Worlds Collide: The Aftermath
Jungah’s eyes doubled in size as she watched the video of her cousin at her laptop. She was inside the master bedroom at the newly furnished Hannamdong house. Kris managed to get it done a few days after they arrived from China.
“He…went…over the top.”
“What he did was right.” Kris shrugged as he sat beside her.
“But…Dahae~”
“Does being pregnant make you soft hearted?” Kris smiled as he leaned his chin on her shoulder.
Jungah grunted.
Lay had released the video of Dahae stealing files from Jungah’s office, resulting for her to be in question to the law and of course, people were starting to doubt her a lot.
And of course, all the rumors about the couple were cleared along.
“Well, let’s put that away.” Kris said as he closed the laptop.
“So..that Unicef party~”
“It’s assigned to Yejin. I think she’s having fun, despite all the stress.”
Jungah nodded as she leaned back.
“Should we eat out?” Kris asked.
“We should have pizza.” She smiled.
“Okay, right, ma called, she said she’ll drop by tomorrow.”
Jungah chuckled, they had met the Wu elders yesterday and agung, and they were more excited than them about the Jungah’s pregnancy.
“Did I get any calls today? I asked secretary Song~”
Kris shook his head at her.
“I still have a few things left un~”
“You were fired, remember?” He mused as he briefly kissed her cheek.
“How could you ask my own grandfather to fire me?” She grumbled. Kris smiled and gently placed his hand on her belly.
“It’s for a good reason. I want you and the baby to be healthy.”
“I’ll go crazy if I don’t do anything.” Jungah whined.
“I bought you a PS3.” Kris chuckled.
Jungah just groaned and plopped down on the bed. Kris chuckled and switched on the television.
Then he leaned back and placed one arm on her waist lightly.
Six months later
“Unnie.” Jungah smiled at her sister-in-law as Luhan and Jinhee walked in their house.
“Looking good, mei.” Luhan smiled and pinched her cheek.
“You mean looking round.” Jungah said dryly. Jinhee chuckled and took her by the arm.
“So, how’s everything, Jungah? I heard Chanyeol’s getting married.”
Jungah smiled.
“Yeah, by next year. He called me a few days ago.”
“That’s good then, have you thought about the names yet?”
Jungah shook her head.
“Not yet, unnie. But ~”
“Jinhee.” Kris appeared by the stairs and walked to them.
“Congratulations, Kris, having twins is a rare gift.” She smiled.
Kris smiled back and placed one arm around his waist.
“Thanks, are you feeling better now?” He asked. Jinhee nodded.
“Right, unnie, you’re due in a month! You should be sitting down.” Jungah nodded.
“Jungie!” Yejin chirped as she joined Jungah and Luhan at the living room.
“You look…tired.” Jungah commented.
“Thanks to that party.” Yejin rolled her eyes at her.
“But it’s good that it’s all over now, you look…wow, you’re glowing.” Yejin chuckled.
“Sit down, Lee. You’re so~”
“Hey mei.” Lay walked in the room still clad in his business suit, he leaned down and squeezed her shoulder before joining his wife.
“So…twins!” Lay smiled.
“Yixing.” Kris nodded as he joined them.
“I asked agung if he could come, I think he is.” Luhan nodded.
“Right, Yongguk called.” Jungah said.
Kris looked at her warily.
“What?” Jungah grinned at him.
“He just asked me if I was doing well, definitely nothing about drag racing.”
