Chapter 6: Payback.

Hana

I went to my room for breakfast, and Krystal was already there.

Trust me, this is the first time I felt annoyed by her presence- she was smirking.

What did I do?

“I see that you’re getting close to someone,” she teased.

“Meh, as if,” I scoffed.

“His power will come in handy for pranking the others,” I shrugged.

“I kind of short on ideas right now.”

She looked at me with I-don’t-believe-you look, but I ignored it.

“Oh well, I only believed on that last statement... And you’re missing an opportunity right now,” she smiled smugly.

I was wondering what she meant for some time, then it hit me.

Dear erted animals -deer, panda, dragon, and name them all- get ready to face the daughter of Satan.

The King

We were all gathered at the dining room for breakfast, when a shocking scene happened.

Hana walked into the dining room.

Who wouldn’t be shocked?

Even my wife was staring at her with opened mouth.

So don’t even ask my sons’ expressions.

“Umm... I was wondering if I’m allowed to have breakfast with all of you, I’m bored with eating by myself,” she asked for my permission.

O~kay.

This is totally unexpected.

Did the Satan possess her?

But anyway, I couldn’t help the happiness that overflowed in me.

I was beyond happy.

I’ve always wanted a daughter- living with twelve sons sometimes okay.

They gave me headaches from time to time.

Both I and my Queen had been waiting for her arrival.

And now that she’s here and began to open up to us, I will definitely treat her as Daddy’s Princess.

My fatherly love for a daughter was awakened once again.

After my sister died years ago, this kind of love was nowhere to be found within me.

I’ve always treated her like my daughter, because our was kind of huge; and she was the youngest in my generation anyway.

And the fact that her daughter is out there somewhere but we couldn’t do anything kills me.

But I’m happy now.

My soon-to-be daughter-in-law was smiling towards us- a genuine smile, not her usual smirk.

It was like she wanted to tell me that she loved my and cared about me just as much as how I concerned about her.

Before I got to response to her request, my wife had already stood up and hugged her.

See? I told you that she was waiting for this kind of thing too.

“Of course dear, why not?” I swore that I could see her bright smile from miles away.

“Just sit where ever you prefer,” I smiled at her.

And let me tell you- I rarely smile.

I don’t know why, but I feel attached to this girl.

She wandered her eyes for a while, and decided to sit between my wife and Minseok.

Sehun

To say that we were shock was a complete understatement.

When she looked around to find a seat, I saw something glinted in her eyes.

I couldn’t decipher it, but I knew that it won’t be good.

My instincts said so.

She sat beside Xiumin-hyung, and we began our breakfast.

The next scene shocked us more than when she came down though.

She laughed with Xiumin-hyung.

She.

Freaking.

Laughed!

And they were engrossed in their... friendly conversation- it was as if they were long lost friends.

Okay.

WHAT IN THE ING HELL WAS GOING ON?!

And yes, the profanities were necessary.

Mom and Dad were happy that she finally opened up- but not me and my ten other hyungs.

We eyed them suspiciously.

Not only the human girl, but actually, Xiumin-hyung was also not friendly. At all.

So when the both of them were laughing and talking comfortably to each other, who wouldn’t be cautious?

“O~kay. How did this happen?” mom asked.

Yes.

Finally someone dropped the bomb.

Hana

Xiumin explained what happened in my place- I’m still not talking with friendly tone in front of the eleven jerks.

Yes, I’ve decided that Xiumin is now out of my death note.

He’s only out from my pranks though- not the others.

But of course- he didn’t say a thing about our deal.

I could see from the corner of my eye that the eleven idiots didn’t believe what Xiumin said; but face the truth es.

He said the truth.

You jelly?

Anyway, we continued our meal after the interrogation- and I found myself talking with Xiumin again.

We talked about random things, and I didn’t mind a bit.

And again, I actually enjoyed myself.

He does have a great personality.

Chen

Okay.

Somebody strike me with a lightning.

I’m not dreaming, am I?

She is talking with Xiumin-hyung, and they acted like a couple in love.

Barf.

And right then, I knew that she was up to something.

There’s just something evil in her eyes.

And I didn’t actually believe what Xiumin-hyung said.

But he had never lied to us- and I don’t think he ever would.

But I’m sure that there’s something more behind their so-called friendship.

Once we finished our breakfast, she began her evil plans.

Oh yes, I knew it.

She’s a walking trouble.

Too bad that dad had escaped the scene- he won’t be seeing his future daughter-in-law’s evil side.

I couldn’t help myself but to laugh.

She’s good with the mocking.

Luhan

“Deer Luhan,” she smirked as she grabbed my attention.

Oh she succeeded alright.

And she purposely emphasized on the word Deer.

Damn that .

I knew that something wasn’t right when she showed up at the dining room, but WHY AM I HER VICTIM AGAIN?

The world is cruel.

And I wanted to kill her right on the spot.

How dare she?

But I won’t fall for her trap.

I’m not letting her ticked me again.

“Yes, human?” two can play the game.

She was shocked for a second- then the annoying smirk came again.

And the look on her face simply reminded me of Satan.

Not that I’ve met him though, but you will know if you see it yourself.

It was like I’m really a deer, and she’s the hunter.

No, wait.

I’m not a ing deer.

But I can’t believe that I’m scared by a human!

Ffs, I’m a vampire, why the fudge did I feel intimidated by her?!

I gulped down my glass of water to calm down.

“Did you by any chance, bring yourself a female deer last night?”

“PFFFT-” I spurted out the water I had in my mouth- accidentally landing on D.O’s face.

“HYUNG!” D.O shouted at me.

But I couldn’t care less about his face.

SHE FIGURED MY- OUR SESSION LAST NIGHT.

MOREOVER, SHE JUST HAD TO MENTION IT IN FRONT OF MOM.

And I could see that the others were stiffened on their place.

Who wouldn’t? If she heard the *cough* moans *cough* that I made last night- that would meant that she heard the others’ too.

She kept on smirking, while mom glared at us.

Her eyes were saying ‘what is she talking about?’

But I’m a little thankful that she didn’t mention it in front of dad.

He would go berserk.

“O-of co-course not,” I stuttered.

Damn. Why am I stuttering now, out of all times?

“It’s useless to lie hyung,” Chen, who was sitting beside me, whispered.

I looked at him questioningly.

“She was in front of our rooms last night.”

Damn.

Why didn’t this camel tell me about this earlier?

Her mischievousness increased by my stuttered answer.

“Hana, what do you mean?” mom decided to be the cat that was killed by curiosity.

I swore if she told mom, she will be bloodless in less than three seconds.

“Nothing!” Tao yelled.

She smirked at Tao.

“Really, panda?”

He was ready to snap her neck, but froze in his seat instead.

“Didn’t you bring a female panda?”

I see.

Now I know why she’s here.

“Okay, what’s going on here?” mom is frustrated- I could see that.

And that human better keep shut.

Or I will let Chen kill her with his lightning.

“My peaceful sleep last night was interrupted by some noise,” she began.

Damn.

“At first I thought it was some cats fighting, but the more I thought...”

. . .

“Cats don’t moan like humans,” she ended with a satisfied grin.

Mom was now emitting a dangerous aura.

I could practically see a black colored fog around her.

“Hana dear, can I talk to my sons in private? I hope you don’t mind,” mom smiled.

The twelve of us gulped out of fear.

Never anger a mom- she’s even scarier than Lucifer.

“Sure,” the human skipped to her room.

Mom didn’t go lash out on us as she left the scene- but she asked us to follow her to the lounge.

They say, this is the calm before the storm.

And I promise, if we died today, I’m declaring our own bride as the murderer.
