When was the last time that I had a goodnight’s sleep?

I glanced at the bedside clock and sighed. It was midnight.

Maybe a bowl of late night chocolate ice cream might help. Ehehehe.

I got off the comfortable bed, taking note that Haemi was sleeping soundly. The whole house was impressively quiet as I made my way to the kitchen.

One of the few perks of being ‘Mrs Bang’ is probably the unlimited stock of chocolate ice cream in the fridge – just like I demanded.

I took a tube out and poured chocolate fudge all over it. Mmmm. Nothing better than extreme-chocolaty-chocolate-goodness.

I was helping myself with a spoonful when I heard the front door click open, followed by a pair of footsteps getting closer. Probably Apepig had cooled down from our previous scream ‘n shout session about the whole I-wanna-get-out-of-this-hell thing.
