Chapter 4

Taeyeon’s POV

Like I was saying, I have to get my ring from Jessica. Why is that? Let me tell you what happened.

[FLASHBACK]

“OMO! That was delicious!” I exclaimed in delight like an ahjumma while rubbing my belly. Jessica never left my side hence she got to see me like this. I saw her cover with her hand and giggled cutely. It was embarrassing so I tried to act cool and flashed my signature dorky smile but a loud burp quickly escaped my mouth after I did so. This only made Jessica laugh more but she still retained her cuteness in the process.

“Hehe.” I lowered my head in shame and smiled sheepishly. Why do things like this happen whenever I try to look cool? I don’t know why she’s still laughing. Maybe she’s a very cheerful person or she just has a shallow laughter. While I was thinking about it, I noticed that she moved closer to me again and told me, “Mistress, you have something stuck between your teeth.”

“Eh?” Dammit Kim Taeyeon, how many times do you plan to embarrass yourself tonight!?

I was about to leave my table to go to the washroom but she stopped me again. She took out something from her pocket. Judging by its appearance, I can tell it’s a toothpick. She peeled off the packaging and brought the mini stick close to my mouth.

“N-no! I’m fine Sica-ssi. I can do this by myself.” I backed away a bit. I’m not really used to being treated like this.

“Mistress, what did I tell you earlier? I am your servant tonight so let me do this please?” She insisted. Her pink lips pouted. Her chocolate brown eyes had this so-called Puss-in-Boots effect.  I didn’t want to disappoint her further so I just smiled and nodded.

“Can you open your mouth please?” She demanded and I obeyed her request. Awkwardness began to dissipate in the air as I opened my mouth. I just stared at her while she brought her hand with the toothpick to remove the foreign thing between my teeth. I felt her soft finger touch my upper lip as she did so. Once again, her lips formed a sweet smile before she returned to where she sat earlier.

I glanced at my watch and my eyes almost popped out when it read 11:30 PM. Fudge! Good thing I’m not in a dormitory anymore or else, I’m gonna sleep on the streets tonight.
