Rachel POV

Amber and I sat backstage while TVXQ performed. Our first stop on tour was almost over. Performing in Japan was one big change and such a great experience. Once the song ended..

"Time to say goodbye" a man ran up to us and pushed us out on stage again. Next thing I know, I'm face to face with 100,000 Japanese TVXQ fans.

"A great big round of applause for our good friends, Equinox!" Changmin said into his microphone, which made the audience cheer louder. I felt so loved.. And accepted.. I couldn't help but smile and wave.. Nothing else mattered..

When the concert was officially over and we left safely, Amber and I made it back to our new apartment, which was in the same building as Yunho's and Changmin's. 

"Do you really think we need an actual apartment?" I asked Amber again. Honestly, I didn't think it was needed. 

"Of course. We are coming to Japan more often after this aren't we?" she smiled when she looked over at me in the car. I just shrugged and looked out the window at all the pretty lights.

Yunho POV

It was finally time to go to sleep after a long day of work. Amber and Rachel had just moved in a floor below us. They were merely a few steps away. 

I decided to look out my window until I fell asleep, but it was no use. I just couldn't sleep. I have no idea what to do.. "Maybe I should let some fresh air in.." I thought as I opened the window just a crack.. After a few minutes passed. 

"Yah... Close the window.. It's way too cold" I heard Changmin groan as the freezing November air filled the room. "Sorry.. I just needed a little fresh air.." I apologized.. When I got up to close the window, I heard music.. It was such, sad, emotional music. I could hear a piano, accompanied by violins and cellos.. 

"Who could be playing such wonderful, yet sad music?"

That's the only I could use to describe what I was hearing... Sad.

But I wanted to listen some more.. I have to find out where that music is coming from..

I closed the window and left the apartment to walk around the building. I listened as well as I could. But the music had seemed to come to an end.. "Maybe it was someone in the building next to us.." I thought

Just when I was about to head back to my apartment, I heard it again.. The sad music.. It was back..

"God, I really hope I'm not hearing things.."

I inched closer to the source of the music, bit by bit, the volume of the music in my ears got louder and louder with almost each step I took. Soon enough, I found myself standing in front of a door to an apartment. The front door was slightly cracked open. I looked up at the number.. Room 889..

This is.. Rachel and Amber's new apartment..

I invited myself in, for the sad music was drawing me in more and more. Strange.. Why would something so depressing draw my attention so easily? 

I walked around the kitchen, then the small living room. Finally I peeked into their shared room and saw Rachel sitting on her bed. She was holding her legs close to her, her knees at her chin. She looked down at something on her bed.. Looked like.. Pictures?

Suddenly, a small tear fell from her eye as she couldn't take her eyes off of the pictures that were spread across her bed in front of her.. The only thing I could assume was that the pictures were of her and Onew. 

I listened to the music and closed my eyes.. Taking me over and flushing all of my thoughts away.. The music put me in a whole new world.. Of release, but also pain. Pain that I couldn't feel first hand.. I could feel Rachel's pain through the music..

Then, the music stopped and I opened my eyes. And there I was, back in reality. I stood in the doorway. Rachel had turned off the music, and was looking at me

"What are you doing here?" she asked. I couldn't find a good enough answer. 

I decided to approach her. It wasn't until I got closer that I realized that the pictures were indeed of her and Onew.

"Please... Don't look at these.." I begged her and gathered all the pictures up. I shoved them into the cupboard in her nightstand and sat down next to her on her bed. "You're only hurting yourself more"

"What am I supposed to do? Forget about him completely?" she asked still teary-eyed. "No.. But stop reminding yourself. It's not good" I pleaded.

She nodded her head. "That music.. It's beautiful.." I blushed and looked down. "You like it?" she asked silently. 

Rachel POV

"That music.. It's beautiful" Yunho looked down and said. He seemed embarrassed to enjoy such music. But I was surprised. "You like it?" I asked in almost a whisper, which was all I could make out since my tears made it harder to speak. Yunho looked into my eyes. The only light I had was my nightstand lamp, which lit only half of his face. He made a half-smile and reached for my face. He cupped my cheek with his hand and rubbed my eyes of all the tears. I felt a warmness in my heart. "Yes.. I love it.. It's so soothing" he confessed to me. I smiled and held onto his hand that was caressing my cheek. He lowered his hand and stood up, ready to walk out. But something triggered in my head and I grabbed his arm before he could leave. I didn't want him to go.. 

