Chapter Three

Bunny and Wolf

"Pass me the popcorn?" Hyukkie asked, not taking his eyes off the television screen infront of us. We ere on the floor infront of the television with the sofa behind us. I reached behind me, up on the seat for the bag, staring at the screen as well, and groping around. My hand touched it, and I grabbed it and gave it to him. He gave a noise of thanks and began stuffing his face with it, feeding me every so often. My mouth was open as I gaped at the screen.

"Don't open the door...don't open the door... Why the hell did you open the door? Now he can come inside! Though, if he's a vampire I doubt hell need to use a door..." I spoke to the screen and myself at random times, so he fed me more to shut me up.

"Do we have to watch this? It's scary..." I mumbled, and he grinned.

"It's my reward for being an awesome worker." He replied, and I couldn't help but sigh and shift closer to him. Say what you like, that vampire was not coming anywhere near me. Hyukkie workd at a CD and DVD shop around the corner from my house. He was a diligent worker and was never late even once. We were the same age, but he was better at doing these kinds of things than I was. At first, they were reluctant to hire a seventeen year old, but after he begged for at least three days non stop, they caved and agreed, but only for a week. After that if they weren't satisfied with his work, we was on his own. Luckily, Hyukkie took everything he did seriously, so they let him be a full time worker, especially since his eighteenth birthday was in a few months. If they made it till then wihtout anyone knowing, they would be fine.

"But does it have to be a vampire movie?" I asked, and he chuckled, just as blood splattered everywhere. I squeaked -in a manly way- and clutched his shirt -in case he was scared and needed comfort- as the woman on screen screamed.

"Hyukkieee..." I whined, and he sighed before pausing the movie with an amused smile.

"Sungminnie, the demon rabbit's getting through this quite well." He said, and it looked to see Minnie staring at the television screen with his usual happy smile on his face. I pouted.

"Maybe you should watch it with him instead of me then." I said, not realizing until he laughed how silly I sounded. I just wanted to not watch this.

"We should really be doing our homework or something." I tried again, and he raised an eyebrow.

"Whatwould that 'or something'' be?" He asked, and I shrugged.

"Not watching this." I replied with a small smile, making him laugh. He stopped the movie, and I breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Whatcha wanna watch?" He asked, and I thought for a while, before smiling.

"Frozen!" I said happily, and he groaned, turning and burying his head in his arms on the couch seat.

"Nooooo, not the little kids' cartoon!" He exclaimed. He sighed and peeked at me when I didn't respond, and flinched as he saw my glare.

"'Kids' movie'?" I repeated, and his eyes widened.

"Well, I mean- no, it's just that- well, y'know what I mean is-"

"We're watching until you say with the utmost sincerety that you love it." I said, narrowing my eyes, and he nodded.

"Okay." He quickly agreed and I grinned at him, startling him once again as I took the horror movie out and put the DVD in the player. It loaded, with me hugging Minnie happily. I hadn't noticed Hyukkie's gaze still on use with wide eyes until I turned to ask him something.

"Hey, who do you think- uh... Hyukkie?" He still had an odd look on his face as he stared at me, and I blinked.

"Okay, I'll just come back later then, since the brain of the owner of this body seems to be otherwise occupied." I said, and he snapped out of his trance like moment with a small laugh.

"No, it's just... Hah." He laughed again, and settled down again next to Minnie and I with his arm around my shoulder, and a small smile playing upon his lips.

"None of the clan members would believe this if they saw it..." He mumbled, and I looked up at him with a curious look. He had a normal expression on as he looked down at me, but I could see the panic in his eyes.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"Oooh!" I turned to the screen with a huge grin. He let out a deep breath, as if he had been holding it. I didn't think anything of it as I sang along.

"Sing along, Hyukkie!" I said, and he chuckled before joking in in whenever the chorus came around.

That night we fell asleep to 'Let It Go' playing for the third time, since he refused to say he liked it after the first two times we watched it.

The next morning, I was shaken awake by him.

"C'mon sleepyhead. We've got school again." I pouted.

"I dun wanna go." I whined, and he chuckled, poking my shoulder.

