After a little over a year of hiatus, 2NE1’s finally coming back with a new album – a full album for that matter. For once, YG decided to keep his words. For once, they have released their title track as scheduled. For once, there was no delay and silly excuses whatsoever. The anticipation was huge. People have been buzzing about it non-stop for the past few weeks.

But there was one particular person who was even more excited than anyone else: Kim Himchan. Well, maybe Jongup and Zelo too. They’re not only looking forward to seeing 2NE1 back on stage but also promoting with them at the same period of time for the first time ever since their debut back in early 2012. Promoting at the same time also meant that Himchan got to spend more time with his wife during the day – which have been quite a trouble these days, now that both B.A.P and 2NE1 were active again.

[CL’S POV]

Our dry rehearsals just ended and we had around an hour until the actual recording. So I decided to take a walk, hoping to get a glimpse of Himchan. I didn’t mean to be such a stalker wife but I missed him. I missed him a lot. We haven’t really got to spend time together as much for the past few weeks. Although he was injured, he still got to go for vocal lessons, fan signing events and whatnot. I, myself, have also been very busy with practice and album promotions. The only time I got to see him was late at night, at home. But then again, both of us were too tired to do anything that we mostly spent the time to rest and/or sleep.

I got out of our waiting room quietly and carefully headed to B.A.P’s waiting room. My heart was racing out of nervousness. There were a lot of people in the hallway – stylists, production crew, managers and so on. And they were staring at me like I was some kind of a criminal or something. Then I realised, I wasn’t one to wander around during a filming. I was always in the waiting room, either practicing or cracking some silly jokes with the other members. People must’ve been really shocked to see me in the hallway.

I took a deep breath as I passed by the sea of people and a few waiting rooms. Some people smiled at me, some bowed. It was kind of awkward but I replied them also with a smile and a bow. I could also see a few idols lingering around the hallway, which made me even more nervous for some odd reasons. And then I saw a guy without any shirt on and I immediately covered my eyes with my hand. I could feel my cheeks getting a little warmer. Himchan wouldn’t like it if he knew that I saw someone half-. Ha! I could already imagine his face if he was here with me. He would probably cover my entire face with his jacket or something.

Finally, I reached B.A.P’s waiting room. I didn’t get in, though. I just stood still, contemplating knocking on the door. I wasn’t sure if going in would be such a good idea. It would probably be okay if my band mates were with me but they weren’t. The door suddenly opened slightly and I could hear the boys’ voices – especially Daehyun’s, who was warming up his vocals. Then I heard some female voices. My heart sank a little but then I thought that they were probably their stylists so I just shrugged it off.

My eyes suddenly widened when I saw four ladies exiting their waiting room and they were wearing such revealing clothes. “Oh, annyeonghaseyo CL sunbae-nim,” said one of the girls politely and bowed.

“Uh… Hmm… Annyeonghaseyo,” I stuttered, a bit taken aback.

“We’re SISTAR and we really look up to 2NE1 sunbae-nims. Please look after us and congratulations on your comeback,” said another girl and I just bowed awkwardly before thanking them.

They bowed one last time before leaving, most probably back to their waiting room. I was still in a bit of a shock that I didn’t realise Himchan was at the door, staring at me. “Ahem,” I finally got back to my senses when he cleared his throat.

He was smiling that beautiful smile of his and I couldn’t help but to smile back at him. “What are you doing, hyung? Oh, it’s CL noona,” Zelo suddenly appeared, interrupting our moment.

Himchan turned and gave him a death glare while I just chuckled, still frozen on the same spot since the last ten minutes or so. The boys were about to invite me in when a group of boys stopped me. “Annyeonghaseyo, we’re from BTS,” said one of them.

He was cute and he seemed really young. Probably younger than Zelo. Like before, I replied them with a smile and a polite bow. Interacting with other idols was pretty awkward for me but somehow I was happy. Most groups wouldn’t even dare coming near us so I was kind of touched that these boys were brave enough to say hello. “We’re a rookie group and we really look up to YG Family. So we’re wondering if we could visit your waiting room later to give you our CD?” asked the boy with a cute smile.

“Yes, that would be great. The other members would be really happy to meet our juniors. You can stop by in like… ten minutes?” I replied and the boys screamed excitedly, thanking me eagerly before leaving.

They were really cute that I couldn’t stop smiling looking at them being all excited and whatnot. I was too engrossed in the moment that I’ve forgotten all about Himchan. “Are you cheating on me right in front of my eyes?” Himchan finally spoke up and he looked rather pissed – which I though was kind of cute, to be honest.

“What if I am?” I teased.

“Fine. Do whatever you want,” he replied with a pout before turning his back on me.

“Ya! I was joking, all right? You know you’re number one in my heart,” I said softly as I grabbed his hand, turning him around to face me.

He just kept quiet. His eyes looking somewhere else but me. “I missed you, silly,” I said again, this time with a weaker voice.

I looked down on the ground, as tears slowly building up in my eyes. I haven’t cried in such a long time so I, myself, was a bit surprised that I did. I guess I really did miss him so much. “I missed you too,” he said softly as he lifted my chin up, “A-Are you crying? Why are you crying? Please stop crying. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you,” he panicked.

“I wasn’t upset with you, silly. I-I guess I really have missed you,” I sighed and Himchan immediately pulled me into his embrace.

