The three of them – Annie, CL and Minzy – were now in Annie’s car, on their way to the so-called surprise. It was really difficult for Annie to explain the reasons of her sudden visit, but trying to convince the two to follow her was even more difficult. Annie honestly didn’t have any bad intentions though, she was just doing her job, and that job being bringing Himchan’s wife to a place where he would give her the big surprise he has been planning since forever.

Quite simple, right? Well, not really – not when you have to deal with someone called Minzy. Damn, that girl’s very protective over their leader. But that’s just the way she is. If you’re friends with Minzy, do expect her to fight for you against your enemies whenever, wherever. Besides, Himchan had entrusted her to take care of his wife for him so she’s going to do just that. For some reasons, he really trusted her guts.

After a long half-an-hour of explaining, the two finally agreed to give Annie a chance. Although she’s quite hesitant at first, Minzy somehow had a feeling that this girl could be trusted. But just in case, she insisted to come along with them so if anything bad happened to her eonnie, she would be there to kick Annie’s .

CL, on the other hand, just couldn’t stop smiling – too excited and eager to see what her husband had in store for her. She had remembered that Himchan did mention something about a surprise to her a few days ago and that’s the exact reason why he has actually been meeting Annie for the past months.

Inside the car, the three ladies bonded a little bit more. Both CL and Minzy burst into laughter when they found out about Annie’s not-so-little crush on Zelo. They found it rather adorable actually. Yes, there’s a huge age-gap between the two but who cares? Zelo’s one adorable, giant baby and nobody can deny that fact – nobody. He’s simply a noona killer.

“Man, I shouldn’t have told you about that, now you’re going to tease me just like Himchan,” Annie blushed.

“Don’t worry, everyone loves Zelo,” CL chuckled making Annie blush even more.

The three of them continued talking about random things – from their celebrity crushes to fashion, to food, to Himchan’s embarrassing moments. Himchan’s embarrassing moments… that’s the part CL enjoyed the most. How he ripped his pants right down the middle in front of everyone during their music recital, how he farted right before his first kiss was about to happen, how he would always cry every time his noona left him alone at night during thunderstorms. And who would’ve thought that the ex-ulzzang was actually overweight? Mindblown.

All three of them couldn’t stop laughing throughout the drive. It’s weird how they have bonded so fast, given the fact that they’ve only met one another for a little over an hour. Minzy couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty inside for having such negative thoughts about Annie earlier. But hey, at least now she knew that Annie wasn’t such a bad person after all. She’s actually quite cool. Minzy really wouldn’t mind to hang out with her again in the future.

“Hmm, that’s weird,” Annie frowned as she stared at her phone before shifting her focus back to the road, gaining everyone’s attention.

“What’s wrong?” asked CL, feeling a bit uneasy all of a sudden.

Annie fidgeted in her seat uncomfortably. For some reasons, she didn’t feel so good. She turned her head only to see CL looking at her with a worried expression. She gulped, her heart suddenly beating faster than before. “I-it’s Himchan,” she started nervously, “He hasn’t replied any of my texts yet.”

But before CL could say anything, Minzy’s phone suddenly rang. She immediately took her phone out of her pocket and her eyes rounded once she saw the caller-ID. It’s actually their manager. However, the weird thing was that the manager’s calling with another number – the emergency number, to be quite exact. He would never use that number unless something really urgent came up, be it good or bad. Noticing the sudden change in her expression, CL asked who was calling but Minzy just ignored her and answered the phone, “What’s wrong, oppa?”

Annie abruptly stopped the car at the side of the road and the two older females turned to Minzy, looking at her with much concentration as she talked over the phone. Both of them could somehow feel that something was wrong, something terribly wrong. “What?!” Minzy shouted as her eyes widened, “O-okay, oppa. We’ll be there soon.”

Minzy immediately hung up and shoved her phone back into her pocket before looking up at the two. Both CL and Annie seemed really uncomfortable, the nervousness was apparent in their eyes. Minzy took a deep breath before she began explaining what happened and the two gasped in shock as soon as they heard the news. Without wasting anymore time, Annie stepped on the accelerator and drove as fast as she could.

“You did what?!” cried Himchan, frustrated, “I thought I told you not to tell anyone just yet.”

“I’m really sorry, I just thought that she needed to know,” replied his manager.

Himchan just sighed. The manager’s right, CL has the right to know about everything. But it’s not like he was trying to hide anything from her. He just wanted to wait for the right time. She’s gone through enough already and he didn’t want to stress her any further, that’s all.

“That’s okay, you did great. Thank y-”

“Channie!”

Himchan didn’t even get the chance to finish what he was saying as CL came running inside and into his arms, surprising him. She hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. Even though he’s still a bit taken aback, Himchan automatically wrapped his arms around her, bringing her closer to him, and planted a kiss to the top of her head. CL then pulled away, hitting his chest hard with her tiny fist, causing him to wince.