"Don't leave" I whispered, more tears falling once again at the thought of me being alone again.. I couldn't take the silence, mixed with the sad music that I was torturing myself with.. I couldn't take another night of complete lonliness.. 

"I know I sound strange.. But please.. Stay" I said. He looked towards the door while I looked up at him. I waited for him to make his decision. 

I squeezed his hand tight, just in case this was the last time we'd make physical contact for the rest of the night. Finally he looked down at me and sat down next to me again. He decided to stay with me. 

"I will not go back on my promise.. I'll never leave your side" he sighed and brought me into a warm embrace. Knowing that he wouldn't leave brought more tears of joy to my eyes. I cried into his shirt like a little girl. I felt my whole being shake with sadness.. "I n-ne-ed you now-w.. I m-ight have pu-ushed you b-back before.. But now I need you-u" I tried making out my words through my cries. 

"Well you've got me" he said rubbing my back in slow circles, which made my tense state loosen. His touch made me feel like I was floating

Soon, he laid me down next to him and wrapped the blanket around the both of us. The first genuine warmth I felt since the cold season began. I always felt so cold.. So so cold. But now I could feel warmth once again with Yunho by my side..

"Shhh.. It's okay.." he whispered to me.. He brought me closer and closer until he was as close as he could get. He my arm slowly and I closed my eyes. I felt him lay one hand down on my waist gently. I didn't know what to touch. I finally laid my hand down lightly on his neck.. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes

Yunho POV

Like my mother would always do to calm me down, I her arm slowly and she finally stopped crying. I felt my heart smiling.

I didn't know if it was the right thing to do, but I laid one of my hands down on her waist and pulled her as close to me as I could. 

I started to feel my eyelids get heavy when I felt a small petite hand touch my neck. My nerves finally stopped working and I started to drift away. "Get good sleep, Rachel.." I whsipered. I took one more deep breath and my sense of sight and hearing start to fade. I had fallen asleep, but not before I heard Rachel whisper back. "I will.."

Amber POV

"Rachel?? I got the stuff we need to bake that cake I wanted to try.." I called out to Rachel. Our front door was wide open.. Strange. I put down all of the groceries on the table and listened for any noise.. But I heard nothing. "Rachel?" I called out again. Maybe she fell asleep

I checked our room.. She was sleeping. 

I took a deep breath of relief and left the room to get ready for bed too. When I had put all of our groceries away, changed into all of my pajamas, and brushed my teeth, I crawled into bed slowly and stretched. I reached for the lamp to turn it off. I glanced over at Rachel for a second. 

Wait..

What? 

I sat up in bed and looked at what was next to Rachel.. It's a person

It's Yunho...

"HEY!!!" I screamed and kicked the bed, making them both jump. "What do you think you're doing here?? Cuddling up with her!" I yelled. I was so angry. Yunho thought that he could just walk in and sleep in our room.. I couldn't believe him.

"Amber, calm down" he stood up and started creeping closer to the door. Thankfully, he was still fully dressed, and so was Rachel. 

"No! I won't calm down! Sicko! Get out!" I ordered him out.. And within the next second, Yunho was gone, and Rachel was standing behind me. I turned around to her. She looked... Angry..

Rachel POV

"No! I won't calm down! Sicko! Get out!" she screamed at Yunho. He ran out of the room as fast as a lightening bolt 

Why would Amber think that?? The situation does LOOK bad, but she should know that he wouldn't do that! Does she know anything??

I stood up from my bed and looked at the back of her head, waiting for her to turn around... 

She finally looked at me and her expression went from fumed.. to frightened. 

"Rachel... I know you're pissed.. But what were you doing with him?" she asked..

"I can't believe you would think such things! Nothing! There's nothing going on between us!"

"Yet.."

"You don't do that! You don't boss people around! You don't tell me what I can and can't do! I'm the leader and you're the maknae!"

After I yelled at her, she looked down and sighed. "I'm sorry. You're the leader. That was just my motherly instinct I guess. We both have it you know. I just show it more.......... It's because of Andrew" Amber explained her excuse.

