Pairing | LuhanxDara

Luhan was dragged into a Chinese restaurant by Chen even though he had already eaten dinner.

"I'm still full, Chen," he told his friend

"But I am hungry," whined Chen as he patted his tummy

"Couldn't we have taken out instead?"

"I like the atmosphere here,"

"Fine," slouched Luhan into his seat

"What a good friend you are," Chen laughed

"You better be paying for my food," Luhan said as he picked up the menu

"Yes sir!" Saluted Chen.

Luhan skimmed through the menu while Chen already knew what he wanted. After a few minutes, Luhan decided to just order an appetizer and dessert. Chen signalled for a waitress to come.

"Good evening, sir. What may I get you?" She cheerfully greeted

Luhan was starstruck by the waitress. How could she be just a waitress ? He thought. She is gorgeous!

"Sir, what would you like to order?" She asked Luhan

Chen noticed Luhan was in a dazed state. So he kicked Luhan under the table. Oof.

"Oh, um, I would just want some of your special dessert," he finally answered

"Would that be all?"

"And right, some calamari, or a solo set,"

"Got it. Is that all?"

The two boys nodded.

"I will repeat your order.."

Luhan started to space out again. He was completely mesmerized by the waitress.

"Is that correct?" She asked

"Yes mam," Chen clicked his tongue and winked at her

"Silly Chen," she laughed as she walked away.

Luhan waited for her to reach the counter before speaking again.

"What?! She knows your name!" He semi yelled & whispered

"I am a regular here,"

"She's--"

"Gorgeous. I know. And also dating some jerk," Chen rolled his eyes

"No way. Who?"

"You sound like a teenage gossip girl right now. Well you are a pretty boy so I guess it matches,"

"Don't call me that," growled Luhan

"Um. Everything all right here, boys?" She was holding a tray with their bubbletea drinks and fortune cookies

"Yeah," the two chorused

"If ya say so,"

"Oh, um. Dara noona, this is my friend, Luhan. Dara noona, Luhan. Luhan, Dara noona,"

"Nice to meet you," said Dara

"Pleasure's all mine," Luhan replied

"How sweet," she flashed him a smile.

The two boys waited again for Dara to be at a far enough distance for them to speak.

"Don't stare. You are so obvious. Plus her boyfriend just walked in," Chen subtly looked at tge doorway

"That skinny blonde guy?"

"Funny how you say that when you too are a skinny, blonde guy,"

"Well he is uh, skinnier,"

"Look. Or don't. He's heading for her."

The two acted normal while trying to sneak a peek at the couple. Because of their seats, they had to rely more on their ears.

"What are you doing here, Kim?" Dara seemed irritated

"Babe, I'm sorry. Forgive me, please,"

"I already did,"

"So we're back together?"

"No, Kim. It means I forgive you. And I've moved on. Now leave. I'm working," she dinged for the chef, "Is the order for table 21 ready ?" She asked

"Here ya go, sweetums,"

"Thanks, Lee."

Dara ignored Kim's existence but he wouldn't leave.

"She's coming. Pretend you're busy with your fortune cookie. Hurry," Chen was panicking

Luhan opened his fortune cookie in which it read, "Take a risk for something great will happen in return."

"Here's your order, Chen,"

"Dara, come on," Kim was bugging her

"And for you, Luhan,"

"Is this guy bothering you?" Luhan stood up

"It's fine, Luhan. Don't worry about him," Dara was holding onto Luhan's arm

"Oh. Is this why you won't get back with me? You dating some pretty youngster now?"

"We just met," replied Dara

"I think you need to respect Dara's decision," Luhan was getting fired up.

Chen was looking at the manager making big eyes and pointing at the three with his head. The manager came rushing with two security guards to Kim out before a brawl occurs.

"Sorry for the inconvenience," bowed the manager

"It's okay,"

With that,the manager left.

"So sorry about that," apologized Dara, "You didn't have to jump in, but thank you. Truly a sweetheart,"

"He was being disrespectful. I had to. And no problem,"

"And now, we eat," Chen said while holding his utensils up

"I'll leave you two with that. I know Chen gets grumpy when hunger kicks in."

Chen watched Luhan watch Dara walk away.

"You have the hots for her," he was talking while chewing his food

"That is gross. Don't talk while chewing like that,"

"Don't try to change the subject," 

"I just think she's pretty,"

"No. Gorgeous,"

"Yeah,"

"So gorgeous you were going to fight another guy for her,"

"It was a spur of the moment? I don't know. I suddenly had the courage to do something like that,"

"Aww. You man-ed up,"

"I am a man,"

"Sure."

The two ate quietly after their short bicker.

When they had finished their meal, Dara immediately went over to their table to get the dishes.

"You're so fast," Luhan complimented

"Well this is my job,"

"Dara noona is the best waitress in the world," Chen added

"You two are so sweet. I'll be back. Let me just get your bill,"

"Hate to see her leave," Luhan said

"But love to watch her go," Chen teased

"Chen~"

"You were thinking it," he smirked.

Seconds later, Dara arrived with their bill on hand. Chen paid but it was Luhan that left a tip for Dara. They stood up and started walking for the door when Dara hurriedly followed them.

"Luhan," she called

"Yes?"

He turned around and received a kiss on his cheek. His eyes largened while Chen gasped.

"Mistletoe," Dara looked up, "And thank you,"

"For what?"

"For being nice and generous,"

"How did you know?"

"Chen isn't that generous,"she giggled.

Luhan blushed in embarassment.

"She got you falling in love," Chen elbowed him.
