Chapter 19: Wrath And Want.

“What the hell girl?! Do you need something?! Let me meet my oppa!” Jihye said, slightly annoyed by Hana.

Hana scoffed.

“The last time I checked, I am going to be their bride- and they’re my oppas,” hana said while giving her a smirk.

Well, that’s a first.

She called all of us oppa.

Okay- we were all really shocked when Hana said that.

Especially the ones who weren’t on good terms with her.

Jihye just glared at Hana.

“You...” Jihye started, but Kris-hyung cut her off.

“Just to remind you- you’re standing in our house, Jihye, and you can’t insult our bride in front of us,” he growled at her.

Hana was taken by a little surprise with that statement- I can see shock written all over her face.

I couldn’t agree to Kris-hyung more.

She couldn’t insult Hana in front of us.

We’re all glaring at the .

“But oppa-” she was cut off again by Sehun.

“You really want to counter back?” he growled.

“Jihye, I think you should rest- you look exhausted,” dad said.

Jihye smiled to him and walked away.

But before walking out, she stopped in front of the deer.

What’s up with them?

Luhan-hyung looked at her in a rather confused manner.

“Oppa, I even called you- but you didn’t pick up the call,” she whined like a she is.

please- even a cow can whine better than her.

We all gave Luhan-hyung an accusing look- the one that said what’s-between-you-and-the-?!

He withered in our gazes- giving us an innocent one.

When this certain deer didn’t answer her, she went out with Krystal trailing behind her.

Actually- she’s going to keep an eye on the .

Once she was gone, Xiumin-hyung came back.

“Ah, I already hate her stay here~” he whined.

But he was ignored because we’re all busy throwing daggers at Luhan-hyun.

Finally, Hana decided to voice out her thoughts.

“See? I told you he was impatient for her arrival- something is really going on between the two of them,” she said and glared at hyung.

“Yah! There’s nothing between me and her!” Lulu defended himself.

“Then how does she get your number?!” mom yelled.

Luhan-hyung just flied his arms in the air with annoyed face.

“If only I know,” he muttered.

“Your mom’s right Luhan- where does she get your number from?” dad glared at him.

Suddenly, we heard someone scoff.

We snapped our heads in Hana’s direction- but it wasn’t her,

It was mom.

She was throwing death glares at dad.

... Okay...

Dad didn’t seem to notice that though.

But soon, he came to realize when all fourteen pairs of eyes were on him.

He turned his head to mom and gulped.

“What?” he asked- a little bit confused.

“Nothing honey- just thinking that you don’t need to be sad about her having Luhan’s number not yours. I’ll personally give her your number,” mom said in a deadly calm voice with dark eyes.

Dad widened his eyes at the statement.

“What?” he asked again.

“You look exhausted you better rest- how dare you let her kissed you on the cheeks?!” mom growled at dad.

Ohoho.

This is interesting.

We could see dad shivering.

And he called himself a King- mental eyeroll.

Tch.

Stupid dad.

We were all looking at them in amusement.

“Does anyone need some popcorn?” Tao asked.

Dad snapped his head in his direction and glared at him, and the panda shut his mouth.

On the other side, mom was still giving dad a murderous look.

Better open the portal to earth because EXO is about to burst.

Hana was looking in mom’s direction while we all were looking in dad’s.

All twelve of us smirked his way and gave him a look that says never-make-your-wife-angry.

Which in return, he gave us your-time-is-soon-and-I’ll-make-sure-to-even-fasten-it.

We gulped at the thought.

After all- we had the almighty Kim Hana as our wife.

No offense dude, but she’s scary even before the marriage- I didn’t want to imagine what’s going to happen after that.

Oh God, have mercy.

 

 

 

 

 

Chen

Dad tried to calm mom down and touched her shoulder.

But mom pried his hands off her.

“Honey, listen,” dad tried to explain, but mom got up from her seat and left.

“She’s hot- better cool her down before she throws you out of your own bedroom. Knowing her, she will do that,” Hana shrugged.

Dad widened his eyes.

“Stupid Jihye,” he cursed and quickly went after mom.

He really didn’t want to be kicked out of his own room.

Actually- it would be kind of weird that a King was kicked out of his room because the Queen was angry on him for letting a cake-faced-eighteen-years-old- kissed him on the cheeks.

After dad left, the whole crowd burst into laughter.

“Now that’s something we call entertainment,” Hana said between her laughs.

“I have an idea!” I exclaimed.