"Me neither, but we've both gotta go. That's what you told me, remember?" He replied, going off somewhere, and I frowned as I sat up.

"No, I don't remember, so can we go back to sleep?" I asked with a yawn.

"You've been spending too much time with me; you're staring to think like me." He said, his voice coming from the kitchen.

"Whatcha doin?" I asked, standing up and stretching.

"Come see." He said. Curious, I picked Minnie up and brought him into the kitchen with me, setting him on the island table thing.

"You're cooking." I observed, and he nodded, giving me an. 'Are you okay?' Kind of look, I pouted.

"I feel kind of out of it today." I muttered, and his eyes flashed with something I couldn't recognize, and he came over to me, lowering the flame on the stove.

"You're sick?" He asked, looking at me worriedly, and I just shrugged.

"Nah, I just think I'm having a lazy day." I replied, shaking my head. He narrowed his eyes at me, and then grinned brightly.

"Y'know what? I'm gonna take you somewhere." He declared, and I looked up at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"We've got school though." I said. Wasn't he the one waking me up so we could go there?

"Nope. You're not going anywhere other than where I'm taking you today." He said, and I gave a small smile.

"Where are we going?" I asked, and he put a finger to his lips.

"It's a secret." He said, and I pouted.

"That's not fair!" I whined, making him laugh and pull me into a hug.

"When we get there, your lazy day will be completely and utterly destroyed." He said, and I couldn't help but feel excited at the thought of going. I nodded enthusiastically, and he ruffled my hair.

"Get dressed, we're leaving after breakfast." He said, and I bounded off with Minnie to shower and dress. When I came back down, he had already set the table, waiting. He gave me one look and shook his head before steering me back up the stairs.

"Nope. We're not going anywhere with you looking like that." He said, and I rolled my eyes.

"What's wrong with it?" I asked, looking down at myself. He shook his head and muttered a few things under his breath. I have a feeling I should be happy that I didn't hear it. He went over to my wardrobe and looked it over. Soon, he was throwing clothes at me. I sighed.

This was going to take a while.

"This is the last one, I promise." He said, and I glared halfheartedly at him; I couldn't be mad seeing how much fun he was having dressing me up.

"That's what you said the last time, and the time before that." I reminded, and he shrugged.

"Worth it in my eyes." He said, and I groaned as he threw another shirt at me. I took the one I was wearing off and pulled this one on.

"Better?" I asked, and he inspected me, then nodded,

"Yep. Now they won't notice as fast." He said, and I tilted my head to the side, not understanding what he meant. He blinked and ruffled my hair again, pushing my head down.

"Don't do that, idiot." He muttered, leaving me completely confused. Okay...

"So, where are we going?" I asked as we went downstairs. He smiled at me as we sat at the table.

"To the place where you, dear sir, will meet my new boyfriend." He said with a grin. My jaw dropped and I launched myself at him. We both very nearly fell out of our chairs as I hugged him.

"You didn't tell me!" I accused, and he laughed, squeezing me back.

"It happened this morning, just before I woke you up," he admitted, and I grinned.

"He texted me really early this morning at around 3 or 4, telling me to call him because we had some stuff to talk about. When I did, we talked, and eventually, I asked him to meet me at the park. I tried not to wake you up, by the way, but you were clinging to me like a koala." He muttered, and I laughed sheepishly, then gestured for him to continue as I bit into my toast.

"So then we met up, and I... Yeah." He said, not looking at me at the end. I grinned at him.

"So, where is he ?" I asked, excited. Hyukkie grinned at me.

"I ain't gonna tell ya, try harder." He said, stuffing his mouth with eggs, and I smirked. I didn't wanna have to do this, but it was his idea in the first place. I looked up at him, making my eyes wide and I jutted my bottom lip out.

"Hyukkieee, please?" I asked, and his eyes widened almost comically before he shut them.

"Nuh uh."

"Please, Hyukkie?" I asked in a squeaker than normal voice, and he sent me a look which I assumed was meant to be a failed glare. When he did, though, I frowned at him and clung to his arm.

"Pretty please with strawberries dipped in chocolate on top?" I asked, and could see him cracking.

