Chapter Eleven

Bunny and Wolf

"Sungminnie, I can't just let him roam the streets for the rest of eternity." Hyukkie said, and I sighed, giving a subtle glance at Kyuhyun, still sitting at the table, from where Hyukkie and I were whisper-yelling to each other in a far corner of the kitchen, only to find he was staring right at me. I gave him a questioning look, but he simply turned away. I suppose he wasn't too comfortable with the person he was trying to kill asking for his release.

"Why not?" I asked, and he gave me an incredulous look.

"Because he's dangerous, Sungmin!"

"As are you, and the rest lf the coven. Hell, I'm dangerous - to an extent." I shot back, and he groaned, a frown marring his features.

"It's not the same, Sungmin. Kyuhyun hunts and kills humans for sustenance. We don't know when he might suddenly go crazy and attack a random passerby!" He exclaimed, and I raised an eyebrow. This was his argument?

"Hyukkie, you can't possibly be serious. You do realise that if we don't let him go, he'll go crazy a hell of a lot faster with the scent of the person he wants to kill and your own scent in the same building, all over the place, everywhere he turns? And when he suddenly does go crazy, I'm the only human withing five miles of this place. He's been doing fine on his own concerning is hunting habits when we weren't involved; he can take care of himself." I lectured, and Hyukkie ran a hand through his red locks, groaning again. He knew I was right.

"Fine. Under one condition." He said, and I smiled and hugged him. I could feel his annoyance with me dissipating as he hugged back, chuckling.

"He has to practice his self restraint, and get used to drinking animal blood, because if he ever loses control anywhere near here -which I hope to god won't happen, else I'll kill him myself- he can just run to the forest with whatever shred of sanity he has left and then he can hunt there instead of sniffing you out." He said, and I 'hmm'ed as I pulled away. I scrunched my nose up as I thought. It wasn't really my decision to make, it was Kyuhyun's, so I turned around, and saw him death glaring at Hyukkie. That might not ever stop, but at least they weren't trying to kill each other.

"Kyuhyun-ssi? Could you...?" I waved him over, and he stood immediately, coming over and standing next to me as he glared at Hyukkie, who returned it. This could take a while before I get used to it, much less until they stop.

"Kyuhyun-ssi, we-"

"Kyuhyun. Just... Kyuhyun." He muttered, staring at the ground, and I blinked, before nodding with a small smile, not noticing the way Hyukkie's eyes narrowed dangerously at the vampire next to me.

"Oh, okay, Kyuhyun then," I started, seeing his lips twitch into a very -VERY- small smile before it disappeared. "You can leave if you like, but Hyukkie says you have to stay and practice your self restraint in case you decide to eat me." I said bluntly, and his gaze snapped to me, with wide eyes, and Hyukkie facelpalmed, but chuckled dispite himself.

I'm not one to sugar coat it if it's something like this, in case you've not noticed as yet.

"Okay..." Kyuhyun said, and I grinned. He gave me a small smirk, and I continued.

"And you have to get used to animal blood too. 'Cause y'know, if you do, at any time, decide you want to eat me, Hyukkie says you should have a little of your sanity left to make sure you go to the forest and hunt there." I finished, and his smirk fell as he glared at a smirking Hyukkie. He didn't respond, and  I pouted lightly. Was he not going to agree?

"So will you, Kyuhyun?" I asked, and he tore his gaze away to look at me. I think he was thinking really hard about it, because he was staring at me, doing nothing else, until I asked if he was okay. He blinked and nodded.

"Yeah. I'll do it." He said, and I smiled happily at him. As I spun around to leave the room and find a place for him to sleep, I barely noticed the red tint on his face and awkward grin plastered onto his lips. When I chanced another look at him though, both were gone.

"Wookie, could you change the lights, I think they're making me see things." I mumbled as I left the room with Kyuhyun and Hyukkie. Ryeowook was next to me in an instant, giving me a small smile.

