Chapter 20

Eun Mi was sitiing on one of the chairs inside the bubble tea café near their house. After almost an hour of being dragged by Kris, they finally stopped at the comforts of Eun Mi’s favorite shop. She rubbed her sore feet while waiting for Kris with their drinks. Eun Mi winced at the memory of what happened at Luhan’s house earlier

“Yeah. I think Eun Mi’s a bit tired. I’ll take her home now” Kris said to Luhan’s mother

“Go ahead” she said with a sly smile as Kris dragged Eun Mi out of the house

“What? Kris! Where are you going!” Luhan said in chinese.

After that incident, Kris practically dragged her in search of somewhere “peaceful”, according to Kris, where they could talk. Kris, being a foreigner didn’t know the best place to go, where both of them ended going to weird and creepy places that Eun Mi, in her whole life living in Seoul, didn’t even know such places existed. They entered several café’s that looked pleasant but sold weird stuff such as turtle’s blood for a drink and employees wearing disturbing costumes. After several more weird shops, Kris finally gave Eun Mi the benefit of choosing a store where they could actually get something nice.

 “I never knew there were so many weird stores around here” Kris Said when he arrived at their table, laying down the drinks he ordered for both of them.

“Same Here” Eun Mi said, still rubbing her feet.

“I’m sorry about that. Next time, where something comfortable” he said, pointing at her feet.

“These are my most comfortable ones. My feet just couldn’t take being dragged nonstop” she replied almost in annoyance.