I sighed and shook my head. "You can't blame this on him... What am I going to do with you?" I asked

"I just needed someone with me. Since you weren't here. I hate being alone.. You know this"

"I do know this. And I'm sorry. I won't leave you alone anymore. And if I do, I guess Yunho will take care of you. But I'm telling you, take your time. The heartbreak you're feeling is still fresh"

"I'll decide when I'm ready for a relationship again.. And that's final" I ended the conversation and laid back in bed. I put my hand down where Yunho was just laying, still warm. "I'll just pretend you're here, I guess" I thought.

Yunho POV

"I'll decide when I'm ready for a relationship again... And that's final" Rachel said while I listened from outside their room. Soon, the lights in their room were shut off and everything was dark.. Maybe I shouldn't have listened.. Because now I have questions..

I sneaked out of the apartment and started walking back to my apartment. As I walked, I felt where Rachel laid her hand down on my neck. 

There was only one question that I needed an answer to..

"Who's Andrew?"

Changmin POV

"Yobseyo?" Amber said into her cell phone. She had just gotten a phone call from home. "Let me listen" I asked of her, and she put it on speaker phone.

"Is your fridge running?" the person on the other line asked. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Than I better go catch it.. Very funny. Who is this?" Amber asked coldly. "No, I was gunna say that's impossible cause fridge's don't run" the kid on the other line laughed. We could other people in the back laughing with him. "Who. Is. This?" Amber asked again. 

"Wouldn't you like to know.." the kid on the other line giggled. I grabbed the phone from her hands. "We're hanging up now" I said and put my finger above the 'end call' button. "Wait!" the kid yelled. 

At that moment, Yunho walked up and saw the situation. He laughed and took the phone from my hand. "Yobseyo?" he talked into the phone. "What?" the guy on the other end said. Yunho rolled his eyes. "I know who it is... It's Luhan" he smiled.

"We got caught" Luhan said to the people in the back. We heard a lot of "Awww man's" 

"Hyung, you're so good at that! Teach me your ways" another voice said into the phone. "Sorry Jong-In.. I'm out of town. When I get back though" Yunho smiled as he talked to the EXO members. "It's Kai now. And okay" Kai said, then hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" Rachel said behind us. She was wearing a really pretty jacket and shoes. "Cute outfit" I blurted out. "Did I just say that out loud?" 

"Yes, you did.. And thank you, lovely" she smiled. I gotta say, after a lot of crying and mourning, Rachel seems happier and more in tune. I looked over at Yunho, who couldn't take his eyes off of her. "Well, compliment her!" I ordered my hyung. He looked over at me shocked. "Why all of a sudden??" he asked

His question made me roll my eyes. "Because she looks cute today. Say something" I said again. 

"I think you look gorgeous today" Amber winked. "That's great... Hyung...?" I waited for Yunho to say something. But he seems sorta speechless. Why wouldn't he be? Rachel's really pretty and he likes her. 

Yunho started to blush and he raised his hand up to his face. I laughed and so did Amber. Rachel smiled and just stood there. "You don't have to say anything" Rachel giggled and started walking past us to the car.

"You look beautiful!" Yunho blurted. Rachel turned around slowly. "Thank you, Yunho. You look nice today too" she blushed. Wait.. Rachel's blushing.

SO CUUUUUUTE! 

I think I'm having my gay moment for the day..

Rachel POV

Today, the four us were planning a day to spend together in Japan. We had nothing planned other than just walk around..

I was standing around in a shopping mall, looking at clothes when Amber rushed up to me. "Rachel Rachel Rachel! Can we do this today??" she smiled and raised up an ad for a new outdoor ice skating rink. 

ICE SKATING???

Soon after Amber showed up, Yunho and Changmin ran up too both at Amber's sides.

"YES YES YES LET'S DO IT!!!" I screamed. I love ice skating...

While we followed the directions to the rink, I saw that we walked by a.. stage theater.. 

My legs stopped working and I was stuck in one spot. Staring up at the huge building.. I could only imagine what it looks like inside. 

Then I felt something nudge my arm.. "Rachel? Is everything okay?" I heard Yunho ask me

Yunho POV

I looked down at the directions on the paper with Amber when I felt something had changed. I looked around and I couldn't see Rachel.. "Where is she?" I thought quickly, then saw her staring up at a building. I looked at the entrance and realized that it was a theater. 

I decided to walk up to her. "Rachel? Is everything okay?" I poked her in the arm. At first, she didn't answer. I poked her one more time. She looked over at me. "Huh?"

