The Accident
One Twist After Another
Onew P.O.V:
"Whatever you say, hyung. But I'm not too ready to believe you so easy" Taemin laughed to Key, who was standing by the door. "It's true! If you put eggs in your hair, RAW EGGS, it'll help your hair turn brown. I read it online. Didn't you say you were tired of being blonde?" Key explains. Jonghyun, Minho and I all glared at him in disgust cause we all knew what he was saying was a lie. "Well yeah, but what if it doesn-" "SHHH! It will work! And I've always wanted to try it on someone" Kibum blurts out. Taemin finally agrees to it and Key takes him, me, Minho, Jjong, and a raw egg outside to test his fake theory out. "You ready?" Key asks behind Taemin, clutching the egg. "Yeah I guess" Taemin says shivering. Key backs up about 5 yards away from Taemin. With me, having to record the whole thing, and Jonghyun and Minho just watching, with worried expressions on their faces, and Taemin waiting for Key to crack the contents of the egg on top his head, Key takes the egg, backs up and throws it as hard as he can at Taemin. The egg smashes in the middle of Taemin's head. "KYAAAHH!" Taemin screeches in discomfort and falls to his knees. Minho jumps and runs to his boyfriend, his head covered with egg. Jonghyun, Minho, Taemin, and I all turn to Key, who is now rolling on the ground laughing so loud, disturbing the people in our building. With tears rolling down his cheeks, Kibum finally gets up. Jonghyun starts to laugh as well. And even though I told myself I wouldn't, I started to giggle under my breath. Minho and Taemin never break their seriousness which made the situation slightly more funny. "Okay, I know that probably hurt you Taemin-ah. but that was actually really funny" Jonghyun cackled. "Sorry Taemin. I told myself I wouldn't laugh" I laugh behind the camera, which was still recording every second. Taemin looks down, his head still covered with raw egg. He turns to Key, "So when does this egg start turning my hair brown?" he asls
"It won't"
"WHAT?!?!"
Key starts to crack up again. "I told you so I could get the chance to just egg you" Taemin starts to turn bright red. We were all probably waiting for him to start crying, but he only lunges towards Kibum, ready to totally bite his head off. "GET OVER HERE! YOU ARE SO GUNNA GET IT!!" Taemin screams. While Taemin chases Key around, I could see Minho start giggling. I point the camera at Minho. "Are you... laughing?" I ask him. Minho tries to hide his laughter. "....Maybe" Minho says before falling on his back, laughing louder than any of us. I turn the camera on myself "Cut, that's a wrap" I say to the camera bedore turning it off. I watch Key run from Taemin until I, also fall to the ground and laugh until I cry. Me, Jjong, and Minho all laugh while Taemin, STILL covered in raw egg, chases Key anywhere he could. I could feel myself cramping when I look up and see Amber. "Why is Taemin covered in raw egg?" she asks with one eyebrow raised
Rachel P.O.V:
I'm driving to SHINee's apartment with Amber in the passenger seat. "Are we there yet?" she asks me, knowing very well how long it takes to get there. "Soon" I reply calmly. Five minutes pass and I decide to turn on the radio. "Are we there yet?" I hear Amber ask me again. "We're almost there" I say, more frustraided this time. I can see myself passing a sushi place, a gas station, a check cha- "Are we there yet?" Amber's annoying voice asks me AGAIN! "Not YET, now please be quiet." I say through my teeth. My face starts to burn red because Amber wouldn't be quiet. She hasn't shut up since I put her to bed last night. It was the ending of Janurary and I was hoping tha-
"Are we there yet?"
"No, not yet"
I knew she was doing this just to annoy me
"Are we there yet?"
"No!"
"Are we there yet?"
"Does it look like we are?"
"Not really"
"Then shut your mouth!"
....
"Are we there yet"
"Yes"
"Really?"
"No!!"
....
"Are we there yet?"
"GOD DAMNIT WOMAN WOULD YOU SHUT THE FU-"
"We're here!" Amber beams pointng to their building. I take a sigh of relief. Finally.. I don't have to hear her say-
"Are we there ye-"
SWACK!
I see myself, out of no where smack her across the face. "KYAHH!" she screams. "What was that for?!?!" Amber asks. "You know very well what that was for" I say, fusing down. I get closer to her face. "Now shut. . .your. . .TRAP!" I whisper loudly. She sighs in defeat and gets out of the car, rubbing her cheek where I hit her.