We stayed like that for a moment, totally ignoring the fact that people might see us. Thankfully, no one was in the hallway. It’s kind of weird, though. There were a lot of people just a few minutes ago and now the hallway was completely empty. It was almost too good to be true. But still, it was a total relief. “I’ve to go back. The others might be worried about me since I kind of snuck out,” I chuckled.

“You snuck out just to see me? Aww, I feel so honoured,” he said in a teasing manner.

I pushed him away and stuck my tongue out before walking away, heading back to our waiting room. “See you later, Channie. The BTS boys are probably on their way to see us now,” I one last time and his shocked expression was beyond epic.

The filming for the music show finally ended after a good eight hours. Everyone was exhausted. Some lucky ones were eager to go home and get their much-needed rest while some others had another schedule waiting for them. That’s the life of an idol for you.

CL was the last one to leave their waiting room. She looked quite surprised when she saw no one in the hallway. Not even a single person in sight. It was really quiet, it’s scary. But CL being CL, she just shrugged it off and walked away coolly. She was about to reach the back door when someone grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her into the emergency exit.

“Ya! You scared me!” she cried with wide eyes.

“Sorry, I really didn’t mean to,” Himchan chuckled.

CL just rolled her eyes and pouted her lips. Himchan chuckled again before pressing his lips against hers. CL was a bit taken a back but it only took her a few seconds to kiss him back. Their kiss was needy yet still very slow and gentle. “Gosh, how I’ve missed that so much,” said Himchan with his y, deep voice after pulling away.

CL’s face suddenly turned so red. It really amazed her how he always managed to make her feel like a teenage girl all over again every time they touched or kissed. Himchan giggled looking at his wife, who seemed to be in her own trance. “Ya! Are you even listening to me?” he asked, waving his hand in front of her face.

“Uh, sorry about that. I was- I was-,” she stuttered, avoiding Himchan’s gaze.

“You’re being so cute again, Lee Chaerin. And I don’t think I can handle that,” he sighed and CL just kept quiet, her face getting warmer and warmer every second, “Anyways, aren’t you going to congratulate us? We just won our very first mutizen, you know,” he continued, looking at her with suspicious eyes.

That’s right! After almost two years in the industry, B.A.P finally won their very first mutizen award. The boys were a crying mess both on and off stage, especially the leader and the maknae. Yeah, who would’ve thought that the charismatic leader would cry so much like a baby. But Yongguk deserved every right to do so for he really worked hard in producing great songs for the group. In fact, every member worked really hard and played their respective roles really well.

A smile suddenly crept onto CL’s face. She was actually really happy for her husband and the boys. She even nearly jumped and hugged them on stage when they announced the winner but sadly, she had to hold it back. She mentally face palmed herself for forgetting to congratulate them later on but now that she finally got the chance, she didn’t intend to waste it.

She wrapped her hands around Himchan’s neck and pulled him closer for another kiss. It wasn’t as needy as the previous one but it was definitely more passionate, with a little tongue fight involved. Himchan pulled away after a few moments, a bit taken aback. “Whoa, whoa, whoa, someone’s being so impatient here,” he chuckled.

“Well, congrats?” replied CL shyly.

“So that’s your way of congratulating me? I hope you won’t do the same with the others,” Himchan replied, frowning a little.

“I wasn’t going to but now that you mentioned it….” CL teased and Himchan immediately kissed her again.

“Don’t you even think about kissing other guys. These- lips- are- mine,” he said between kisses.

CL laughed her heart out at his cuteness. “And- these- lips- are- mine,” she repeated what he just did and now it’s Himchan who was blushing.

Himchan hugged his wife tightly once the pulled away from their kiss, not wanting to let go. He just wanted to stay like this for a while. His fingers slowly traced her soft and now jet-black hair as she inhaled his musky scent. Their hearts were beating faster and faster by the second. “I’m definitely going to miss this,” Himchan sighed.

CL instantly pulled away and looked at him with confused eyes. “We’re going away for fan signing events, remember?” said Himchan, half sighing.

“Oh, yeah. I totally forgot about that. How long are you going to be away?” asked CL, with a tint of sadness in her eyes.

“We have a fansign in Busan tomorrow, then in Gwangju the next day and umm… I also have some unfinished business that I need to handle so most probably a week?” replied Himchan.

“A week?!” cried CL, startling Himchan a little, “Well, time flies. You’ll be back before we know it!” she continued with a surprisingly happy tone.

Himchan couldn’t help but to chuckle. “This is one of the reasons why I love you,” he said with a giggle, “You always think positive.”

“Well, that’s CL for you,” she chuckled.

“I know, I know. And I’m so blessed to have you as my wife,” he replied with a smile.

“I love you, Kim Himchan,” she gave him a soft peck on the lips.

“I love you too, gorgeous. Please take care of yourself while I’m away,” he said softly, “And you should probably stay with the girls. I don’t want you to get so lonely without me.”

“Don’t worry about me, silly. I’ll be fine. I’m CL, remember? People are scared of me,” she laughed, “You should be the one to be more careful. I want to see you back in one piece, understood? No more broken bones. I don’t even want to see a single cut on your body,” she continued.

“Yes, ma’am,” Himchan replied and kissed her forehead gently, “We should get going. Our managers are probably in panic mode right now,” he chuckled and CL nodded in agreement.