"Wookie?" I turned to see Yesung with an amused smile on his face as he smirked mockingly at Ryeowook, who narrowed his eyes at him. I... Am confused.

"What?" I asked, and he simply smirked wider, shaking his head.

"Nothing, Sungminnie." He said, and I shrugged, nodding.

"Okay then. Yeye, I have a favour to ask." I said, suddenly thinking of something. The room then froze, and everyone turned to us. I froze as well, confused. I don't know why I stopped so suddenly, but everyone turned at the same time, really freaking me out. The only sound was Ryeowook laughing with his hand over his mouth as he fell to his knees and pounded on the wall next to him.

"Sungminnie, I think you've caused enough trouble in here, let's go?" Hyukkie said, gently tugging my hand towards the living room door, guiding me out of the room, just as I heard Ryeowook's yelp and Yesung's maniacal laugh.

"I'm not sure what just happened, but was it my fault?" I asked. Neither Hyukkie nor Kyuhyun said anything as we listened to the others in the living room laugh as we walked through the halls. I then 'hmm'ed, thinking. My eyes lit up as I thought of the perfect solution that wouldn't bother anyone in the mansion.

"Hyukkie, can-"

"Nope." Darn it.

"But-"

"We're letting him sleep in a proper room, but definitely not what you're thinking." He said. I pouted and looked at Kyuhyun who was watching us with curious eyes.

"I was hoping we could just share my room since you won't be bothering anyone else in the house then, but Hyukkie's being mean, so we can't." I explained, and he looked away after nodding in understanding.

"Why?" He asked, and I shrugged, shaking my head.

"I think he just doesn't like you, well, I know he doesn't, considering your pasts, but you're not going to kill me or anything, are you?" I asked rhetorically, and both he and Hyukkie stopped walking suddenly.

"Um... What?" I mumbled, and they both gave me odd looks.

"Of course he-"

"No."

I grinned at Hyukkie's confused yet shocked expression as Kyuhyun spoke.

"See?"

"And you trust him?"

"Yep."

"You're an idiot."

"I know."

"Then why?"

"Because he hasn't killed me yet. Not even attempted to."

"That's not convincing."

"Because him right now reminds me of when you-" oh damn. I cut myself off, and Hyukkie looked up at me sharply.

"Nevermind." I said quietly, and he glared at the floor, and we were silent as he resumed walking. I gestured for Kyuhyun to come along, and he did, awkwardly. Quite understandable; we keep having personal fights in front of him. I can't imagine how much he feels out of place.

Hyukkie suddenly stopped in front of us, and we exchanged glances as he turned around to look at us. He placed a hand on the wall next to what I recognized as my room, and- woah.

"Um... That door wasn't there before, was it?" Hyukkie snorted lightly, giving me an amused look before he turned back to the door and opened it, then gestured for us to go in. I stood back, to let Kyuhyun go first, but said vampire stayed where he was and simply gave me a pointed look, so I went first. Hyukkie then came in afterwards, and Kyuhyun followed. I looked around, smiling lightly at the room. It was really nice, and seemed a lot like mine. Hyukkie glared at Kyuhyun before looking at me with a small but proud smile on his face, seemingly expectant.

"It's awesome. Thank you, Hyukkie." I said, and his small smile grew into a full blown one, gums and all, making me smile as well, and I turned to Kyuhyun. For once he wasn't glaring holes into Hyukkie's face, but this time he was looking at me with an unreadable expression on his face. I couldn't help but inwardly squeal. I feel like he's gonna be my new room mate. It was exciting.

"So, do you like it, Kyuhyun?" I asked, and he blinked before nodding once. I got excited all over again, and was bouncing in my shoes. Hyukkie rolled his eyes as Kyuhyun's followed me up and down as I practically vibrated on the spot.

