Chapter 20: Date

chocolate CHIP COOKie

When she got inside the car, Sooyoung asked, “So where do you want to go first?”

“Your call,” Tiffany said while buckling her seatbelt.

Sooyoung thought about it for a few seconds. “How about we go to this restaurant that—“

Tiffany didn’t let her finish, “We’re going to eat?”

Sooyoung looked at her for a couple seconds before answering. “Uh, no. We are going there to wait tables and then serve food to the other customers,” she answered sarcastically. Sooyoung had an amused smile on her face so as much as Tiffany wanted to be mad at her, she couldn’t.

She smiled and hit Sooyoung’s arm, “That’s not what I meant. You want to eat again? We just ate breakfast.”

“What do you want to do then?” Sooyoung asked as she started the car.

“You invited me to go out on a date. You should be the one deciding.”

“Well, yeah but I’ve tried doing that before and I ended up eating by myself on a fancy restaurant and the worst part was I ordered way too many. I looked like a loner and a glutton.”

Tiffany couldn’t help but to laugh despite the seriousness that’s visible in Sooyoung’s face.

“Yah! That’s a true story so don’t laugh. I was really hurt when she left me there by myself. Good thing Hyo came to the rescue. I didn’t look like a total idiot,” she said as she navigated her car.

“Aww…Poor Sooyoungie, don’t worry I won’t leave you by yourself.” Tiffany wasn’t aware that her statement just made Sooyoung’s day. “I know!” Tiffany said. “Let’s go ice skating! I didn’t get to do that last winter. I fell down the stairs and I had to wear a cast for months.”

I don’t know how to skate but whatever, how hard could that be.

“Let’s go to Lotte World then,” Sooyoung said as she glanced at the overexcited Tiffany.

“Taengoo-ah,” Jessica called.

Taeyeon was peeling a bunch of apples in the kitchen when she heard Jessica’s voice. She immediately dropped everything in her hand and ran like the wind.

“Yes?”

“I’m hungry. I didn’t get to eat a lot earlier since I was seated next to Sooyoung. She kept on stealing my food.”

I should’ve known that she was only calling out for me because she needed food. I should still be grateful though.

“Follow me to the kitchen then. I’ll cook—“

“I can’t go in there. I, Sooyoung and Yoona are prohibited to go in there. Yuri scolded us last night. She said we kept on eating all the groceries and the only time we should eat is during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can you believe her? I’m starving!” she sighed and pouted cutely.

Those three do eat a lot.

“Do you want an apple? I—“

“I want food! Give me a proper meal,” she whined.

“Let’s go out to eat then. My treat,” she said without thinking much.

“Really?” Taeyeon nodded. “Yay!” Jessica said then ran to their room to change.

Sunny and Hyoyeon appeared out of nowhere and said, “We heard everything. Oh.My.God! You asked her out!”

“No, I didn’t. She said she was hungry and she wanted to eat but she c—“

“This is your chance, Taeyeon. Hwaiting!” The two of them saw Jessica skipping her way to the living room so they immediately made their way to the kitchen

“What were you guys talking about?”

“Nothing. Come on. I know this place where they serve amazing food.”

---

“We’re here,” Sooyoung said as she took the keys out of the ignition. “Can we eat after this?”

“We haven’t even started skating yet and you’re thinking about food already? You have a big appetite. HUMUNGOUS!” she answered. When she got out of the car, she smelled something familiar. She felt her phone vibrating so she checked if she received a message and she did. It was from Yuri.

Hey, Fany, I forgot to tell you that I used your perfume on my jacket^^ I was thinking that you might not like to wear it if I used my perfume. Take care.

So that’s where the familiar smell comes from, she thought as she was sniffing the jacket.

“You want to switch jackets? I could wear Yuri’s jacket if you want,” she heard Sooyoung’s voice.

“No, no. I’m fine with it.”

“Okay. Let’s do this so we can eat afterwards! Hwaiting!” Sooyoung smiled brightly. The thought of food makes her hyper.

Tiffany could only chuckle at her “date” while they walk towards the skating rink.