When we got up to the front doors, there were a few guys outside playing around and acting like idiots. It wasn't until after I looked closely to see that it was the guys. Minho, Jjong, and Onew were on the ground cracking up while Key is getting chased by Taemin, who had something on his head that kinda looking like.... Raw egg? We walk over to the scene and Amber stands over Onew, who's still on the ground laughing. I walk over to Minho and kneel down next to him. He looks over at me and starts to calm down. "Ohh, H-Hi" he stutters due to the laughing, which made him rather weak. "What on earth is going on?" I ask, totally clueless. "Kibum egged Taemin!" Jjong laughed behind me. All I could do was sigh at there non-exsistent maturity. Taemin obviously looked tired of running after Key. So I go over to Kibum, grab his arms and lock him up so he couldn't run. I've handcuffed him with my hands. "Come on Tae! Punch him where ever you wanna!" I yell. Everyone freezes. I definitely know how to make the atmosphere awkward. "Come on! Do it, Taemin-ah!" Onew yells. "Yeah! Do it!" Minho and Jjong chant. As we all know, Taemin isn't one to actually have the courage to hit someone and cause damage, but Taemin was MAD! He brought his arm back and swung right towards Key's stomach. When his small fist made contact with Key's stomach, Key shot his boney spine back and hit me with it right on my side. "KYA!" we both cry out. Taemin takes a big sigh of relief and grabs Minho by the arm and heads toward the door to the building. "Where are we going?" Minho asks the maknae that was dragging him inside. "You're gunna help me get this egg out of my hair" he yells, still red in the face. My side hurts and I'm sitting on the ground. Onew, Amber, and Jjong run over to me to help me up. We were all walking back inside when I thought. "Aren't we missing something?" Then I turn around to see Key, On the ground, holding his stomach for dear life. I ran over to him to help him up. "I deserved it" he manages to say. he finally gets up and has Amber bring him inside. "Yes you did" I sighed before Onew runs towards me and gives me a kiss on the cheek
Onew P.O.V:
Well, me and Jjong are out buying some things for Rachel's birthday. It's extremely early, though.
"Jinki, don't you think she'd like this?" Jonghyun says, holding up a frilly, pink shirt covered in flowers. "Jjong, she's turning 23, not 5." I sighed and turn around to look at the jewelry. I spot a necklace with a small purple and blue crystal on it. Something in the pit of my stomach told me it was perfect. There was ring that came with it to match. "She'll love it" I smile under my breath. "Did you say something?" Jonghyun says, standing beside me while I stared at the necklace.
When we walked out of the store, I saw one of my favorite burger joints. "Wanna be fatties for a day and go get a burger?" Jonghyun laughed. "You can read my mind like it's a book in front of your face, can't you? Let's go" I said smiling at Jonghyun. We were about to cross the street to go eat but something... or someone stopped me. I saw Chris, talking to someone who was hidden behind a building. "Hey, there's Chris" I said, nudging Jjong. He stopped and smiled, and so did I, but our smiles suddenly dropped when the person he was talking to came out from behind the building into sight. It was his and Rachel's mother, Lisa. Jonghyun and I both start to back up when they started walking towards us. "I knew there was something wrong with that guy" I whispered to Jjong. I look over at him and he's totally frozen. I look back at Chris and Lisa to see that Lisa was staring right at us. A rather sympathetic look grew on her face. Jjong started to back up more and he pulled me with until we both flatened ourselves against the wall of the store we had just come out of. Lisa started to walk across the street to us with her arm held up. "Wait!" she yelled, trying to stop us. I prepare myself to run along with Jonghyun until I look back at her and..
BAM!!!
I couldn't believe what I just saw...
Amber P.O.V:
Me, Rachel and Kibum were all sitting at the couch after the big prank that Key pulled on Taemin. Key claimed his stomach still hurt so I decided to rub it for him. He was whining in pain when I spoke up. "You're so stupid" I sighed. "I know, that's why I did it. When you're as dumb as me, you've got nothing to lose" he smiled. I couldn't keep my serious look for much longer. Rachel ignored every word we said and glanced at her watch. "What's taking them so long" she whispered. Just then, Minho and Taemin had come downstairs. Taemin's hair was finally egg-free. "How's he doing?" Minho asked sympathetically. "He's okay. He'll live. He deserved it though" I said the last part looking at Key. "YOU'RE DARN RIGHT HE DID!" Taemin pouted, loudly. Rachel walks into the kitchen absentmindedly while Minho followed. "I'll be right back" I said to Key before giving him a peck on the cheek, who was still thriving in pain, leaving him with Taemin.
Taemin P.O.V:
Amber left Key on the couch and followed Minho and Rachel into the kitchen. I slowly sat on the couch next to Kibum, who looked at me, frowning because of the pain. "Next time, please don't hit me with the egg. Crack it above my head. And put some hair dye in it if you assume it'll turn my hair brown" I sighed. Key forced a smile on his face and apologized. From the kitchen, I could hear Minho's phone ring. Silence fell over the room, then out of no where, Minho and Rachel nearly break the door down and run out. Amber didn't follow, as she was becoming slow due to her pregnancy. "What's going on?" Key asked Amber from behind the couch. Amber frowned...
Amber P.O.V:
I walk through the kitchen doors to follow Rachel in the kitchen. "Is everything okay?" I ask her as she sits down at the table. "I'm starting to worry about Jinki and Jjong. Why haven't they come back yet?" she said, almost in a whisper. Minho looked at her worried expression and frowned. Then, Minho's phone starts to ring. He looks at the caller ID. "It's Jinki!" Minho flips open the phone. "Where have you guys been?
"Yeah?"
"WHAT?!"
"Really?"
"Okay, okay. Slow down"
"Calm down! What exactly happened?"
.....
"Okay, we'll be right over"
Minho hung up the phone and Rachel was right in front of him, their faces centimeters away. "Where are they?!! What happened? Are they okay?" Rachel asked repeatedly
Minho looked up at Rachel and held his breath.
"Jinki and Jonghyun ran into your mother while they were out....
.....She got hit by a car"
Rachel's eyes started to fill up with tears, but none of them fell. . . .
