Onew P.O.V:

I watched my friends play outside of the small house while I sit on the front steps. Music plays from the boombox we brought with us. Jjong played with Taemin while Key chased Minho around the house, but at times would play in one big group

I would've joined in, but I didn't feel right. I felt... Alone. Rachel was inside talking to her aunt Sheryl, her father's sister.

I could only hear a few words, but I knew they were talking about her father. Even though she was only 10 yards behind me, I missed her.

I was watching Taemin catch fireflies with Key when I heard the distant conversation behind me go silent. It caught my attention because I did want it to stop so Rachel could be with us. I know it sounds selfish, but that's how I truly felt

I heard a commotion behind me get closer to my ear. All of a sudden, I could feel Rachel's breath in my ear. I knew it was her because her breath was freezing cold. I was guessing it came with the sadness, since she still was. Ever since her dad passed away, her skin and breath were as cold as ice

Soon, I felt a small kiss on my neck, then on my jawline. It made me melt. I loved it, yet I could feel the sadness in her kiss.

Even though it made me concerned for her, next thing I know, I gave her a light and silent kiss on her soft, cold lips. I knew it was her offically now because I could see her short white hair. It was getting whiter since her loss. I put my palm on her neck, which was ice cold. It's in the middle of August, and she was cold as if she was in the middle of December. It was one passionate kiss. I got so caught up in it, I could feel my tongue slowly but silenty slide into . Which was, once again, ice cold. But I was urging to warm her up. At this time last year, I didn't know how to give it to a woman. But Rachel showed me. And now I was ready to give it to her again

Since it happened a million times, when I put my tongue in , she didn't pull away. But instead, put HER tongue into my mouth. We stayed like that for a while until I heard Taemin's voice yell "GET A ROOM!!" followed by shrieks of laughter from Jjong and Key.

We gave them a dirty look when our song "Kiss Kiss Kiss" came on the radio. Everyone went "AWWW" except for Rachel, who just smiled and beamed. She has told us 100 times how much she loves this song

I haven't seen her smile like that for what seemed like forever. I was so used to seeing her smile, but the thought of not being able to see it as much as I'd like, makes me want to cry.

I got up and gestured my hand out to her as if I was asking her to dance with me. She hesitated, but accepted, which made me smile, which made HER smile. And when I saw that beautiful smile, I felt like I could fly