Once there, they rented two pairs of skates and sat at a bench to put them on.

Tiffany quickly laced her skates and stood up. She saw Sooyoung who was currently having problems with lacing hers.

She approached her and asked, “That’s not how you tie it up. Have you gone ice skating before?”

“No but I didn’t think it would be this difficult to tie the laces,” she said as she watched Tiffany tying the laces of her skates.

Tiffany looked up and their eyes met, “Why the heck did you agree on doing this then?”

“You wanted to go ice skating so I thought of giving it a try.”

Tiffany shook her head and said, “Great.”

---

“Byeokje Galbi,” Jessica read the sign out loud. She looked at Taeyeon sceptically. “You sure you’re gonna treat me here…in Byeokje Galbi?” She has not eaten here yet but she’s read some reviews about this restaurant and that it’s famous for its beef.

Taeyeon nodded.

She grinned like a dork and put an arm around Taeyeon’s shoulder. “Prepare your wallet, Taengoo. Come on!”

Taeyeon was blushing madly. If she’s not mistaken, this is their first skinship. REAL skinship. The way to Jessica Jung’s heart is through her stomach.

Once inside, a very tall waitress led them to their table. They sat across each other and Taeyeon skimmed through the menu.

“Have you been here before?” Jessica asked.

“Yeah, a couple of times. Shinyoung-unnie loves it here. She practically eats her lunch here all the time.”

“Oh. So what do you recommend?”

“Do you want their yukhoe?” Jessica asked her what that is and she proceeded on telling her the description written on the menu, “It’s a thin sliced raw beef marinated in special soy sauce with honey and Asian pear.”

“I don’t want that. I don’t like Asian pear.”

“How about their yangnyeom galbi? Barbecued ribs in a special sauce.”

Jessica nodded, “I’ll eat anything as long as it doesn’t have pear, cucumber or watermelon in it.”

“Okay. We’ll order that and I’ll also order a Hanu saenggalbi. I haven’t tasted that one before. I always see Shinyoung-unnie order it so it must be good.”

“Let me see.” Jessica took the menu from Taeyeon and saw the price. Her jaw dropped. She knew it was expensive but she wasn’t really aware of the actual price. She looked at Taeyeon then back at the menu. “Taengoo-ah, you could still change your mind about eating here.”

“We’re already here. Let’s order naengmyeon, too,” she said as she called for the waitress and stated their orders. The waitress brought their orders and set up the grill where the galbi will be cooked. While waiting for their food to be cooked, the two sat there and stared at the sizzling meat.

Taeyeon would occasionally steal a glance. She saw Jessica pouting and she couldn’t help but smile. I’m loving you more and more each day. Wait. Did I just say ‘love’?

“Taengoo,” Jessica’s voice broke her train of thought. “So who’s this person you like? The one that Hyoyeon and Sunny mentioned last night.”

“I can’t tell you.”

“Why?”

She quickly thought of an excuse, “I’m afraid that you’ll make fun of me.”

“You’ve already told Sunny and Hyo and they’re making fun of you so what difference would it make if you tell me?”

“I did not tell them. Those two are just gossip-hungry and they have a habit of eavesdropping,” she defended.

Jessica sighed in defeat.

“How about I tell you what she’s like and you guess?”

Jessica thought about it and said, “I’m not good in guessing though.”

“I’ll give you tons of clues and if your guess is correct, I’ll treat you here again.”

“Okay. Deal.”

“You have to tell me who your guess is on your birthday which is a couple of weeks from now.”

“Okay, okay. Give me the clues already.” Jessica seemed to forget the fact that Taeyeon wasn’t supposed to know when her birthday is.

“She’s pretty,” she looked directly Jessica’s eyes, “She has these different expressions. She has a thousand and one expressions,” she smiled as Jessica’s bright expression from earlier changed into a perplexed one.

“She’s not the nicest person on earth but that only added up to her charm,” she carefully thought of another clue, making sure that she doesn’t give it away.

