You hurried around your apartment getting ready for your date with your boyfriend, Changsun. He had called you earlier and left a voicemail with instructions for your Christmas Eve date.

“Jagiya~ I’ll be home early tonight so I’m going to take you out on a date. Be dressed for going outside, okay? I can’t wait to see you.”

You were now running around to find your cute, warm clothes. Somehow your sweater, scarf and gloves had all ended up in different rooms of your apartment. You had dressed in your cutest clothes, hoping to impress your boyfriend. The two of you had been dating for over a year, but you still liked to try and dazzle him.

“Jagiya! I’m home! Are you almost ready for our date?” Changsun called as he came in. You came out from the bedroom to show off for him. You spun around and smiled at him. “Whoa! You look gorgeous Jagi! You dressed up this much just for me?” He took your hand, spinning you slowly so he could take in your beauty.

“Really Oppa?” You asked, blushing.

“Of course Jagi! I wouldn’t lie to you.” You wrapped your arms around his neck, smiling. “You look so cute Jagi, I don’t know how I got so lucky to get you.” You blushed again before going up on your toes to kiss his lips. When you pulled back, Changsun smiled at you.

“Let’s go! There is a lot to see!” He took your hand and led you outside. The two of you took a cab to the park nearby. When you got out, you were surprised to see it lit with Christmas lights. You were awestruck by how beautiful it looked. Changsun took your hand, slowly leading you around the park.

The two of you stopped at various booths to look at what the vendors were selling. After about half an hour, you went to a merchant selling hot chocolate. You each got a cup before continuing around the park. Changsun held your hand the entire time. You smiled at him, happy that he thought of coming here for a date.

“Jagi!” He practically yelled suddenly. “Let’s do that!” Changsun was pointing at horse drawn carriages. Your jaw dropped at how magical it looked.

“Okay Oppa.” He dragged you over to the horses, choosing the carriage he thought was the prettiest. He helped you climb in before joining you. The carriage had a pile of blankets on the seat that you could use to help keep you warm during the ride. Changsun tucked them around both of you, before wrapping his around your shoulders, holding you close.

“Isn’t it pretty to see the lights like this Jagi?” You stared out at the park before looking back at him.

“It’s wonderful Oppa. This is the best Christmas Eve date you could’ve ever come up with. You turned to look at him. He was staring at your face. You blushed and looked down. Changsun reached up to push some of your hair behind your ear. He placed his hand under your chin and leaned down to kiss you again. You pulled back quickly.

“Oppa! What are you doing? We’re in public!” You blushed again, covering your cheeks to hide the color.

“Look up Jagi” he said giggling. You pointed above you and you noticed the carriage was passing under decorations that draped across the street. There was a large, mistletoe display made of lights hanging above you. You laughed before shifting back to him.

You wrapped your arms around his neck, leaning in to kiss him again. You deepened the kiss, enjoying the moment. Changsun broke the kiss. He the side of your face just as the carriage came to a stop. He hopped out of the carriage first so that he could help you out. He took your hand, wrapping it around his arm to keep you close.

“Why don’t we go home Jagi? We can do something else to celebrate the holiday.” He whispered close to your ear. You giggled at him, but you both hurried to find a cab and go home.
