“I'm not,” Dara stuck her tongue out and let Dadoong go

“Have you been waiting for me?”

“No,”

“He's lying. He's been there for an hour,” their mother came in the room

“Ommah,” Dara almost shrieked

“My dear child,” she hugged her

“How have you been?” asked Dara

“Doing well, of course. And you?”

“The same,” Dara smiled.

She stared at her mother for a good two minutes before breaking her stare. She was in awe with her mother's radiating beauty.

“Let's go,” Sanghyun interrupted them

“I just got here,” Dara said

“I'm starving,” he whined

“You two should go,” their mom told Dara

“Do you want to come with us?”

“No, it's your special time together. I don't want Sanghyun to get any more cranky,” she joked

“Ommah~,” Sanghyun pouted

“See,” she laughed

“Okay, ommah. We'll be going now,” Dara kissed her on the cheek

“You two be careful and enjoy.”

The two decided to go to Se7en's restaurant. With that decision, Dara started the car's engine to get them going.

“Hyung is coming home soon, right?” Sanghyun opened the conversation

“You're up to date with the news, I see,” Dara said while driving

“How can I not be?”

“What's that mean?”

“You're always trending, noona so I need to be updated,”

“How is that related to Se7en?”

“I need to be updated with everything,”

“Because?”

“So I know when another guy is added to your already long list of fanboys,”

Dara bursted out in laughter.

“What?”

“Guys are always declaring their love for you,”

“No, they don't,”

“Okay, admiration, crush, whatever,”

“You sound frustrated,” Dara was trying to stop her laughter

“I am! How am I suppose to protect noona?”

“Sanghyun, I am old enough to take care of myself,” Dara became serious

“I know that, but I'm still your brother,”

“Younger brother. I should be protecting you. You're leaving MBLAQ soon, right? That might cause an uproar,”

“I'm still the man of the house. I don't want to talk about that right now. It's bothersome,”

“Okay, okay, but remember that I am here if you ever need any advice” Dara glanced at him

“I know, noona. I'm thankful,” he became serious for a second, “I told you no man was good enough for you,” Dara remained silent, “But they just keep swarming around you! You're like a magnet,”

“You worry too much. Nobody is courting me,” Dara tried comforting him

“Are you sure?” he glared at her

“Don't give me that look while I'm driving,” she shivered

“Are you sure?” he repeated

“I'm more than 100% sure,” she said while using her right hand to make him look straight

“Why are you like that then?” he stared at her again

“Because you're being like that,”

“What about that Park Taehwan guy?”

“Isn't he dating someone now?”

“Oh, that info I missed. Well...”

“You have nobody else, Sanghyun. They are just fanboys,”

“I DO! DONGHAE! DONGHAE HYUNG!”

“Why are you suddenly getting so excited? Gave me a scare,” Dara was now parking

“I am sure Donghae hyung has his eye on you,” he said while taking off Dara's seatbelt before taking off his

“Thank you. And no, we're just friends,” she looked to his side but he was already out of the car walking over to her side

“Don't give me that 'we're just friends' reason,” he opened the door for her

“Thank you again,” she got off and locked the car, “But we are friends,”

“Just friends, my ,” he smirked

“Hey!”

“I said ',' that is not a cuss word,”

“But you wanted to say something else,”

“Still didn't say it outloud,”

“Fine,”

“And don't change the subject,” he put his hand on top of her head

“Aigoo, how can you do that to your noona in public?” Dara removed his hand

“Because noona is avoiding the topic that is Lee Donghae,”

“Don't say it so loud,” she put her hand on his mouth as he opened the door

“Because we are now in a public place, I won't talk about it,” he said

“Thank you,”

“We will once we get back in that car,” he teased as he chose their table.

Sanghyun pulled out a chair for her to sit in before calling a waiter over to their table. They didn't need to look over the menu. The siblings already had a regular order.

“You can't escape me today,” Sanghyun suddenly said

“Fine with me,” Dara responded.

Dara no longer argued back. She was just glad they were finally together. He could bombard her with a million questions and she wouldn't mind.

Please forgive me for the more than a month long hiatus. I was extremely busy with school. Then when break started, I was not in the mood to start typing again. I feel so rusty already in writing.