"Do you like theater?"  I asked.

"I.... love it.. Honestly."

"I like theater too. It's really fun to watch"

"It's an art"

"You think so?"

Our whole conversation, we didn't look at each other, just at the building

"I know so..."

"Do you wanna see a play?"

"YES!!... But we're going ice skating" 

"We can do that some other time.. Let's see a play.." I proposed.

"Really???" she smiled and clapped her hands together. "Yeah.. Maybe we can go ice skating tomorrow" I smiled and made a hole in my arm so she can put her arm through. "Shall we?"

When we were in the theater, we found out that there was another act starting in twenty minutes.

"We got lucky, I guess" she smiled. While we waited in line. I looked over at her. She looked like she was thinking of something hard. "What are you thinking about?"

"I just remembered.. Today is America's Thanksgiving" she looked up at me with wide eyes. "Really? That's cool. I wonder if your brother is going to celebrate"

"He will. He loves to eat" she giggled and looked ahead in line. Just then, I got a phone call from Changmin

"Yobseyo?"

"Where did you guys go?? We've been looking everywhere for you!" he yelled into the phone. And now I must take the wrath of my maknae. "Sorry. Rachel wanted to see a play.. You go on without us" I tried to clam him down. "Next time, please tell us.. Me and Amber are going to go eat lunch. Later" he said shortly before hanging up

Amber POV

"What did they say?" I asked Changmin when he turned his phone off. "They're gunna go see a play because Rachel wants to.. I swear. It's as if they're already dating" he sighed. "I know right.. So lunch then?" I smiled. He just nodded his head. I started walking towards the nearest restaraunt while he followed close behind me.

"He what??" Changmin yelled out when I told him that I found Yunho and Rachel sleeping together in the same bed last night.

"Yupp, I was shocked too. You better put a leash on that man" I joked around and slurped up more spaghetti. Changmin rolled his eyes. "Like that'll work. When Yunho wants something, or someone in this case, he can't be stopped" he sighed and pulled a breadstick out of the small basket on the table. "Well, then I guess we'll just sit back and watch fate work its magic.. Unless you're against them being together" I said.

Changmin shook his head. "No! Of course not. I think they're adorable together. I just think it's too soon for Rachel to start dating again after her break up" he explained.

"That's what I keep telling her!" I blurted out. Finally, someone agrees with me!

"Speaking of relationships, how are you and Key-goon?" he asked. "Ehh, we're fine as far as I'm concerned.. We don't get to talk much or see each other much anymore"

"Sounds like a pain in the . Do you ever thinking about breaking up?"

"Every now and then.. But I have to remember that we can't. I just feel like.. We're meant to be together. And no matter what happens, we'll always come back to each other"

Changmin nodded his head and smiled. "That serious, huh?" 

"Yupp. That's what Rachel and Onew thought too.. But that didn't work out"

"But of course, it's different with you and Key I imagine" Changmin assumed.

I just sighed. "Yes. It's very very different" 

"Well, then I hope the best for both of you" he smiled again and patted my head. I just smiled back and wiped my mouth of any access pasta sauce. I'm glad Changmin knows where I'm coming from.

Yunho POV

It was finally time to walk into the theater and take our seats. When I walked in, I could feel myself gasp.. "Wooooow. This place is huge!" I thought. I looked over to Rachel to see her reaction, which was the same as mine at first, but after I waited about 10 seconds for her to snap out of it, she wouldn't.. "Yah. Let's go, we have to pick some seats.." I said while nudging her shoulder. "This is so beautiful" she gaped at the huge stage. "I know right?" I smiled at her

She finally looked down at me and smiled back. "Welcome back to reality. Now let's find some seats" 

She must really like theater..

In truth, the play was.. Somewhat boring. We were only half way through when I felt something hit my shoulder lightly. I looked over and saw that Rachel laid her head on my shoulder. After that, I couldn't stop smiling..

Rachel POV

I started dozing off during the play. I can't believe that I would actually fall asleep while watching a play. This has never happened before. Luckily, I was awakened by my phone vibrating in my pocket. I lifted my head up and checked the caller ID. It's... Taemin?

I looked around at the people sitting and realized that nobody was paying attention. So I answered.. "Yobseyo?" I whispered. 