“She could scare the living daylights out of me with just one glare and make me faint with just one smile. I like how she calls me when she needs something. I feel like I’m her knight in shining armour.”

Jessica started giggling, “Sorry…please don’t mind me. I…I just imagined you wearing an armour. It did not look good… the armour I imagined was too big and you’re so small that you only reached up to the chest part. It was a headless knight.” Her giggles turned into a laughing fit.

When her laughter died down, she cleared and said, “Please continue.”

Taeyeon stared at her for a couple more seconds before speaking, “She laughs at the most absurd things and when people get hurt, she laughs like there’s no tomorrow,” she looked at Jessica tenderly but the latter didn’t notice. She was too busy chugging down the water. She must’ve been thirsty from all the laughing she did a while ago.

“But I like that about her. Her laugh makes me laugh, too. She never fails to amuse and amaze me. She’s kinda like a—“

“A clown? Clowns make you laugh, right? Or a court jester. Those people who entertain kings and queens.”

“Yeah, kinda like a clown minus the make-up. The prettiest clown. Prettiest and most amusing clown ever. I wish she could be my personal clown,” she said and played with her chopsticks.

“Do you love her?” Taeyeon looked up at Jessica who was back to staring at the meat. “The way you described her sort of sounded like you already have deep feelings for her.”

“Maybe.”

“YAY!” Jessica squealed. “I think it’s cooked. Let’s eat! I’m famished! Free food always tastes better. Do you know that?” She smiled like an innocent kid. The smile that Taeyeon adored and couldn’t get enough of.

---

“Sooyoung-ah, are you sure I didn’t tie your laces too tight?”

Sooyoung gave her two thumbs up and showed a fake smile. Her feet were hurting and she’s been rooted on the same spot for about fifteen minutes now.

Tiffany went near her and knelt. She loosened the laces a little bit which made Sooyoung let out a sigh of relief.

“Liar. You should’ve told me it was too tight. You could’ve injured yourself.”

Sooyoung could only scratch the back of her head. She didn’t really want to be a bother to Tiffany who was enjoying gliding across the huge rink.

“It won’t be fun if you just stand there. How will you learn?”

“I’m fine here, really. Watching you skate is fun.”

“You sounded like a erted ahjusshi. I’ll teach you. Come on. Move your .”

“Fany-ah, I can’t. Aaahhh!” AND she fell on her .

“Are you okay?” Tiffany asked.

“Yeah. I need some help on getting up though.”

Tiffany shook her head. “That’s lesson number one. You should know how to stand up by yourself.” She sat beside Sooyoung and demonstrated how to properly stand up. “You have to kneel like this and get back up again and gain your balance. See. Easy, right?”

“Can’t you just help me stand up?”

“No, you have to able to do that.”

Sooyoung’s first attempt wasn’t actually a fail. She was able to stand on her feet for a couple of seconds but she was wobbling too much and fell on her once again.

I have to do this or else Tiffany might think I’m such a loser for not being able to stand up.

Her second attempt was a success.

“Alright, Sooyoungie! Now, try moving,” Tiffany said.

Sooyoung tried sliding her foot but she wobbled again. She was on her once again.

“Try walking. You know how penguins walk? Walk like that.”

“But that’s not skating that’s just—“

“Trust me. You need balance so raise both your arms to the side and start walking like a penguin.”

Sooyoung tried doing that but ended up stomping on the ice. Tiffany held her hand and stopped her. “Not like that though. You’re going to create a crack on the rink if you continue doing that, silly.”

She tried again. She was learning fast and her balance is way better now.

“Now, I’ll teach you how to glide instead of walking. Form a V-shape using your feet.”

Sooyoung complied.

“Now, try sliding your foot forward. If you’re going to start with your right foot, lean on your right but not so much or you’ll tip over. Remember to raise your arms for balance.”

She obeyed Tiffany and her first try was another success. “Now try doing that over and over. See, you’re gliding.” Tiffany clapped her hands like a proud mother.

The two continued on skating for about a couple more hours. Sooyoung was indeed a fast learner. She now knows how to do a swizzle, back swizzle and glide on one foot, although, it didn’t last for more than three seconds.