"It's your room, and it's next to mine, in case you need anything, okay? I doubt you'll want to know, but Hyukkie's room is on the other side of mine." I said and he nodded, rolling his eyes as I added the last part. Hyukkie seemed to be thinking hard, as he suddenly looked up at me, with a huge smile on his face, clearly surprising Kyuhyun.

"You do realize what this means, Kyuhyun?" He asked, practically spitting out the said vampire's name. I gave hi. A nudge, and a disapproving look, making him sigh and pout lightly, again shocking Kyuhyun.

"What, Hyukkie?" I asked as he came and back hugged me. Really, Hyukkie? Darn giant teddy bear. I just figured I was imagining the chill I felt as Kyuhyun glared harder at Hyukkie, thinking it was just because they were actually speaking to each other and not through me this time.

"You must go to school with us as a form of your self restraint." He said, animee relying tone of sheer evil us Kyuhyun's eyes narrowed dangerously.

"I don't do school." He said simply and I frowned. But it would be mor fun at school if Kyuhyun comes along too. That, and it was, as Hyukkie said, a good way for him to start learning how to hold back.

"Why not?" I asked, and he gave me an unreadable expression as I looked at him.

"...Do you want me to?" He asked quietly, and I nodded. He closed his eyes and let out a breath before nodding. My eyes widened, I hadn't expected him to actually agree? Yessssss!

"This is great! Don't bother with anything, I'll get you enrolled and everything." I said, going towards the door, grinning at him. His eyes shifted from me to Hyukkie and he opened his mouth to stay something, then blinked and didn't bother.

"I'll be back soon, you two don't kill each other and try to get along! Donghaeee!" I trilled everything in a rushed sentence, shouting through the mansion as I searched for said Nemo loving vampire.

(With Kyu and Hyuk)

"What are you playing at, Kyuhyun?" Hyukjae asked, making the other glare at him.

"Nothing. What are you playing at, sending me to school?" Kyuhyun shot back, scoffing at the end. The mere thought of being in a classroom with humans and a boring lefturer at the front of the room was just making him disgusted with the whole idea.

"I don't trust you. Not around anyone, much less my Sungminnie." Hyukjae responded, cold and cynical. Kyuhyun's eyes narrowed and glinted dangerously.

"Yours? Him? That human has more control over you and your own coven than you do. And it's fine; the feeling's mutual, murderer." The other spat at him, enjoying the way Hyukjae's anger flared.

"Watch your tongue, rogue." Kyuhyun's eyes hardened.

"Being rogue wasn't a choice I made. I had a coven which prospered until you killed them all, along with the traitor." Hyukjae growled dangerously.

"Don't you dare speak of Kangin as if she was the one in the wrong."

"He betrayed us. More than half of the coven realized they were being used to try and go up against you, but they still fought with us. He didn't. He left." Hyukjae had trouble believing that more than half of their enemies knew they were doing wrong as they attacked.

"We knew those old vampire bats were feeding us lies, and father was a fool for believing them," Hyukjae's eyes widened ever so slightly pin hearing Kyuhyun speak of his beloved father in such a way.

"But he was our leader; what he said was what happened. Without question. So we fought. We all fought because of our dedication and loyalty to him, and you slaughtered them all." Kyuhyun was beyond mad now, his eyes flickering between dark brown and red.

"Why?" The other asked, processing his words, Kyuhyun scoffed.

"Stupid question. Would your coven members not do as you asked, even if it meant their lives?" Hyukjae had no response; he knew it was true, that they would. Any one of them would easily lay their own lives down for him, and he, for them.

He hadn't realized that other covens were just as his was- a family. His eyes widened as it finally dawned on him how the other had felt; he had killed this person's entire family and not cared.

(Sungmin)

"Sungminnie? What is it?" Donghae asked, pausing the movie he was watching in favour of turning to look at me. My huge grin seemed to have startled him, as he gave me an  de look before smiling himself.

"What's got you so happy?" He asked, and my grin grew wider, if possible.

