This is a love story about two people who proved that true love will always get back together.  Thinking that their sweet teenage love would remain strong when they faced test in trying to fight for their love which was opposed by Lee Min Ho's mother and Shin Hye’s step-mother or whom she always referred to her father's first wife. Lee Min Ho's mother was planning to match him with Park Sung Keun’s first daughter, Park Eun Hye, a famous beauty in Gangnam area. Lee Min Ho however was more interested in the younger sister of Park Sung Keun’s second wife, Park Shin Hye.

Her step mother hated her for she was the product of her father and her mother whom she always referred as 'The marriage breaker’ but actually, her father and her mother were lovers when her father was forced to marry her step mother first in terms of business. Her mother was a junior to her father at the university that they were studying in. He fell for her compassion and passionate in her study but when their love was opposed by her father's elders and he was forced to marry their choice, her mother ran away to continue her study and he met her mother again a year later who became the executive officer of the company her father dealt with. Convinced not wanting to lose Park Shin Hye’s mother anymore, he married her and registered her as the second wife which to her grandparents were bringing disgrace to their family as they only want their children to marry with chaebol or very well-known family. Park Shin Hye’s mother managed to prove her ability in bringing back the falling empire of Park Shin Hye’s father’s family. Unfortunately, Shin Hye’s mother passed away after a case of high profile accident in which her father survived but was bed ridden and thus, giving the first wife partial power to the empire which were re-built by Shin Hye’s mother and her father.

They got married as soon as Shin Hye turned 20 years old and soon after she was pregnant with their child. She put her study on hold to raise her family. Because of the pressure from his mother, Min Ho decided to make a huge decision by passing his throne to his sister and decided to bring his family away from the threat of his mother and her friend who happened to be Shin Hye’s step mother. Because of his good credition, Min Ho easily found a job and even got promoted a year after. When they were about to celebrate their daughter’s third birthday. He got into an accident which caused him to lose his memory about Shin Hye. Seeing this as an advantage, his mother forced Shin Hye to divorce Min Ho and let him keep their daughter. Shin Hye brought her broken heart all the way to Jeju Island and became a teacher there with her good friend Kang So Ra. Would they ever be together again after being separated and Min Ho still not able to recognize who his wife was?
