The Orphanage III
In love with Miss Imposter"Hey Sulli ah come here." Ahjuma signalled. Jooyeon left the stew to Taemin and went over. "What's up ahjuma?" she asked.
"Come on sit down." Ahjuma gestured. "Tell me about this calling you Sulli thing and your husband."
"He isn't my husband!" Jooyeon blushed and began telling ahjuma the whole story.
...
"So you're not going to get married to him? You're just spying on him?" ahjuma asked ridiculously.
Jooyeon nodded. "Yeah. But for now I'm just pretending to be Sulli Eonni. When Sulli Eonni comes back from Busan, I'll have to go back to being Kwon Jooyeon." she said sadly.
Ahjuma held on to her hand. "I don't know what that Mr Choi is thinking! This imposter thing could seriously harm people!"
Jooyeon looked up puzzled. "Harm?"
"You and Taemin. Jooyeon ah, promise me if anything happens you'll tell me okay? The orphanage will always be here for you." Ahjuma smiled.
Jooyeon nodded appreciatively and went back to Taemin. Both of them bickered while deciding what ingredients to put into the stew.
Ahjuma smiled bitterly.
*Jooyeon ah, both of you may not know it, but both of you are already in love with each other. When the time comes that you must leave him, it will hurt a lot for you.
To see your Sulli Eonni together with the boy you love.
And Taemin, it will hurt that the girl you fell in love in wasn't the one you thought she was. When you finally realised that you love her, she won't be the one you are marrying.*
Ahjuma sighed. WHAT IS THAT MR CHOI THINKING.
"Say ahhh!" Jooyeon said.
"AHHHHH!!!" the group of children opened their mouths.
Taemin and Jooyeon went around feeding all of them, popping spoonfuls of rice in their mouths.
"Is it good?" Taemin asked.
"MAA!" the group of children smiled and clapped.
Jooyeon chuckled and blew on the soup to make it less hot. "Say ahhh!" Taemin said to her.
"Huh?" she turned. Taemin took the chance and fed her the stew.
"It was Ah not Huh!" Taemin teased.
Jooyeon closed and drank the stew, blushing furiously. The sides of had some stew stuck on it.
Taemin saw and used his hands to wipe it off. "Aigoo. You're as untidy as these kids!" he smiled.
Jooyeon looked away embarrased and returned her attention to the kids. "Say AHH!" she said to Hyukkie.
"AHH!" Hyukkie ate his rice happily.
"Sulli ah~~~" Taemin whined. "Why are you feeding another guy besides your husband!"
Jooyeon turned round in surprise. "Another guy? He's just a kid! And you're not my husband!"
"I don't care. I want you to feed me." Taemin pouted.
Jooyeon ignored him and continued feeding the kids. "Aigoo so cute!" Jooyeon pinched Hyukkie's cheek when he sneezed.
Taemin felt the sudden urge to murder the child. Who was he to snatch her attention away from him!
Soon, it was time to go.
"Bye ahjuma! Bye kids!" Jooyeon waved, blinking back tears.
"Pretty Noona! Don't go!" Kangho cried.
Jooyeon went to him and wiped his tears. "Don't cry Kangho ah! I'll come again don't worry!"
"Tomato Oppa! Don't go!" Minyeon cried as well. Soon the whole group of kids began wailing.
"Both of you better go first or these kids won't stop! Take care!" Ahjuma waved.
Jooyeon nodded and boarded the car. She looked out of the window and saw the kids waving.
"BYE! I'LL COME SOON!" she shouted and waved back.
Tears started flowing down her cheeks.
Taemin took her hand and squeezed it. "Don't worry, we'll come back soon."
Jooyeon nodded. "Those kids... You don't know how long they wait for a visitor. To wait for some potential people who may adopt them. Some of them just wait for their whole lives."
*I was just lucky to find Mr Choi. Those kids aren't as lucky as me..*
Taemin brought her closer and leaned her head against his shoulder. He used his thumb to wipe away her tears.
"Shhh. Don't cry okay? I promise I'll bring you back here again to visit them." Taemin promised.
*I wonder why she looks as if she had gone through all these before? Don't cry Sulli ah, it makes me sad as well.*