"Cmin, I need your help with this, cause I've never done it before." I said, pulling him from his sofa. He whined, but I dragged him off of it anyway, going straight through the double doors at the front of the house.

"Hae and I are going out, someone watch Hyukkie and Kyuhyun! I mean it, I don't care if he sends you away, stay and watch them!" I shouted as the doors swung shut by themselves. I heard Donghae chuckle lightly, and he pulled his hand out of Hume, setting his hands on my shoulders.

"Will you tell me where you're dragging me to?" He asked.

"We're going to enroll Kyuhyun in school." I said, and he blinked.

"How...? Why?" He mumbled as we walked to Hyukkie's car. I then realised I had left Minnie in Kyuhyun's room. Oops. I quickly went to the window under Kyuhyun's room and shouted.

"I forgot Minnie, can someone throw him down?" There was nothing for a little while until I saw Kyuhyun's smirking face at the window, then he looked annoyed and his face disappeared and was replaced by Hyukkie's. He opened the window and threw Minnie out. My eyes widened. I wasn't going to catch him in time. I blinked as Donghae was suddenly in front of me with Minnie in hand, smiling at me.

"Gotta learn how to do that." I made a note to myself as I took it from him with a small bow as thanks. I looked back up to the window to see Kyuhyun staring at us. I waved with a smile, and he sent a small smile back at me, hesitantly raising a hand to wave as well. Donghae then started Hyukkie's car, reminding me where we were going. I got into the passenger seat after buckling Minnie up in the back seat, and he drove off towards the school.

It took us about ten minutes to get there. Going at 25MPH was kind of not what Hyukkie usually drives like (much slower than what Hyukkie drives like) but I suppose Donghae liked being careful. Now I'm even happier Hyukkie's got him to keep him from crashing into something. Donghae pulled up outside the empty school parking lot, and we both got out, me taking Minnie out of the back seat carefully and shutting the door. The locks on the doors clicked as Donghae locked them with the remote, and we then entered the school. I led him to the receptionist, kind of surprised she was here on a Saturday. She was chewing her gum in apt he way Hyukkie would when he wanted to annoy me with the sound, it was disgusting, really, but she was a stranger, so I ignored it. I cleared my throat as we approached the desk, and sh sighed, making sure we heard before she turned around in her swivell chair. Her eyes widened as she saw Minnie and I. Donghae was a little to my left, so I knew she wasn't gaping at him. Grr. 'Yes, I am indeed Sungmin, if you want an autograph, ask Hyukkie first.' I almost chuckled out loud as I recalled what Hyukkie told me to say if anyone stared at me because of my...incident.

"Lee Sungmin-ssi...nim. Ah, w-what brings you to school today?" She stuttered, and I couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

"We're here to enroll someone." I replied, and eyes flickered to Donghae. I noticed the toucsh on her cheeks immediately, as did Donghae. HE shifted uncomfortably as she eyed him, then turned back to me.

"Is it him?" She asked, the underlying tone of doubtless hope in  her voice made me almost laugh as her expression fell when I shook my head.

"No, I go to the school a few miles away." He said, and she nodded, looking disappointed.

"Um... I need- ah. Do you have a picture of the student?" She asked, and I blinked, then shook my head.

"Not right now, no." I said, giving Donghae a side glance. He shook his head as well, and I frowned slightly.

"Hyukkie will come and give it to you on Monday." I said, and he eyes widened before she nodded, typing some things into her computer. She then reached for a pile of forms on her desk, and looked through them until she found what she wanted and gave it to me.

"Please fill out the form." She said meekly, going back to her typing. I nodded and reached over for a pen, rolling my eyes as she flinched. I gave Donghae the 'tell you later' look as he raised a questioning eyebrow at me.

I read over the form, filling out as much as possible.

Well, I certainly know a lot about him. Granted, medical details are hardly needed for friendship, even though Hyukkie and I knew each other's works, but still...