“Fany-ah, I’m hungry. Can we eat now?”

Tiffany patted her in the back and said, “Yes, we can eat now since you’ve been such a good student.”

“You have to teach me how to stop like a hockey player next time.”

“Sure thing.”

The two walked towards the car and got in.

“So where do you want to eat?” Sooyoung asked.

“I’m craving for burgers and fries and sundaes…” she looked at Sooyoung and shouted “McDonald’s” in unison.

When they got there, Sooyoung ordered for them and Tiffany looked for a vacant table.

“I feel like I haven’t eaten burger for years,” Sooyoung said while putting the tray down the table.

“Me, too. McChicken sandwich is the best.” She removed the top bun and put fries on top of the burger. She replaced the top bun and put ketchup on the part where she’s going to take a bite on.

Sooyoung was eating her fries and watching the other girl like a creeper while she devours the burger.

“Why are you dipping your fries on your sundae?” Tiffany asked.

“Because it’s delicious that way.”

“It looks gross.”

“Says the person who puts fries in her burger.”

Tiffany smiled, “What? It’s delicious that way.”

She tried to dip her fries on her sundae as well. “Wow, it actually tastes good.”

“You should thank me for introducing your taste buds to a wonderful flavour,” Sooyoung smiled smugly.

“Yeah, yeah. Thanks.”

“Fany-ah.”

“Hmm?”

Sooyoung was staring at her seriously and it made her gulp.

“What if I ask you to be my girlfriend?”

Tiffany couldn’t answer. Besides the fact that was full, she really didn’t know what to say.

After swallowing the food in , she tried to speak, “Sooyoung, I—“

“You only think of me as a friend?”

Wow! She’s a mind reader.

“Sooyoung, I seriously think it won’t work out,” she said bluntly.

“Why not? What if it does work? Then we’d both be living in regret,” she smirked.

“What makes you think I’d regret it and what if it doesn’t work? We’ll break up and be bitter—“

“Why are you being pessimistic about this?” Sooyoung chuckled.

“Sooyoung, you’re a good friend but—“

“You don’t have to decide now, you know? If I wouldn’t be able to change your mind before this day ends, then I’ll stop convincing you.”

“I don’t think—“

“It wouldn’t hurt if you’d give me a chance.”

Tiffany thought about her answer and said, “I’ll tell you my answer before this day end.”

Sooyoung nodded, “1 or 0.”

“1 or 0,” Tiffany repeated. Silence engulfed the two but Sooyoung broke it after a few more minutes of awkwardness.

“Hey, sorry if I asked it while we’re eating,” she said.

“Yeah, you have such bad timing.”

Sooyoung chuckled to hide her disappointment. She knows it’s a difficult task to change Tiffany’s mind. It seemed like the girl had already made up her mind.

“Just forget about it for now and let’s enjoy the rest of our day out, yes?”

Tiffany nodded and tried not to be awkward.

“What do you want to do next?”

“How about watching a movie?”

Sooyoung checked the screen time of the movies on a cinema nearby using her phone. “I don’t think there are any good movies out.” She saw Tiffany’s reaction and quickly said, “But if you really like to watch one then we’ll do just that. I cannot assure you that I’ll be watching with you though. I’m exhausted so I might fall asleep and I might drool on you.”

Tiffany chuckled, “Is that your own way of making me laugh? I have to say it’s very unique. It’s quite gross but it’s unique”

She wasn’t making her laugh. She wasn’t even sure if what she said was funny and she was actually telling the truth so Sooyoung just laughed with her.

After they finished eating, the two went to a mall nearby and bought two tickets to see “Red Riding Hood.” Tiffany was excited to see the movie while Sooyoung pretended to be as excited as her date. Halfway through the film, the duo fell asleep.

---

“That was one of the best meals I have ever had,” Jessica exclaimed while rubbing her tummy.

Taeyeon smiled seeing another side of Jessica.

“You ready to go?”