“OW! What was that for?”

“I was really worried, you know! I really thought that you would leave me,” she pouted against his chest.

Himchan once again enwrapped her in his arms and giggled. His wife was being her adorable self again, something he’d really missed. The past few weeks have been quite stressful for both of them. They were, or more like he was too busy being cautious about the stalker that they didn't spend much quality time together. He really missed cuddling with her, having her in his arms, all the silly arguments they always had. He simply missed spending time with her.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you all worried. But hey, look at the brighter side, at least we’ve got the stalker now.”

“Really?” CL lifted her face and looked at her husband with a slightly confused expression.

Flashback…

Himchan was on his way to the surprise when he noticed a suspicious car following him from behind. Undoubtedly, he knew that it was the stalker and without second thoughts, he decided to confront him for once and for all. He quickly changed the direction of his car and headed into a nearby alleyway. He smirked through the rear-view mirror when he saw the car stopped right behind him. It was probably a risky move, but he really didn’t care. He just wanted all of this to end as quickly as possible.

Himchan immediately stepped out of the car, with the devious smirk still plastered across his face, and signaled the man to come out. He didn’t know where he got all this courage from but nothing really mattered now. All he could think of was his wife’s safety. Slowly, the man stepped out of his car and Himchan’s heart suddenly started beating faster. The man was huge. He was a few centimetres taller than him and was definitely more well-built than he was. The two just stood on their respective spots, exchanging glares for several minutes without saying anything.

“Who are you and what do you want from us?” Himchan was the first to break the silence.

The man only snickered, his brows furrowed. He then slowly, yet menacingly, took a few steps forward. This took Himchan by surprise but he remained calm. He didn’t want him to think that he was somehow intimidated by his presence. The man came closer and closer until there were only a couple inches left between them. Looking directly into Himchan’s eyes, he muttered, “I. Want. Revenge.”

Before Himchan could even grasp everything, a hard punch has already landed on his face, followed by another soon after, causing him to stumble on his feet and land on his with a thud.

“My sister loved you. She worshipped you,” the man started shouting on top of his lungs; but Himchan remained calm and silent still.

The man was about to punch him again but fortunately, Himchan managed to dodge it this time. “You were everything to her, why did you have to marry that ?!”

Okay, Himchan’s totally confused now. Who was he talking about? Did Himchan even know who his sister was? As far as he’s concerned, he only had one ex-girlfriend and that’s Hyosung. Hyosung didn’t have a brother. So who could he possibly be talking about?

“I did not marry a , I married the most amazing woman in the whole world,” Himchan retorted confidently, “And who are you talking about, anyways? Do I even know your sister?”

That ticked the man off real bad that he kicked him hard in the stomach. Himchan fell to the ground once again, clutching his stomach and yelping in pain. The man then leaned down and grabbed him by the collar tightly, “She was your biggest fan and now she’s dead! She killed herself and it’s all because of you!”

Anger and sadness filled his eyes, and Himchan couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. He felt kind of guilty too, even though he knew he did nothing wrong. Yes, B.A.P has had many die-hard fans that did countless stupid things, like stealing their underwear, but never could he have ever imagined that someone would ever take their own lives just because their favourite idol married someone else. As stupid as it might sound, it still felt wrong – so, so wrong. ‘I’m sorry’ was all that escaped Himchan’s mouth and he meant it with all his heart.

…End of flashback.

“Yes, really,” he chuckled, flicking her forehead jokingly making her pout.

CL’s being too cute that Himchan couldn’t resist kissing her soft, pouty lips. Even though it was just a quick one, the kiss was soft and sweet like a cotton candy. Kissing her was like drifting off into a cloud, it always gave him that warm, tingly feeling inside his stomach, bringing him to cloud nine. He would never, in his entire life, get tired of kissing her.

“That’s great news but look at you, your face is… ugly,” she pouted again, pointing at the visible bruises on his face.

“Geez, you’re welcome,” he remarked sarcastically.

“You shouldn’t have acted alone!”

“She’s right, you know. You could’ve gotten killed. Thank God, the manager came right on time,” Annie suddenly interrupted, startling the two – when did she get in, anyways?.

“I know, I know. I wasn’t thinking straight. I saw him following me so I didn’t want to lose the chance to confront him. Look, can’t we just drop it off? We should celebrate or something,” Himchan replied, as he rubbed the back of his neck, smiling sheepishly.

“No!” said CL and Annie in unison causing Himchan to widen his eyes in amazement.

“Whoa, are you guys twins or something?” he laughed, earning a slap on the shoulder from both females.

Minzy who was standing by the door, just sighed and shook her head as she observed the childish behaviour of her eonnies and oppa.
