Baekhyun seemed to have returned to normal, or at least, perfected his pretense once again, by the time they were done with lunch. After promising to have another meal again soon with together with Sehun, Se Ryeong parted ways with HyunA and Kris and got on Baekhyun’s car. He had already plugged in his phone and was humming along to Se Ryeong’s favorite song.
“Has this become your favorite song too or something?”
Baekhyun only shrugged as he carefully steered them onto the roads. “It’s a good song and it’s very catchy.”
“I could actually recommend you a playlist of songs if you asked y’know, cause this song on loop for the whole day? Don’t you get tired of it?” Se Ryeong made a move to pick up Baekhyun’s phone and he let her, smiling when he heard her nails tapping against the screen of his phone to fix up a playlist.
“I mainly listened to classical music before this. I guess it was part of my parents’ training me to become more sophisticated or whatever, but it helped me concentrate so I stuck with it.”
“Do you play instruments?” Se Ryeong looked up from the phone. “Or what else did your parents train you in?”
“I used to go for piano lessons with Sulli, though she dropped out pretty fast and enrolled into a drama class. I stayed on till Jong In came along.”
Knowing she was treading on dangerous waters again and not wanting to dampen the mood, Se Ryeong placed the phone back down after hitting play for the new playlist she had created. A catchy Kpop song immediately came on and took Baekhyun by surprise.
“I wasn’t expecting that.”
“Do you think you know everything about me?” Se Ryeong smirked.

Baekhyun was a surprisingly good singer even if Se Ryeong wasn’t a particularly good judge, and he seemed to have decided that he liked Girls Generation the best out of the songs Se Ryeong had selected for him. It was funny really to see the businessman sing along to a girly pop tune. Baekhyun only stopped singing when Se Ryeong undid her seat belt to get off. “Thanks for the ride back!”
“So, lunch tomorrow?” Baekhyun grinned.
“Yes, so please don’t do anything stupid again.” Baekhyun chuckled at that and waited to see her walk into the building before driving off.
