“Inhaler.” Kris stated as Jungah slung her purse around her shoulder, her secretary took off with her luggages.

“Got it.” She grinned. Kris nodded and pulled her cardigan closer to her.

“Don’t try to burn the kitchen or something.”

Kris rolled his eyes at her, but he just kissed her forehead.

“Stay safe, Wu Feilin.” He mused.

“Bye, Wu Yifan.”

Luhan nodded along as Yixing and Dahae talked.

“So you’re starting tomorrow?” Lay asked.

“Yes, uncle was pretty happy I decided to work for him.” She smiled.

“Well, it’s unfortunate Jungah had to leave, don’t hesitate to call us when you need our help.” Luhan offered.

“It’s okay ge, I’m sure I’ll manage.” Dahae smiled. Then Kris walked to their table with Yejin.

“I saw him on his way here.” Yejin said as they sat down.

“Jungah called earlier, she said China welcomed her with a blizzard.” Luhan said. Kris smiled, he knew of course. The moment she landed, she called him first.

“Anyway, Yejin-ah, are you busy today?” Luhan asked.

“A little, I have to check on a few things for my father, why?”

“Right, ge, I was wondering, how do I get to Hongdae?” Dahae looked up.

“Hongdae? Why would you want to go there?” Lay asked.

“I’ve read about the place in blogs, I want to see it.”

Kris nodded.

“Well, Yixing and I can take you there.” Yejin offered.

“Not busy?” Lay asked as Kris and him walked a few steps behind Dahae and Yejin.

“Not really, how is everything?” Kris asked.

“So so, right, Jungah did mention the Gala to you right?”

“She did.”

Lay sighed.

“She might get too stressed about it, I still don’t get why agung left such an event to her.”

Kris smiled.

“Yixing?” Yejin turned to him, Lay smiled and walked to his wife. Dahae stepped back slightly as Lay walked to Yejin. Kris exhaled and he walked to her.

“When’s Jungah coming back?” Dahae asked softly.

“Two weeks, she asked me to~”

“I know, that’s typical of her, don’t worry.” She nodded.

Kris didn’t say anything.

“Kris, about before…” Dahae’s brows furrowed as she felt her cheeks flush.

“Dahae, don’t…bring that up please.”

Dahae’s eyes widened in shock, there was something so harsh about his tone.

“I just want to be friends, Kris.”

“Fine, if you want to be friends, but please don’t bring those memories up.”

“Will it matter if I tell you I still have feelings for you all these years?”

Kris looked at her straightly.

“No. Jungah’s my world now.”

Dahae bit back her tears.

“You left me at Canada, Kris.”

Kris just shook his head at her.

Jungah rubbed her eyes groggily as she reached for her phone.

“Kris?” She muttered as she picked it up.

“Did I wake you up?”

“What do you think?”

Kris chuckled from the other line.

“I just missed you.”

“It’s like….five a.m., I miss you too and can you please call back later?” Jungah grumbled.

“Hey, when you get back, I have something to tell you.”

“Okay,” She yawned.

“Go back to sleep, call me later.” Kris chided softly.

“Hm, later, tower.”