Jessica nodded and Taeyeon asked the waitress for the bill. “Taeyeon-ah, you sure you don’t want me to pay half of it? I ate more than you did so I—“

“I said it was my treat, right? It’ll hurt my ego if I would let you pay.”

They stood up after Taeyeon paid their bill.

“I will see you again, Byeokje Galbi. I’ll make sure I would figure out who made this dwarf schmaltzy all of a sudden.”

Taeyeon looked at her in disbelief, “I am not!”

“Yes you are. The way you describe the girl you liked was so cheesy that it made me want to throw up in my mouth.”

Before Taeyeon got the chance to answer, she spotted someone approaching them. “Shinyoung-unnie!” she shouted.

“Taeyeon-ah, Jessica, what are you two doing here?”

“We just finished eating lunch unnie,” Jessica answered.

“Oh, really? Where are the other girls?”

“At home except for Sooyoung and Tiffany.”

“That means I could come over and bring food. That Sooyoung kid eats like a guy.”

Taeyeon chuckled, “Unnie, you eat like two guys.”

“Sooyoung still eats a lot.”

“I agree with you, unnie,” Jessica said. “This morning she stole most of my food. That’s why Taengoo brought me here.”

She asked Jessica if Taeyeon paid for everything and when Jessica said yes, she looked at Taeyeon and pondered as to why Taeyeon would do that. This kid hasn’t even done that to me before and we’re blood related! She should be nicer to me.

Shinyoung clapped her hands and said, “Okay kids, let’s go! So many foods. So little time. We should finish eating before Sooyoung returns.”

---

Sooyoung was still deep in slumber when someone bumped her seat. She woke up and looked at her right side. Tiffany was still sleeping.

“Fany-ah,” she said while lightly patting the other girl’s cheek. “Wake up. The movie’s over.”

Tiffany woke up and rubbed her eyes. She looked around and saw the people leaving, “The movie’s finished? We didn’t get to see the ending, Soo.” She pouted like a little kid.

“We could just google it when we get home. Seriously though, it was kind of boring but whatever, Amanda Seyfreid’s still pretty.”

On their way out of the cinema, they heard a group of friends talking loudly to each other about the movie.

“Fany, I have an idea,” Sooyoung said and whispered something to Tiffany.

Tiffany grinned mischievously and nodded her head. When they are finally out of the theatre, they started talking like the group of friends they saw earlier.

“The movie was so good. It was so touching yet tragic how they both died in the end,” Sooyoung said. She made it believable by faking a sorrowful expression.

“It was like that drama ‘Autumn in my Heart’ except their death was just,” she paused trying to find the right word, “Disgusting.”

“Yeah, it was. The way they got savagely killed by the werewolf. Not to mention the werewolf was Amanda’s father.”

The people waiting in line in front of the theatre sent glares to the duo. Sooyoung’s brilliant idea was to be a spoiler to a movie that they didn’t even finish and to alter some of the scenes.

They heard some of the people curse them which, in Sooyoung’s mind, meant they did a good job.

“Let’s play!” Tiffany suddenly exclaimed.

Sooyoung was dumbfounded.

“Let’s go to the arcade. Come on! I haven’t been able to go there for a while,” Tiffany said while dragging Sooyoung.

Why can’t we just eat the whole day instead of doing these things? Nope. Nope. Sooyoung, you should at least try and make her change her mind about you.

“Let’s play basketball, yes?,” Tiffany smiled widely. Yes, it was one of those times where Sooyoung’s mind would teleport to another dimension and she’s only capable of saying one word. Yes.

“Let’s make a bet. If I win, you can’t eat dinner. I mean, we’ll eat dinner together but you just have to watch me.”

“WHAT?!” she shouted.

Tiffany raised a brow and said, “Choi Sooyoung, you better not be shouting at me.”

“I’m sorry. It’s just that, I think that’s the worst form of torture for a person who loves food, you know? Like me.”

“Zero.”

“Excuse me?”

“My answer’s zero.” Tiffany didn’t really want to use that card but she was really curious to see Sooyoung’s expression as the latter watches her eating.

