You stretched a bit in your living room, preparing to go out for your morning run. You have been training for a marathon for a while now. Even though you weren’t really much of a runner, you had made a goal to run a marathon a few years ago.

When Seungho found the list of things you wanted to accomplish, he asked why you hadn’t run a marathon yet. You didn’t really have a good reason, just that it was one of the things you hadn’t gotten to yet. “Why don’t we do it together then?” He said happily.

Now here you were, a couple of months later, training for it by yourself. Seungho’s busy schedule made it difficult for you to run together most days, though he did try to run with you once a week. To your amusement, you could practically run circles around him now. When you began running together, you were at an almost equal level. Now that you had been running everyday and him only a couple of times a week, your endurance was much better.

“Jagi! Are you going running?” Seungho asked, sounding surprisingly away for this early in the morning.

“Yes, if I take breaks I’ll give up. If I keep up my routine, I’ll be ready to run the marathon in a couple of months!” You said with a smile.

“I’m going to come with you!” He hurried back into the bedroom to change. You continued to stretch while you waited for him. When he emerged, he was wearing the running pants that matched yours. When you had both started training, you got a little excited and bought matching workout clothes. You smiled at the idea of running together in your couple outfits.

After helping him stretch, you both headed out the door and began jogging down the street. You made it a few miles in before you could tell Seungho was getting tired. You weren’t yet at half of what you wanted to run today, but you didn’t want to exhaust Seungho; he still had his schedules later today.

“Why don’t we head back now Oppa. I’m feeling a little sore.” You said, trying not to draw attention to the fact you had noticed his fatigue setting in. He nodded and the two of you turned around, heading for home.

As you got closer to your apartment, Seungho was slowing down. You ran at his pace, hoping he wouldn’t realize you were slowing down too. When you arrived home, you began stretching again and helped Seungho do so as well.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t run as long as you Jagi,” he said softly. You could tell he felt bad for not being able to keep up with you when he was the one that encouraged you both to start training together.

“It’s alright Oppa. The fact the we can go running together for a little bit is enough. It’s nice to be able to run with you.” You said reassuringly.

“Even if I’m slow?” He asked.

“Even if you’re a bit slow,” you smiled. You laughed at each other as you finished stretching. “At least it gave us a chance to wear our couple workout clothes again.”

“We may not be the fastest couple out running, but we were definitely the cutest, right?” He said with a bit of confidence.

“We were definitely the cutest. Who can be cuter than us?” You said, making a bit of an aegyo face at him. Seungho tensed up a bit.

“Alright, time to shower now. Off you go,” he pushed you towards the bathroom, both of you laughing.