"Hyukjae? Please?" He let out a shaky breath at the use of his first name. Got him.

"At one of the clubs." He muttered, looking annoyed with himself. I grinned. I knew where he went to though I disliked going there myself.

"Oh, okay." I said, and narrowed his eyes at me.

"How could you do that to me?" He asked, pushing me off of him gently as he stood up, trying to regain some of his dignity. I laughed.

"You said I could get anything I wanted from anyone if I did it." I replied, and he rolled his eyes, ruffling his hair.

"Aish... Lee Sungmin, that's not fair !" He said, pulling me towards the door. I grinned and grabbed the house keys from the table to the right of it.

"It was your idea." I reminded, and he waved me off before opening mydoor for me to get in. He made sure my fingers and toes were in, as well as Minnie's, before slamming it shut and walking around to his side of the car, he got in and started the car. The UKiss CD we were listening to yesterday on the way to school resumed.

"-I, my, me, my, subete

kakete egaku ai no sign

sono hitomi no oku ni

hanarikomu to nukedase nai

Tada imai ni oborete

hanaaku nai

Konomama

kimi wo daite

nemuru this is forbidden love..."

Hyukkie and I sang all the way to his club. When we got there, he told me to stay in the car before he got out and opened my door for me. Rolling my eyes, I peeked over his shoulder at the building behind him, noticing it was pretty much almost empty. I guess people only come by during the night. There were a few people at the bar, staring at us as we came in. He looked around, and then pulled my by the hand towards the bartender.

"Siwon, where's Donghae?" He asked, and I giggled lightly; I could feel his palm getting sweaty. Nerves must be getting to him. The bartender was pretty good looking with short, straight black hair and a grin that reminded me of a kitten somehow. Though... This overall look reminded me of a horse, not to be rude or anything, since I liked horses (As well as any other animals you can think of) but the resemblance was uncanny. Siwon nodded.

"Yes, he is in the room at the back, Eunhyuk-nim." He replied, bowing us head respectfully. Odd. Then again, it was probably a part of his job to be polite to customers, right? Hyukkie nodded and pulled me with him without a second glance at the bartender. I rolled my eyes and called out a 'thank you' to him as I was dragged away. Hyukkie gave me an amused like before lightly pushing me towards a room at the very back of the building, I took a cautious step towards it, and knocked. Hyukkie laughed and just opened the door, with me still with my fist raised to knock. Three people turned and stared me down, I clutched Minnie tighter, and turned to give Hyukkie an accusing glare, which he returned with a smile.

"Yah!" I whisper-yelled, and he rolled his eyes with a small smirk on his face, and gestured me inside, I shuffled in awkwardly, giving nervous bows to the two who were eyeing me oddly. The other one was smiling warmly at me. Hyukkie cleared his throat and sent the other two looks I couldn't decipher the meaning of, and their eyes widened for a split second before they gave me warm but cold smiles. I'm not sure what I meant, but it gave me an odd feeling; their smiles were warm on the outside, cold on the inside. Well then, I don't like you guys either...

It was silent as I gave Hyukkie the worst glare I could muster. Which was apparently pretty damn good, as he refused to loo me in the eye. The others found this quite surprising, as their eyes were wide and mouths agape. Hyukkie seemed to have had enough of the awkward silence, and motioned for me to sit down on one of the chairs opposite the three, I narrowed my eyes at him and sat on the one closest to me; the sofa. The three of them had wide eyes as I sat, and one of them opened their mouths to say something, when Hyukkie came over and sat next to me. I was still sort of annoyed with him, so I motioned for him to go further away. He gave me a pleading look which I ignored and gestured for him to shift over to the other side. He sighed before doing so, pouting slightly, I couldn't hide the small smile that I let slip, but when he looked at me again I fixed my poker face's cracks.

All was silent as they stared at us, and I raised an eyebrow at Hyukkie. 'Well...?' I mouthed, and he grinned sheepishly at me.

"Ah. Right. Um... These are Shindong and Kangin." He said, pointing to them. The one of the right was Shindong, the one of the left was Kangin. I nodded, then liked to the one in the middle with a smile on my face. That must mean...

