Luhan POV

Things went well for the past week. After much time of cleaning, arranging and re-arranging, the house is finally spick-and-span, my room was also done, the neighborhoods nice, I’m finally going back to school tomorrow, and I get to hear Jia Li’s voice every night. We talk mostly of random stuff. Well, I do most of the talking. She likes listening more than talking, which is what I love most about her. I sometimes talk for hours and she’d happily listen and end up sleeping on my shoulders. She’s the quiet type but she becomes sharp when she’s angry especially when she’s jealous. I can’t help but smile when I remember our conversation last night

‘So, how’s moving going?’ a voice said at the other end of the line. Luhan was lying at his bed, staring at the ceiling. He was talking to Jia Li. He held his phone on his right ear and held a rubrik cube with the other hand.

‘It’s going fine, we’re almost done. Just a little re-arranging left.’

‘That’s great! I miss you…’ she said, whispering the last part

Luhan found himself smiling. ‘I miss you more bǎo bèi.I want to take you out here someday’

‘I’d love that! I hear there are lots of places for lovers there’ she said with a hint of excitement

‘Yes, there are lots of romantic places here…’

Luhan told stories about all the famous romantic spots in Seoul. He was blabbering for 5 minutes about all the places he wants to take Jia Li to that he failed to notice that the other end of the line fell silent. He stopped talking and waited for her voice, thinking that she already fell asleep.

‘Jia Li?’ he waited for her reply

‘Hmmm?’ she finally said

‘A penny for your thoughts’ it fell silent for a while once more

‘bǎo bèi…promise me…’ she started ‘…you won’t visit those places with another girl’

A chuckle left Luhan’s lips. ’Someone’s getting a little bit insecure’ he laughed softly

‘You’re not promising Luhan’ she said monotonously

‘bǎo bèi, Chill, Okay? That will never happen’ he said, feeling victorious because his girlfriend was jealous for no reason at all.

‘You’re still not promising!’ she said worriedly
