"I-I have to use the ladies room. Excuse me." you said and pulled away from Kris. You walked out of the room to avoid Kris and went straight out the doors. The cold air hit your bare skin, making you shiver. You exhaled and replayed what just happened in your head. You knew Kris didn't mean what he said but part of you wanted to believe he was telling the truth.  

Why did Kris ignore you whenever Hayoung was around but act like a gentlemen whenever he was alone with you? Seeing them happy in love made your heart break. Why can't you have a happy ending too? You don't ask for much but when you want something, it just so happens that you can't have it. 

There was no way out unless you divorced Kris and move out of the house. Just when you thought things were going so well, it had to just suddenly fall and break into pieces. You don't even know why you're still putting up the act and it's getting burdensome. 

You suddenly felt something cover your bare arms and you turned around to see Jinhyuk. "Oh, it's okay. I don't need your coat-"

"Just keep it. It's pretty cold and I can see goosebumps on your arm." Jinhyuk said. "Thanks." You muttered and looked down on the floor. 

"So, do you want to leave? I can drive you back home." he asked and you looked up. "But what about the party?"

"It's okay. The guests are going to leave soon anyways. Come on, I'll drive you back home." Jinhyuk said and grabbed your hand, dragging you to his car.

Kris and Hayoung walked out of the building and they both saw you and Jinhyuk holding hands. "Awww, they make such a cute couple. Don't you think so too, Kris?" Hayoung said and Kris couldn't help but keep on staring at you and Jinhyuk. You had Jinhyuk's coat on your shoulders and Kris felt angry that he wasn't the one who gave you it. 

"Kris?" Hayoung said and clung onto his arm. "Huh? What did you say?" Kris said.

"I said, they make a cute couple. I hope they could get married." Hayoung said and smiled. "Y-Yeah." Kris said. After hearing Hayoung say the word married, Kris couldn't help but feel heartbroken. Kris still didn't tell Hayoung that he was married to you and seeing you with another man made him even more anguished. But he guessed he was at fault too, for being with Hayoung and not caring about you.

"Kris, let's go." Hayoung said as she dragged him to the parking lot.

You sat in the front seat with Jinhyuk as he drove. The car was silent and Jinhyuk noticed that you were still awkward with him. "Thank you for coming today. Or else I'd have to go to the party as a single man." Jinhyuk smiled as he tried to lighten up the mood.

"You don't have to say thanks. I enjoyed the party." you said as you turned to look at him. Jinhyuk was handsome indeed, any girls would fall for him in one glance but you wondered why doesn't he have a girlfriend by now. "I know you can't resist this face. But please stop staring at me while I drive." Jinhyuk chuckled.

You scoffed and crossed your arms. "Oh please, I wasn't staring at you. I was looking out your window." you made an excuse but smiled to yourself. When Jinhyuk stopped the car, you looked around and noticed you guys parked at a place full of cars. 

"Why are we here?" you asked. "You'll see. Come on." Jinhyuk said and got off the car. You followed him into the crowded midnight streets of Hongdae. The food vendors were everywhere, performers were performing in the middle of the street, and there were even clubbing going on. The night was full of laughter and lights. You looked at Jinhyuk for some answers why you guys came here and he said nothing but pull your hand towards the food area.

"Ajumma! An order of Sundae (a kind of blood sausage) and kimbap please!" Jinhyuk said as he grabbed a seat at the counter. "Come sit!" You sat down and saw some skewers sticking out of a pot full of soup. "These are fish cake skewers. The soup is very good when you drink it as you eat spicy things." Jinhyuk explained.

"Here's your food. Enjoy~!" the lady said and you looked at the plates in front of you. It was your first time trying out Sundae and fish cake skewers and it's ironic since you're Korean and you had never tasted this for the past 22 years of your life.

Kris had sent Hayoung back to the hotel where she was staying at for the moment. Hayoung said that she should move to the hotel since Kris isn't going to be home when he goes to work. Kris wanted her to stay but since Hayoung wanted to leave, he decided to let her. 

When Kris got home, the lights were off and he wondered if you were asleep already. He went up the stairs to check on you and when he opened the door to your room, he saw nobody. He checked the whole house but it seemed like weren't home.

Kris went to go take a bath and dress in comfortable clothes and by the time he walked down the stairs, he saw you enter the house. You were in the door way trying to take off the heels when you felt someone right in front of you. You looked up and saw Kris with his poker face.

"Where have you been? Do you know what time it is?" he scolded and you looked at the clock. "Kris, it's just 10:30 PM. It's not even that late." you sighed as you finally got both of your shoes off.

"It's not even late? Well excuse you but the last time I remember, the party ended at 9 PM. Where did you go?" he asked coldly.

"And why would you want to know? It's not even your business." you said and walked past him. He latched onto your arm and pulled you back. "It's my business if I don't know where my wife is. How would I know if she was kidnapped or ? Of course I need to know where you went and who you were with!" Kris exploded.

Wife? Oh please, this guy had really pushed your limit. First he was all lovey dovey to Hayoung and now he's asking where you've been because you're his "wife." What a bunch of horse.

"Well I wasn't with you that was for sure! And why do you care where I was when you have another woman under the same roof we're living in!" you shouted at him.

"Hayoung is staying at a hotel. Was that your problem the whole time? Was that why you avoided me!? Because you were jealous of Hayoung staying under the same roof as us?" Kris hissed as his grip on your forearm turned stronger.

You were so mad to the point where you wanted to punch Kris in the face. He assumes that you were jealous of Hayoung. You can't even deal with this anymore. "Let me go." You said.

"Not until you answer me!" Kris yelled. You didn't reply and tried to pry his hand off you. "LET GO!" you shouted and Kris pushed you against the wall. It was a forceful push and you saw stars dancing around your eyes because of the impact. "Answer me." he snapped.

"YES. YES I'M JEALOUS OF HAYOUNG STAYING UNDER THE SAME ROOF AS US. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?" you shouted at his face and took the chance to run up the stairs when he was in the state of shock. 

You slammed the door and slid down to th
