Pairing | Kiyong x Dara

The We Broke Up cast plus Marshall Bang were enjoying the campfire along the beach, making s'mores. However Hyoni was exhausted from all of the activities they did since the day started. Marshall was the first to notice her exhaustion.

“Hyoni, do you want to hit the hay?” he asked her

“Kind of,” she yawned

“That's a yes,” he said.

Marshall stood up, gently holding on to Hyoni's elbow to help her stand.

“Aw, going already?” asked Dara, who was across from them, next to Kiyong

“She isn't used to this much activities,” Kiyong explained

“What about you?” Marshall directed the question to Beomkyu

“Oh no,” Dara was distracted, panicking

“Here, let me get it for you,” Kiyong took her stick

“I think I can still manage,” he was oblivious to what Marshall was trying to do.

Marshall went behind him and slightly hit his back with his knee while the other two were busy. Kiyong was helping Dara melt her marshmallow that almost dropped to the fire.

“Ouch,” Beomkyu glared at Marshall.

Marshall refused to speak aloud, not wanting to give way what he was trying to do for Kiyong and Dara. Instead, he kept moving his eyes to the pair and kept pointing his head for Beomkyu to leave.

“You like you're having a seizure,” Beomkyu laughed causing Dara and Kiyong to look back at them

“Come on, you're hallucinating now because of being tired,” Marshall fake laughed, forcefully pulling Beomkyu up

“But my smores,” Beomkyu whined

“Bring it,” commanded Marshall, “We'll be going you guys,”

“Should we go too?” Dara looked at Kiyong

“Can't we stay a bit longer?”

“Oh, okay,” she said, “We'll go in in awhile,” she told the three

“Goodnight,” Hyoni said, “You have a key to our room so we'll lock it, okay?”

“Okay,” Dara said, “Goodnight. Have a good night's sleep,”

“We won't stay long,” Kiyong spoke

“Oh no, you go ahead and stay as long as you want,” Marshall grinned.

The pair watched their friends head back to the cottage they were staying in.

Silence fell on the pair, but not due to awkwardness. Dara was busy observing her marshmallow melt while Kiyong was mesmerized by her curiosity.

“It's done,” stated Kiyong

“Wah, really?”

“Yeah, here let me put it in your graham cracker and you add the Hershey bar,”

“Alright.”

Kiyong took a graham cracker from its container and carefully put the marshmallow in it. He gestured for Dara to add the chocolate and another graham.

“Now push it down,” he told her

“I think I'll crack it,”

“Oh, Dara. Here, let me,” he chuckled.

He slowly pushed down the final addition of the s'more. Dara clapped her hands as if she just watched an amazing trick.

“Kiyong is the best s'more maker,” Dara gave him a thumbs up

“I take pride in it too,” he laughed.

Dara laughed with him, but Kiyong stopped being that he was captivated by her beauty. She was the most beautiful when she was in her natural state, no make up, in simple clothes. She was sporting a white with blue floral print dress.

“So stunning,” escaped his lips

“Huh? Did you say something?” Dara was finally calming down

“Nothing. Your s'more is going to get cold,”

“Oh right. Gimme,” she held out her hands as if asking for alms

“Let me,” he said for the nth time.

Dara blinked several times before understanding what Kiyong meant. He was still holding the s'more in his hand, a couple of inches away from her lips, with his other hand underneath it, in case the s'more falls apart. Dara hesitated but found the strength to lean forward, with eyes closed and lips slightly parted. Kiyong intended to feed Dara the s'more, but when she had closed her eyes, he had a different urge take over him. Dara expected her lips to land on the s'more, but felt another pair of lips crash into hers. Lips, she's been waiting to kiss her for real.
