Worlds Collide: The Aftermath
Jinhee and Luhan were the first ones to leave; Jinhee got tired easily due to her pregnancy. Jungah and Yejin were having the time of their lives while munching on the cake.
“I don’t get it.” Chanyeol said as he joined them.
“What?”
“That Dahae lady.”
“That lady, is our friend, oppa.” Jungah rolled her eyes.
“Well, I don’t like her.” Chanyeol crossed his arms. Yejin just laughed.
“Why is that?” Yejin asked.
“I don’t know, she…”
“Jungah?” Kris’s deep voice could be heard. Jungah put her fork down and walked out.
“Hey.” Dahae looked up as Jungah joined them.
Kris had been growing uncomfortable when he was left with just Lay and Dahae. He didn’t like it. He needed Jungah to calm him down.
“We have a meeting tomorrow, mei.” Lay said.
“Yeah, I heard. But ge, can’t I at least be excused?” She asked as she sat beside Kris. Kris just leaned his chin on her shoulder.
“Wei shenme?”
“I want to show Dahae around. It’s been a while since we last hung out. Right?” Jungah smiled at Dahae.
Kris’s brows furrowed but her just pressed his nose on the side of her neck briefly.
“Huh.” Lay eyed her warily.
“I promise I’ll attend the conference.” She nodded wistfully.
“Can we go now?” Kris whispered. Jungah nodded.
“Hao le, don’t forget to show Dahae the Namsan Tower at night too, mei.”
“Something bothering you?” Jungah asked as Kris pulled over in front of a Baskin Robbins store. She got off the car and started walking to the shop.
“Nothing.” Kris replied, Jungah looked around them. Kris turned heads wherever they went. She saw a few females eye him as they entered the shop.
“You can sit down, I’ll get you something.” Kris nodded to her before walking towards the counter. Jungah grinned playfully as she walked to him and wrapped one arm around his waist.
“I should probably mark my territory or something.” She chuckled.
“What?” Kris asked as he took out his wallet.
“Nothing, Wu Yifan.”
“Are you okay with living alone?” Jungah asked as she maneuvered the streets of Seoul with ease.
“Yes, it’s a new thing for me.” Dahae smiled.
“Well, I’m here if you need any help. So any places you want to go?”
“You sure I’m not disturbing you from work?”
“Come on, Dahae, I promised I’d show you around.” She chuckled.
“Fine, you can just bring me anywhere.”
Jungah nodded.
“But, when did you get married?” Dahae asked.
“About…eight months ago.”
“Really? You…married well, Xi Feilin.”
Jungah smiled.
“Ya, no questions for me, I should be the one asking things. Have you been sing someone lately?” She asked.
“Hmm, no. But there was......one guy.”