"Hey! How has Japan been? Do you like it?" I heard Taemin's cute happy voice in the phone. "Yes. I really like it. I'm watching a play right now, I'll call you when it's over" I said as quiet as I could. "Oh okay. Say hi to Amber noona and Yunho hyung and Changmin hyung for me" he giggled and hung up the phone..

Minho POV

I watched as Taemin ended the call and looked up at me. "She's watching a play.." he smiled at me, then looked over at everyone in the room. "Cool.. Onew hyung. Why don't you just grow a pair and call her yourself?" Jonghyun chirped in. "She hates me, that's why" he sighed and looked down. "She doesn't hate you. She just needs space. Just give it time.." Jonghyun reassured him. I smiled at Jonghyun and Onew before walking into my room. 

I wonder if she's still upset. 

After reading for a while. I heard noises coming from the living room. When I jumped out of my room, my other members were chasing each other around the house.. Acting like dorks. 

"Come on guys. Sit down before you break something" I ordered them, but nobody listened to me. 

Rachel POV

Finally, the play came to an end. "That was... Really boring.." I sighed. "But I'm still happy I got to watch some stage acting. It's always so exciting!"

"I know. Sometimes I feel like it's more fun than TV cause you feel like you're more in the action..." Yunho agreed and walked me out of the building. "Unless it's not actiony, then you just watch"

"Actiony?" I laughed as Yunho just made up a new word. He just shrugged. When we were almost out the door, Yunho seemed to see someone and ran out at lightening speed. Whoever he was focused on, was now on the ground because Yunho tackled him or her. I ran up and saw Yunho and Changmin wrestling in the middle of the walkway, there's never a wrong time to be immature. I looked up and saw Amber, who just shook her and laughed under her breath

After we left the theater and back to our apartment, Yunho and I found out that Changmin and Amber never went ice skating..

"But why not? It looked so cool on the paper" I complained. "I don't know why we didn't" Amber looked at Changmin and shrugged. "Yeah, we went out for lunch and then decided we'd shop instead" Changmin continued on. I looked down to the ground and sighed

Yunho POV

While we walked on the sidewalk looking in at stores. "But why not? It looked so cool on the paper" Rachel said. What are they talking about? "I don't know why we didn't" Amber sighed.. Did they not go ice skating? "Yeah, we went out for lunch and then decided we'd shop instead" Changmin nodded his head as he told us what he and Amber did while we watched the play. So they didn't go ice skating then. Well, that's kinda nice. They'd rather wait for Rachel and I.

I smiled, until I looked down at Rachel. She looked down at the ground and kicked rocks around. "Do you still wanna go ice skating though?" I asked her. "Yeah.. Of course.. Tomorrow I guess.." she sighed. 

I pulled out the ad for the rink out of my bag and looked at it. There was a picture of the rink on the back that we never looked at. It was a picture of the rink taken at night. I smiled at how beautiful it was 

Amber POV

"Did you know today is Thanksgiving?" I asked Rachel, who was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. Her head popped up. "Yeah I know! I was surprised that I almost forgot" she giggled. 

After she was done brushing her teeth, we watched movies we brought from home and relaxed. Sooner or later, it got dark and I got a phone call from my other members.

"Yahh! How has it been in Japan?" Victoria asked. "Yeah! Tell us all about it!" Sulli added. 

"It's really fun.. There's a lot to see." I told them. f(x) and I have been to Japan several times, but only for work, so we've never seen the outside. Rachel listened in as well. "Tell Rachel, Yunho, and Changmin we said hi and that we miss them" Luna chimed in. 

"Hey guys. I miss you too. Yunho and Changmin aren't here right now, but we'll let them know tomorrow" Rachel greeted 

While I continued to talk on the phone with my members, Rachel got a phone call as well. When she started talking, she spoke in english. "Maybe her brother?" I thought

Rachel POV

I looked over at Amber while she talked on the phone with her group, I got a call too. From Kris

"Hey, what's up? It's sorta late" I said into the phone. "I'm sorry. I just want to hear all about Japan" he beamed. 

"Well, it's really nice. Pretty good weather for the middle of November... When are you guys debuting again?" I asked. 