Sooyoung was mortified. “Fine. Let’s play but if I win,” she paused and smirked.

Oh no! She’s not going to—

“You have to buy me two, no make that three, three tubs of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chocolate chip and cherry vanilla.”

“Call.”

They swiped the card and pressed the button to start the game. Sooyoung was doing really good, missing some shots but her pace was good. She made a quick glance at how Tiffany’s doing and was surprised to see the girl’s score. They started at the same time but Tiffany was already ahead of her by 8 points and the lead continued to increase.

Sooyoung’s time was up while Tiffany’s time got extended because of her score. She couldn’t do anything but watch. She noticed that Tiffany’s way of shooting was quite…weird.

“I win, Sooyoung-ah.”

“I think you cheated. Why do you shoot like that? Like you’re doing some sort of chest pass. You shoot using both of your hands and you’re kind of like…throwing the basketballs.”

“I still won regardless of the way I shot those basketballs. Don’t be such a sore loser.”

Sooyoung just sighed in defeat. Aish! I should look on the bright side. I get to stare at her. She smiled at the thought.

“Besides, this is the only game I’m good at.”

That was a lie and Sooyoung was able to learn that when they played other games. The only game Tiffany didn’t do well in was those that involved car racing.

“Let’s eat dinner and go home. I’m really tired. I feel like my arms are gonna fall off,” Tiffany said while rubbing her arms.

“That’s what you get for playing five more rounds on that basketball thingy. Does it hurt a lot?” Sooyoung got a hold of Tiffany’s arm and started to massage it.

Tiffany cleared , “Let’s eat dinner and get back so both of us could rest. I don’t think our short nap inside the theatre is enough considering our activities for the day.”

“Yeah, you’re right.”

“Oh I almost forgot that you’re not allowed to eat because you’re a loser.” She smirked at the thought of seeing Sooyoung’s hungry face.

“That’s fine as long as I get to watch you eat. I’m fine,” Sooyoung said as she looked at Tiffany straight in the eyes.

Tiffany just smiled.

They went to a restaurant nearby and Tiffany immediately ordered food. She ordered food that’s good for two people but she didn’t tell Sooyoung right away that she gets to eat, too.

When she saw Sooyoung snarling at the guys looking at her, she finally told her that she gets to eat as well. She didn’t want to leave the restaurant dragging a pissed off and hungry Sooyoung.

---

When Sooyoung and Tiffany got home, they saw something in their living room that wasn’t there before they left. It was a grand piano and Yoona was leaning on it.

“Please, Hyunnie. Play that song for me. Pretty please with…sweet potatoes on top,” Yoona pleaded.

“Seohyun-ah, is that yours?” Sooyoung asked.

“It is hers. She brought it here to play for me, right, Hyunnie?” Yoona interjected.

“I brought it here so I could practice more. How’s your date unnies?”

The two looked at each other and said, “Exhausting but fun.”

“Oh, you two are back,” said Yuri. “We didn’t leave any food for you. Shinyoung-unnie said Soo—“ she didn’t have a chance to finish her statement because Shinyoung came out of the kitchen and immediately covered .

Sooyoung and Tiffany looked at them weirdly.

“I’ll rest now and leave you guys with whatever it is that you’re doing,” Tiffany said and went upstairs to her room.

Yuri followed her and asked her about her date with Sooyoung. Tiffany told her where they went and about Sooyoung asking her to be her girlfriend.

“I think you should give her a chance,” Yuri said after a few seconds of contemplating.

“Are you crazy?”

“What? Judging from how your date went, I think you should give her a chance. You said you had fun, right? You also said that you liked being with her and you’re comfortable when you two are together so there’s really no harm in trying it out. It’s not like she’s asking you to marry her.”

“I just don’t want our friendship to be ruined because of—“

“It won’t and to tell you frankly I think what she said about you regretting not giving her a chance is true. It sounded conceited but I think she’s right. Plus, I don’t think Sooyoung is the type who holds grudges.”