“Oh-no mister genius. Sending Hana to his room was your idea too,” Suho snapped.

Everyone ignored him.

“What idea?” they all looked at me with curiosity.

 

 

 

 

 

Hana

Okay- now the thirteen of us were all standing outside the King’s and the Queen’s bedroom door.

You must be thinking what we’re doing here?

Well, this was Chen’s idea.

He said we had watched half of the drama, and we should continue with it.

So yeah- here we were at the door of their room.

As soon as we reached there, we heard no voice at all.

“Oh my God- I think mom killed dad in anger,” the panda panicked.

And believe me, I thought the same for a second before I heard a muffled sound.

We all widened our eyes.

“Hyung! We need to stop mom from killing dad!” Sehun whispered.

“How are you so sure that your mom is killing your dad?” I asked him.

He was about to answer me when Chanyeol pointed toward a window.

“Let’s take a peek from there,” he said.

Clever idea.

I was the closest to the window, so I moved towards it and peeked in and-

...

Oh.

MY.

GOD!

OMG OMG- my eyes aren’t anymore!

There, I saw the King and the Queen doing *cough* that *cough*.

Thankfully, they were under the blanket.

My innocent mind and eyes...

My eyes widened at the realization of what I was looking at.

So I gasped unknowingly and moved away.

Everyone raised a brow at me, but I was still in my shocked state.

“Why did you gasp? Did mom really kill dad?” Tao whispered.

“Oh dad, I’ll miss you,” he continued while crying.

I widened my eyes at him.

“Why are you crying?” I asked.

“My mom killed my dad and you ask me why I’m crying?!” he said.

“Who sad that? Your mom didn’t kill him,” I confirmed.

“Oh, really? My precious tears got wasted.”

We all rolled our eyes at him.

“What did you gasp for?” Sehun asked me.

Before I could answer though, he had stood at the window with mouth agape.

“OMG- my eyes are still underage to see this!” he said.

Before I knew it, the deer had shut his eyes.

“Yes, they are,” he said.

“What’s happening in there- mind telling us?” the chicken yelled in a whisper.

“Forget it- I’ll see for myself,” he said.

Luhan and Sehun moved gestured their hands to persuade the others to see.

I widened my eyes immediately.

“Stop!”

I was too late, however- as they’re all standing by the window with mouth ajar.

Oh God- these vampires are definitely erts.

I bet their erted side is something they inherit from their parents.

I looked in their direction as if they’re watching a movie just under a blanket.

I was enraged and couldn’t control it anymore.

“Yah you erts, what are you doing?! Don’t you have any manner and value?!” I shouted at them.

They all widened their eyes and we heard the King cursing ‘’.

They quickly backed off from the window.

“Let’s run away,” said the deer.

“No use- they’ll probably know it’s us,” I said.

“Wait- someone’s coming- Jihye,” said Sehun.

“I have an idea- let’s just hide.”

We all went away to the end of the corridor with our vampire speed.

Jihye came in front of the window.

“What are they peeking at?” she asked no one.

Bingo.

She moved closer to the window and started peeking- just in time when the King and the Queen came out to catch the culprit.

The Queen’s dangerous aura could be felt again.

Jihye was still peeking inside, when the King decided to clear his throat.

Jihye turned her head to them.

All thirteen of us were dying to control our laughter.

God- can this day get any better?

It’s actually entertaining- take that .

“What was it that you said before?” the Queen snapped at her.

“What?” Jihye was confused.

Oh God- I’m going to die- this is so funny!

I looked my left and saw Chanyeol was about to burst out laughing.

Before he could do so, I quickly covered his mouth with my hands.

We all glared at him and he just hung his head low.

“Jihye, I think you should go back to your room- or maybe you can find the others in the lounge,” dad said.

Jihye left.

“Okay, we should be in the lounge at the time,” I voiced out.

Everyone looked at each other.

“Let’s walk like we know nothing,” suggested Kris, and we all agreed.

We peeked again at the hallway- the King was standing there while the Queen went inside.

We began to walk to him, with some little talks and jokes just to put up a show.

“Oh, hey dad,” said Xiumin.

“Where’s the Queen? I hope you managed to calm her down- she’s talking to you again, right?” just as I finished my question, the Queen opened the door.

She threw his pillow and blanket out of the room and locked them.

The King looked like he’s going insane anytime now.

“I guess you didn’t act upon my advice. If you have done what I said, you won’t be standing outside your room with a pillow and a blanket in your hands,” I said and shook my head in disappointment.