"Soon, very soon" is all he said

"Are you nervous? You sound nervous"

"Of course I'm nervous! What am I supposed to feel? WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?!" Kris joked around. I laughed at his remark. "I will uphold my promise and get you something. I already promised everyone else" I sighed.. Thinking of how I promised almost everyone that I'd bring them back something like I always do

"Yeah.. But I'm the most special out of all of them.. So please don't forget!" he begged. Kris has seemed to open up and break free from his personal bubble after he moved in to our label. I'm so proud

"Go to sleep, Kris. I won't forget.. I promise" I giggled. "Goodnight"

And with that. I pressed 'end call'

After some time, the movies seemed to not stop, and Amber fell asleep. It was almost 10pm when I got another phone call from Onew

"Yobseyo...?" I said slowly. 

"Hey..."

"Hi"

"How's Japan?"

"It's been good.. I guess. It's everything I expected"

"Well that's good. I love going to Japan"

"I bet"

"Well.."

"Yeah.."

"I think I'm gunna go now. Goodnight"

"Goodnight" I pressed 'end call' as fast as I could. I didn't want to hear his voice, not now while I'm trying to get over him.

I set my phone down and closed my eyes. They only seemed to be closed for about half a second when someone knocked on the door. I got up slowly and trudged to the door. When I opened it, I saw Yunho..

"Oppa. What brings you here so late?" I asked him. 

"Wanna go ice skating??" he smiled. Why on earth would he want to go now?

"N-Now?" I stuttered. He nodded his head happily. "Don't you want to wait until morning?" I asked

"It's so much more beautiful at night. The lights are and everything, and the moon is full tonight.. Please?" 

I sighed. I didn't know how to say no at a time like this. "Okay.. But if I get frost bite.. It's all on you" I joked and got dressed for cold weather.

Once we got to the ice skating rink, I couldn't believe my eyes. The lights surrounding the rink and the lights in the trees were breathtaking. The lights were all white with a blue tint, which made me feel like I was in a winter wonderland. They made the street and the ice glow..

"Just like in the picture!" Yunho beamed. I looked at him. "You saw a picture of this?? Why didn't you tell me? I would've gladly sneaked out with you!" I blurted out

"Ohhhreaaally??" he smiled. I then realized what I said. "I mean.. I . Uh.. I would.. You.." I was at a loss for words, because I remembered what I said, and also by looking at Yunho's smile. "Never mind. Let's go skate" he smiled and pinched my cheek. 

"These things you do to me.." I thought while I watched him put his skates on. 

Finally we made it out on the ice and I looked around at the beautiful lights and the full moon, just like Yunho said. "Wooooow! This is really something!" I gaped. The only people on the rink were Yunho and I, and three or four other people. Yunho looked up and skated in circles. How does he do that??

"I'm not the best at skating" I confessed. He titled his head and smiled. "Should I teach you what I know?" he asked. I nodded. "You can try"

Our ice skating session then consisted of Yunho trying to teach me how to skate like I was a figure skater, and me falling on my and sides. By the end of the night, I could already feel the bruises coming on..

"Maybe we should stop teaching you how to skate.. I think you're fine.." Yunho laughed nervously when he saw me fall for the 100th time that night. I checked my watch, 1:45am. 

"Good idea.." 

"I have a question"

"Shoot"

"Why didn't I ever know that you had such an interest in theater?"

"I don't know. I don't talk about it much.."

"Why not..?"

"I kinda get made fun for of it"

"Really?? Who makes fun of you?"

"All of our friends.."

"Even Onew?" 

"...Especially Onew"

Yunho POV

"Especially Onew.." she sighed. I was crushed. Why would her boyfriend for loving such a beautiful thing like theatrical arts?

I just nodded my head and decided to drop the subject. After that we skated in circles for a good ten minutes in silence.. 

"Have you ever tried dancing on the ice?" I asked her. "What? No.. Is that even possible?"

"Heck yes it is! And you're such a good dancer. I think you can do it. Let's dance" I said reaching out for her hand. She took my hand with barely any hesitation. She smiled and skated with me while we danced on the ice. Just then, the radio across the street started playing slow piano music

"I love this song" she smiled and looked up at the stars.. "I love you" I thought to myself as I looked down at her. As the song played, I brought her closer and closer to me until the gap between us had finally disappeared. I spun her around in circles. She laughed with her eyes closed as she spun around. The night sky and lights made her and feel so carefree. I never wanted to leave the ice.

Her laughter was so fun to listen to. So much of her positive energy rubbed off on me and I started to laugh with her. 