“I don’t know. You’re giving me a headache, Yuri-ah!” she exclaimed and buried her face on her pillow.

“Just give her an answer already. I’m sure she’s anxious to know whether you’ll give her a chance or not. Don’t prolong her agony,” Yuri said and opened the door. She was greeted by a hyper Jessica and it surprised her. It’s already late and Jessica should be sleeping but instead, here she was showing off her widest smile. “Hi, Yuri. Tiff!” she squealed and ran towards Tiffany’s bed.

“So Sooyoung was telling us about your date and how you tortured her with all those activities you asked her to do and…”

Tiffany bolted up, “I did not torture her. She agreed to do those things with me. She told you guys I tortured her?”

“Well, she didn’t exactly say that but that’s what everyone in the living room assumed. You should’ve seen her during PE class. She looked like she was going to die. Anyways, what would your answer be? You have to tell me first before you tell her,” she said while bouncing up and down on her sister’s bed like a little kid.

What did Taeng feed her? Two sacks of sugar and a hundred bags of candies? Yuri thought.

“I’m still thinking about it.”

“Aish! Just give her an answer already! It’s a simple yes or no.”

“Fine,” she pouted, “But I’ll blame it on you two if something goes wrong. I don’t want to hurt Sooyoung. She’s my friend. She’s OUR friend.”

“Why are you so~ cynical?” Jessica gave her a whack on the head.

She stood up and went out. She saw all the girls including Shinyoung in the hall and they looked like they were headed off to their rooms. “Sooyoung-ah,” she called.

“Yeah?”

Tiffany held up her index finger and Sooyoung immediately knew what it meant.

“Seriously?”

The shorter girl nodded. Everyone in the hall who witnessed the whole thing was confused including Yuri and Jessica who just got out in time for Tiffany’s answer.

What the heck does that mean? Some of them thought.

“Yuri, was that a yes or a no? What does that mean?” Jessica asked

“I don’t know. One. One syllable. Wait. Yes and no both have one syllable.”

“That means we’re a couple now, right?”

“Not really,” Tiffany answered casually.

Sooyoung got confused. “But 1 means ‘yes’ and 0 means ‘no’. You held up one finger so that means yes.”

“That’s right but my ‘yes’ means I’ll be open to the idea of us being a couple. What? You thought I was that easy?” Tiffany arched a brow again.

Sooyoung waved her hands frantically, “Of course not. It’s just that… Never mind.”

“Okay. Now that we’re clear about that how about we all get some rest. We still have classes tomorrow.” Tiffany turned around and walked towards her room but someone blocked her way.

“Jessie, I want to sleep. Could you please get out of the way?”

“Smart move, sis. I need your help,” Jessica said with gleaming eyes.

Hi. :) Started reading this again the other day because i missed it so much... pagkatapos ko basahin, it reminded me again that this will forever be one of my fav yulti fanfics. It's light and fun to read, at hindi putchu putchung pagkasulat.
I didnt get to comment much in ssf so imma say it here.
I really just love love love how you've written evrything.
Like how they actually hated each othr at first then came yuri falling for her unconciously. It was heartbreaking to read the soofany parts and yuri getting hurt. Id say u did a good job putting in the emotions into us readers.
And i love both of their characters here, both have great temper, and they argue a lot. Its boring to read about them all cheesy and stuffs so yeah i like it best when they argue.

The only thing im kinda disappointed about is u'll be ending this with an epilogue.
Coz tbh, i wanna read more of their progress. Argue even more, introducing each other to their parents, argue more, more jealousy, future talks like marriage and stuffs. And maybe a little look to their pasts like past flings esp tiffany's. And yes i am demanding like that. Lol
But i think it wouldnt happen so imma just imagine it all on my head.
And also, Pinoy ka din. So i love you na. Hahaha
I really liked it when u wrote about those Pinoy references and even choosing CamSur.
May twitter ka ba? Pahenge naman pra ma follow kita. Mehehehe
Pro basta, yun na yun. I really love this fic. And i hope you'd write more yulti ff. More Power. Fighting! :)