"So this one's Donghae?" I asked, and Hyukkie nodded, I grinned at said monkey, and turned to the two others with a bright smile.

"Uhm...could you two... Get out?" I asked, then realised how mean that sounded. They both looked shocked, then Hyukkie burst out laughing, and their eyes nearly fell out of their heads. Donghae smiled lightly at Hyukkie's laughing form. I approve. If he gets happy from hearing and seeing Hyukkie just laughing, he's a total keeper. I then stood and bowed to the other two.

"I'm sorry! It didn't sound that rude in my head!" I apologized, and I'm pretty sure Hyukkie laughed louder hearing my panicked voice, and used a random cushion to thwack him with.

"Hyukkie! Shut up!" I wailed, now forgetting about the two whose eyes were now rolling around somewhere on the floor, and teeth were somewhere next to their eyes. Hyukkie came to his senses as the fluffyness his him in the face. He blinked and looked up at me.

".... Sorry." Somehow, he doesn't sound sorry at all.

"Yeah, I can totally tell you're regretting laughing your off." I mumbled, and he grinne at me, before standing up. He held a hand out to Donghae, who took it without hesitation, and he then linked his arm with mine, pulling me out the door. I then remembered something.

"Ah'! Kangin-ssi, Shindong-ssi, I'm sorry again!" I shouted to them. We passed Siwon on our way out, and I bowed as best as I could with Hyukkie pulling me along. We got to his car, and Hyukkie leaned against it, and buried his head in his arms on the roof.

"Yah! Eunhyukkie!" I pouted as he shook with silent laughter. I turned to Donghae.

"Hi, I'm Sungmin, and I'm sorry you agreed to date him, he's an idiot." I said, and his eyes were wide, but he had a smile on his face as he stared at me and shook my hand.

"S-Stop getting to know each other better without me being there to supervise!" Hyukkie managed to choke out in between laughs, I rolled my eyes, ignoring him.

"Eunhyuk-nim has told me a lot about you." Donghae said with a childish grin, one which I returned with one of my own.

"Hae, I told you not to call me that! Call me Eunhyuk!  Even told you my real name!" We ignore him, though I was surprised but happy to hear that Donghae knows his name. (Hyukjae, not Eunhyuk)

"Really? What did he say? I hope he mentioned Minnie too." I said hopefully. Showing him the link bunny in my hands, Donghae beamed at it.

"This is the demon rabbit ?" He asked, and everything stopped as I turned to Hyukkie whose eyes were wide.

"I don't think that's quite right, Donghae." I said narrowing my eyes.

"Lee Eunhyuk. Do you want to die? " I asked calmly, staring straight into the orbs of frightened brown.

"... I'm sorry, what was the question?"

Tsk.

"Yah! You idiot, how could you tell someone that Minnie is a demon rabbit?" I scolded, slightly hurt, and he hung his head, still slightly afraid from what I could see in his eyes.

"There's a reason I care for him this much, Hyukkie." I mumbled, not intending for him to hear, it seemed as if they both heard, as said monkey pulled me into a hug while Donghae looked slightly confused.

"I know, but when I gave you the plushy, I didn't think he'd end up taking my place!" He pouted, and I chuckled.

"No one's gonna take your place, Hyukkie. Never." I said, rolling my eyes as he looked at e with a puppy expression. I turned to Donghae, pushing Hyukkie off of me.

"I take it back. I'm very happy you're dating him, so he won't be around to annoy me anymore. " I said, and he laughed, as did Hyukkie.

We stayed in front of that club for hours talking, only going into the car when it began to rain. I learnt quite a dew things about Donghae, and I've deduced he's a really nice person. His name's Lee Donghae, he's seventeen, he goes to the school a few miles away from ours, his favourite movie is Finding Nemo, his nickname's 'Fishy', he loves fish, he's got a dog named Bada, his birthday's on October 15th, he likes playing football (NOT American football -which is actually rugby- but proper football; the one where you okay with your feet, like yore supposed to), he can play the guitar and he likes strawberries. Well, I see how they like each other now. I'm really happy that Hyukkie's got him.

Aaand Lee Donghae has been introduced!!

Tell me if you liked it? I hope you did
