"God, Hyukjae, are you going or not?"

Heenim was getting angry. I was still at home too afraid to go to school. Yesterday after the little incident with Donghae, nothing had really happened but I knew that the disaster would come today. My newly gained confidence went missing yesterday and still didn´t show up.

"You didn´t say anything bad to him, why do you expect the end of the world then?!"

The black cat was getting annoyed showing his irritation by kicking me out of my house. I decided to go to school, before I get scratched or bitten by him. He was as scary as Lee Donghae himself. I left knowing something horrible was about to come.

When I entered the school I felt people stare at me again. I was sure my blonde hair and colourful shoes weren´t an issue anymore. The students were murmuring when I passed them and I couldn´t wait to be at home already. Arriving to the classroom, another wave of whispering erupted. I quickly went to my seat where Sungmin, Ryeowook and some other friends were already waiting.

"Hyukjae! You slapped Donghae?!", "I heard you hit him.", "Hyukjae, is it true that you swore at him?", "Hyukjae!"

"Hey, hey. Nothing like that!" I stopped their nonsense. Then I told them what really happened.

"So you´re saying your head was ringing so you wanted it to ´shut up´ but Donghae stood in front of you?" Sungmin tried to put the puzzles together but the outcome didn´t sound very convincing.

"Yeah, I apologised and we went our own ways. Peace," I shrugged. Though I knew something´s wrong since rumours like that are going around. The guys looked scared and panicked too.

"Hyukjae, you-" Ryeowook wanted to say something but was interrupted by the noise coming from outside of the classroom.

And sure a few moments later the school ginka arrived. Behind him followed his two friends, I would rather say henchmen. They entered with a poker face and went straight to me. Everyone made a circle with me sitting in the centre. I´m gonna get bullied, right? Donghae stepped inside and looked down on me.

"You. Do you have anything to say to me?" He was staring at me with his mouth crooked.

"Hyuk. Don´t let him humiliate you. He´s no better than you," Heenim suddenly appeared on my desk and hissed. Oh not again! This will kill me! But on the other hand he´s right. Why should I let Donghae look down on me when I haven´t done anything wrong. It was an accident yesterday and I apologized properly. He has no right to act like that.

"I´m sorry but I believe we´re classmates since like forever. You should know my name by now, Donghae," I said as calmly as I could at the moment. I heard people gasp and a few worried calls of my name too, mostly from my friends.

"So that´s how you want to play, Hyukjae? Fine!" Donghae snarled, his heels and went away. His friends hurried after him. I felt kinda victorious and proud of myself. Just until I got the real meaning of his words. I´m doomed.

The rest of the morning classes were filled with my utter fear, Heenim´s swearing and comfort from my friends. I was just panicking by myself for now but I was about to taste the real Donghae´s wrath soon.

When I entered the cafeteria, everyone started whispering again. Strangely I was getting used to it and with Heenim walking next to me I felt somehow more confident. Although the black cat was the original cause of my problems. I sat down across of Sungmin and Shindong, my senior. You would have a hard time finding someone as talented as Shindong, my good friend.

Bam! I jumped, there next to me was placed a leg. I looked up noticing some fine muscles on the thigh. The leg belonged to no one else but to the ginka himself. He leaned closer and looked straight into my eyes.

"What are you the best at?" Donghae asked, "If you are good at anything, che." Is this a challenge? I saw Hee hyung nod in the corner of my eye. So I should accept, huh.

"And you? If you say acting high and mighty it doesn´t count," I retorted. Don´t know where this confidence came from.

Donghae looked at me unbelievingly but still answered: "Dance."

“That´s great because I´m pretty confident in that too,” I said not breaking the eye contact. The cafeteria became noisy again. It´s understandable, an average guy just challenged the school ginka in his best skill. All eyes were on us.

"So dance battle, is it?" Donghae asked.

"Yeah," I shrugged acting brave.

"Fine! After school in the main hall. I´m giving you a chance to run away, Hyukjae, but I would rather embarrass you in front of everyone. It would be more fun, you know," the ginka smirked.

"Kay, I´ll be there," and with that I turned back to my food and started eating. Donghae wasn´t amused but let the cold response be and went back to his table. Probably badmouthing me with his henchmen.

"Oh my God, Hyukjae!" Sungmin screamed. "Have you gone insane? Why are you doing this, he will kill you in front of everyone. You just want to battle with the leader of the dance team. You, who never goes to club, I´ve never seen you dance!"

"I have," Shindong suddenly spoke up, "and we have a chance." He smiled at me. When did he see me? This should have been my secret and there´s no way the cat would tell him.

"If you say so," Sungmin said defeated, "but still. What´s wrong with you? You act so strange these days and you even wear clothes like that, bleaching your hair, being so brave. I don´t like it. Where is my lovely dongsaeng?" He said pleadingly.

This was so hurtful. I felt more myself than ever. Wearing pretty clothes and talking back to those who try to step on me. Does he want me to hide and beg on my knees instead of fighting? Or is he scared of Donghae and doesn´t want to be pulled into our fight? I didn´t know what was running through his head but I felt betrayed and disappointed. At this moment I needed his support, but he turned his back to me instead.

And I had a big battle awaiting me.

Ba-bam! It´s there, look forward to the dance battle. Will be Hyukjae able to show off or will he make a mess again? :P