"Can Hyukkie bring this back on Monday as well?" I asked as I gave her the pen back. There was no way I could submit it like this - half blank; I was just asking for us to be hunted down by the police.

"Well, you're not supposed to, but Sungmin-ssi can..." She managed to speak without stuttering, and I smiled at her, stunning her momentarily. 'Why?' You ask? I don't know either.

"Thanks then." I said, and Donghae nodded his thanks to her as well, then we left, getting back into the car and waiting until I had buckled Minnie up in the backseat and got into my side befor rounding on me.

"What was all that about, 'Lee Sungmin-ssi'?" He asked with an amused expression as he backed out of the parking lot and turned towards home. I groaned.

"Gosh, it sounds worse when someone says it without fear," I said sarcastically, making him laugh.

"well, long story short, Hyukkie fights like a boss so he got ared by the whole town, more or else's, and I'm not that far behind, sending someone to the hospital because he decided to take Minnie away from me." I said, and he 'oh'ed with a small smile. Another ten minutes later, we were back at the mansion, and I had just finished unbuckling Minnie from tha back seat and slammed the door when a blur of black and white came barreling toward me. I blinked, then grinned.

"Hyukkie... I guess you missed me?" I asked, amused as he hugged the life out of me.

"You made Kangin and Leeteuk follow me and that bastard around for an forty seven minutes straight, Sungminnie. How could you be so cruel?" He asked, giving me a betrayed look. I looked to Donghae for help, but he simply stared at his boyfriend with a small, amused smile on his face, I sighed and pried Hyukkie off of me as the three of us made our way up the stone steps to the double doors of the mansion.

"It's not like you're dead or anything, calm down." I said, then flipped him off as he gave me a look. The one that said 'yes, yes I am indeed a dead person'. He laughed, and the doors opened for us to go in. I looked around the room to find Leeteuk was the one who had opened up for us, and sent him a smile as thanks as he nodded to me, then bowed to Hyukkie, I rolled my eyes as every other vampire in the room did the same thing and went upstairs to find Kyuhyun.

I was about to knock on his bedroom door when I saw mine was slightly ajar. Curious, I peeked in to find Kyuhyun asleep on my bed. I wrinkled my nose, slightly confused. He has a bed of his own right next door.l. Why was he here? I moved to wake him up, but decided against it. He had been beaten up by Kangin and Leeteuk not to long ago, and had gone through quite a lot in one day, so I decided to let him sleep. I pulled the blanket over his sleeping form as gently as I could, and closed the curtains. He should sleep as much as he can, and the light from the window tomorrow morning would probably wake him. I then left, closing the door behind e, when I turned around, Hyukkie was behind me. I squeaked in surprise, and he laughed. I 'shh'ed him.

"Kyuhyun's asleep." I whispered, and he frowned.

"In your room?" He asked, and I nodded, shrugging.

"Yah. It's fine, I'll just sleep in his room tonight then," I said, and he shook his head,

"Nah, you can just sleep with me." He said, and I 'hmm'ed, before smiling as I remembered the receptionist from earlier. I recounted her open gawking at Donghae, and his eyes grew dark with something I couldn't identify, and he left, ruffling my hair, calling for Donghae. When said vampire appeared at his side before he could go very far, they exchanged a few words, and Donghae's accusing gaze snapped to me as I avoided it, innocently looking at the pretty white paint of the wall across from me.  After they talked for a few mor seconds, I heard Hyukkie growl deep in his throat and he pulled Donghae into his room, locking the door with a 'click'. I shuddered. Ew.

So, that's another chapter done! This is being uploaded now because I'm happy I got the cover done! I'm also really, really, really, REALLY happy with the feedback I'm getting from you guys, I'm just so... Asdfghjkl. You have no idea. In celebration of Kyuhyun's POV being so popular, I think I'm gonna do it again next chappy.