God- I really want to laugh out loud like- right now.

“Don’t worry dad, you can come with us,” Suho offered.

“Yeah dad- we’re your sons, we’ll give you a shelter until mom opens the door,” said Tao.

The King glared at all of us- which was the cue to leave or he’d kill us.

And like that, we all left.

We reached the lounge- where Jihye was confused about something.

“Your mom was really angry at me, and I don’t know why,” she said.

Well - it’s better for you to not know it.

We only gave her a sympathetic look and sat down.

 

 

Hana

After having a disastrous dinner with the , I went to my room for some sleep.

The Queen was literally eating that girl in her mind.

Poor King though, he wouldn’t be able to sleep in his room as long as Jihye’s here.

Kekeke.

I did my daily routine and was ready to sleep when this searing pain in my throat came back.

Damn.

Yes, it came back.

I’ve been having it since a certain erted dragon bonded with me.

But usually, the pain lasted for about a minute, then it subsided.

This time, however, the pain became unbearable.

God.

WHY IN THE EFFIN HELL DOES THE PAIN STAYED STILL?!

The pain got worst, and I knew the answer instantly.

I needed his blood.

That dragon.

The blonde lizard.

Ugh.

For the sake of Krisus.

Think Hana, think.

What should I do...

Aha!

I quickly got out of my room, and thanks God nobody was there.

I went to the room on my right side- D.O’s, if I’m not mistaken.

I knocked the door for several times until he opened it.

And his sleepiness went away once he saw my paler-than-usual face.

“Oh my God, Hana- what’s wrong with you?!” he shrieked.

“B-blood,” I muttered weakly.

He quickly went inside and took a packet of blood.

I drank the whole of it, and the pain lessened.

Even though I’m not satisfied, at least I could bear it now.

“You’re okay now?” he asked, worry was written all over his face.

“Yeah, sorry to disturbed you,” I said and he helped me get up.

“You sure,” he asked again.

“Yes,” and I went inside my room.

 

 

 

 

 

In the middle of the night.

I got up to the same pain once again.

Not again.

I went to the kitchen and drank a packet of blood, but that seemed to worsen my pain.

GAH!

I knew exactly what I need, but I can’t just barge into his room and tell him that I need his blood- in the middle of the night at that.

The pain became worst if that’s even possible, and all the common sense that I have had vanished in a blink of an eye.

I went in front of his room with my vampire speed and knocked the door.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

That’s it.

I barged into his room and ran straight to his bed- where he was.

I held him by the collar.

He was shocked upon seeing me, and he gulped.

A little bit of sense got into me.

“W-what do you want?” he was still in his shocked state.

“I need your blood,” I whispered.

No matter how dominant my vampire side was in need of his blood, I wouldn’t want to hurt him.

He shivered, but not a second later, panic was written all over his face.

I somehow could tell that he was controlling himself from drinking my blood that second.

“Ha-hana...” he began, but he widened his eyes when he saw me clutching my throat.

“Have you tried drinking from the blood package?” he asked.

I nodded in response; it was too painful to talk.

“It didn’t work?” he asked again.

“Damn it- I wouldn’t have come to you if it did,” I hissed.

Ugh.

Who could’ve guessed that the dragon is more air headed than the deer?

The pain became unbearable, and I crouched on the bed while clutching my throat.

He quickly came near me and before I knew it, he had sank his fangs on my neck.

I let out a small whimper.

My whole energy was being drained out.

Once he’s satisfied, he pulled back and put his neck near my mouth.

Without any words, I sank my fangs on it.

As the liquid reached my throat, the pain slowly subsided.

I pulled back not long after- I don’t want him to be drained out because of me.

We pulled away from each other, and I stood up.

But the dizziness got the best of me as I fell forward.

Thankfully, a pair of arms had caught me before I could fell flat on my face.

Kris carried me, and I was too exhausted to struggle.

So, I just rested my head on his shoulder and let him did what he want.

We went to my room, and he tucked me to bed.

He left my room while muttering a small thanks, which I didn’t fail to catch.

Unknowingly, I smiled and drifted off to dreamland.

 

 

 

 

 

Lay

I woke up to the noise of someone knocking on my door.

I was about to get up, when the door flew open.

I was shocked to see Hana barging in and Kris-hyung was trailing behind her like a lost puppy.

What the-

“Why did you even knocked?” I frowned and sat up.

“You were taking too long to open, so...” she smiled sheepishly, making me rolled my eyes.

Just then, I noticed something.

There were two holes on her neck.
