Kangin rang the doorbell and a half skinny boy answered it.

'Who is it, Taemin?' Sungmin's voice came from upstairs.

'I think that friend that would bring your clothes?' The boy yelled back.

'I'm no friend of his.' Kangin mumbled.

The bag was grabbed from his hands by Sungmin. The nurse was clearly upset about something. 'Sit' He said curtly.

'No time, I have a job to do.'

'Sit.' Min just repeated and grabbed three bowls. He filled them with soup and handed it over.

'Taeminnie, this is Kangin.'

'Aren't you with the security team of the hospital?' Taemin asked.

'Something like that.' Kangin said before he took a sip of the soup.

'Why are you so cranky?' Min suddenly asked.

Kangin just looked up at him.

Min sighed. 'You are such an impossible man.'

'Hyung!' Taemin exclaimed.

Min ignored the younger and kept staring at the bodyguard.

'I-I'm going to leave.' Taemin said. He quickly grabbed some stuff, pulled a shirt on and left.

'See? Your presence makes people run away.' Sungmin said.

'What was he doing here?' Kangin asked.

Min's foxy eyes twinkled. 'Jealous?'

'Not at all.' Kangin took another sip.

Min's eyes narrowed. He was not pleased with that answer. 'You don't care if I'm having ?'

Kangin's spoon was bent, he quickly hid it. 'Why should I?'

'I thought you might be interested in me.' Min said, the strength leaving his voice.

Kangin got up. 'I have to go.'

Sungmin entered room 201.

'Where is nurse Donghae?' The patient asked.

'I'm sorry Mr. Choi, he has a day off. I'll have to do.'

The light in the man's eyes died a little.

Min sighed. 'He'll be back tomorrow morning, sir.'

'He's a good boy.'

'Yes, the best.'

Sungmin was teaching Taemin how to check IVs when they heard the noise of a struggle. The nurse immediately followed the sound and entered Mr. Choi's room. A stranger was trying to strangle the patient.

'Hey!' Sungmin yelled.

The attacker turned around, grabbed something from his pocket and pain flashed through Min as a knife went by him and scratched his arm open. Taemin screamed and quickly alerted security. The attacker fled the scene.

'Check the patient.' Min instructed Taemin.

'Hyung, you are bleeding.'

'Check the patient first, damn it!'

Heechul entered Hyuk's house, dragging Kyu with him.

Hyuk and Hae who were watching TV together looked up as they heard the two enter.

'Sorry, I tried to stop him.' Kangin said to Hyuk as he walked in.

Heechul took in the cozy scene of the two husbands curled up together on the couch. He sighed as he mentally cursed the bad timing.

Hyuk saw something had happened. 'What's wrong?'

'There was some commotion at the hospital.' Heechul said.

Hae jumped up. 'What happened?'

'A patient got attacked.'

'Who?'

'The one from room 201.'

Hae paled. 'Is he alright?'

'Yes. Sungmin got hurt though.'

Kangin stumbled back. Hae just grabbed Heechul. 'What?!'

'A knife cut his arm, he's getting stitches as we speak.'

Hae looked shocked and turned to his husband.

'We'll go there.' Hyuk stated.

'Hyuk, is it safe?' Kyu said calmly.

'The attack was not against Hae. His friend got hurt. No discussion.' Hyuk said.

'I want to come along.' Kangin spoke.

Hae checked the wound. 'Dr. Oh treated it?'

Min nodded.

'Good.'

'What possessed you to interfere?!' Kangin suddenly burst out.

Hyuk frowned and wanted to order Kangin to leave but Hae signaled him to let it be.

'We protect our patients.' Min said.

'At the cost of your own life?'

'I'm not dead.'

'You could have been! You are so damn irresponsible!' Kangin yelled.

Hae pulled Hyuk out of there.

'What's with Kangin?' Hyuk was shocked at his behaviour.

Hae smiled. 'He cares.'

'Well I'm not your responsibility, so off!' They heard Min yell. It sounded as if he was close to crying.

'Please.' Kangin said softly.

Min looked up, his usually playful eyes all misty with tears.

'Please don't cry. I'm sorry, it's just that I could have lost you today.'

'Why would that matter? I'm not Donghae.' Min sniffed.

Kangin closed in. 'No more sleeping around, ok?'

'I don't.'

'Then earlier....'

'Taemin needed a place to crash, nothing happened.'

'You made me believe...' Kangin bit his lip and inhaled some air to calm himself. He cupped Min's face. 'Are you alright?'

'Yeah, but why do you suddenly care?'

'You can't just flirt with a guy and then leave him in the cold.' Kangin said, staring at those lips. 'And then you almost get yourself killed. Tell me what I should do with you, Minnie?'

Min's eyes widened, then they started to sparkle. 'A kiss would be nice.'

Kangin smirked and leaned in, forcing himself to be gentle.