I finally stopped spinning her and danced normal again. She took a deep breath and looked at me. "You're so cute, oppa" she said carelessly with her eyes halfway closed

"I think you're cuter" I blurted out. Wait! I didn't say that aloud, did I?

"Ohhhreaaally?" she hummed. She seemed like she was in a whole other world, so I just decided to play along. "Yes really" I smiled and put my hands on her waist. "Hmm, no. I'm pretty sure you're a lot cuter. Very very handsome this one is" she looked around and pointed to me. I pulled her closer and looked down into her turqoise eyes. 

"God.. You're so beautiful" I sighed. My heart started beating faster at the sight of her. 

Why am I doing this? She just had a really bad break up and she needs to heal. Why am I pulling her back into this nonsense? I knew it was wrong, but it felt so right. I felt the sparks flying. 

She closed her eyes and laid her head on my chest. "You're beautiful too" she whispered. The comment made my giggle. "You don't call a guy beautiful" I corrected her. "Sure I can. What other word is there? You're so adorable.. You're cute, and I could stare at you all day.. How's that?" she rambled. "You haven't been drinking tonight, have you?" I asked her jokingly.

"Nope. I'm just happy I'm with you and I'm happy we're having a fun time"

I smiled and brought her into an embrace.. "I have a question.." she said

"Yes..?"

"Will you kiss me?"

....

"W-What?" I asked. Did I hear that right?

"Kiss me, Yunho oppa"

"Rachel.. You need to come to your senses"

At that, Rachel stopped acting loopy like she had and looked at me with a straight face. "I am... I have this whole time" she said sternly.

"Oh.." I was shocked with her sudden change of mood.

"So.." she said. "So.. what?" I asked

"Will you kiss me?"

"I don't think now is the right time.."

"Why?"

"Because you still need time to heal.. You still have time to get over Onew.."

"I think I'm fine now"

"No, you're not.." 

"... How long do you think I need?" she asked. I looked down at her kissable pink lips.

"Believe me when I say.. I would love to kiss you right now.." I confessed.

"I know you want to be a gentlemen and give me time and take things slow.. But.. "

"I really want to kiss you.."

"Then do it."

I thought of it for a while.. I just thought and thought. What do I do in a situation like this? She still needs time, and everyone knows that. But I want to kiss her so bad. I would give anything for a kiss from her. And now here she is, right in front of me, asking for a kiss, and I'm actually thinking it over? Why should I hesitate?

Think of her, put her needs before your wants..

"You still need time..to get over Onew"

"Please stop saying his name"

"I'm sorry.."

"Do you want to help me?"

"Yes, of course"

"Please stay with me..." she said before resting her head on my chest again. "You're right.. I need more time.. But I want to kiss you.."

"I want to kiss you too.."

"Do you think.. Waiting is the best thing for me? For us?" she asked. 

I took a deep breath. "I think so.. Just wait a little longer.."

"Okay"

After our deep conversation, I took her back to our apartment building and dropped her off by her door. The time was 2:30am.

"Get good sleep, okay? It's super late" I told her. She smiled. "Thank you for taking me ice skating at night. It was so beautiful" 

"No problem" I smiled. She unlocked the door to her apartment and went inside. "Stay warm" she whispered right before closing the door. 

I started walking towards my apartment when I thought whether or not I made the right decision or not. I couldn't think. She was on my mind all night long

Rachel POV

The second I closed the door, I picked Amber's limp body up off the couch and carried her to bed. I got dressed in my PJ's and fell asleep just like that. "I hope I get a kiss from you soon" I thought

Next thing I remember was being woken up by my phone ringing on the night stand. Who on earth would be calling so late at night??

I checked the caller ID. Incoming call : Ryeowook

Why is he calling me now? While we're sleeping

"Why are you calling me so late? You're such a butthole!" I whined. "I'm sorry, but I have amazing news! And the moment I found out, I just had to let you know!"

"You found something out at this time of the day? Whatever it is. I'm positive it's not as important as you make it out to be. I'm hanging up now.." I complained into the phone. I was just about to press 'end call' when I heard Ryeowook panic.. "It's about Leeteuk hyung!!"

And at that moment, I halted everything..

"I'm listening.."

So stay tuned :D I really liked this chapter and I don't know why. I hope nobody is peeved because I'm making Onew seem like the bad guy. It's not what I meant to do, promise.
