Jooyeon POV

“Are we still being followed?” he asked me. I casually looked around and answered

“Of course.”

“Why don’t we escape?” he asked with e devilish smirk. I frowned but he grabbed my wrist and started running. While I was being dragged I looked behind and they started running to following us. Jongin turned at a over crowed street and trough a corner at a shop. Suddenly he stopped and I did too. I realized all they way I was smiling and looked at Jongin who started laughing.

“That was fun.” He said with a grin

“I know. Better than the amusement park.” I told him smiling happily. After catching our steady breaths, he start to move around the street filled with people and shops. I haven’t noticed until now that he’s still grabbing my wrist. I couldn’t help but to follow him while watching his hand holding on to my wrist. I felt butterflies in my stomach and secure with his hold. He stopped at a nearby shop and I watched it. He entered guiding me behind him. It was a jewelry store, but the merchandise wasn’t expensive. It was simple and beautiful. Really beautiful. While he was guiding me through the store I kept watching the jewelry with amusement.

“I noticed that you like jewelry.” Said Jongin smiling at me. Oh my God…that smile…Jooyeon-ah! Wake up and don’t melt. This is Yongjoo’s plan. You have to win and make her see she’s wrong. But that smile… whatever just don’t look at it.

“Uhm…every girl likes jewelry.” I mumbled a while shyly touching my neck and looking away.

“But you don’t like what every girl likes. You choose pretty and simple things that suit you perfectly.” He said. Now, I officially melted. OMG! Why is he telling me this things?

“Choose something. Mom will be happy to know I bought you something.” He said. Uhm…he’s right. The sooner we end this the better.

“Ok.” I told him while making an ok sign at which he chuckled and then guided me nearer to the showcase never letting go of my wrist.

“What can I do for you guys?” asked the ajhumma behind the showcase when she turned around to face us.

“Ooohh… Such a beautiful couple!” she exclaimed smiling while placing her elbows in the glass and holding her face with her hands. AJHUMMA!! What’s wrong with you? I’m a bit embarrassed.

“Uhm..We are not a couple.” I told her. She frowned and stood up.

“What? But you guys look perfect together and are holding hands.” She said confused.

Kai POV

OH MY GOD I just realized I have been holding her wrist since we started to run. Don’t blush Jongin. I softly let go of her hand and placed my hands in my pockets.

“Uhm…Go ahead. Pick something.” I told Jooyeon

“Aw…agashi, you better don’t let go of this guy. There are not so many guys now that buy things for their girlfriends. Those are difficult to find and the best to keep.” She said while nodding and smiling. Oh God, this ajhumma. But she praised me, woohoo I’m one of a kind guy. I looked at Jooyeon. She seemed to be in a awkward position.

“Uh. Ok ajhumma.” She said

“I’m telling you. So… What are you guys looking for?” she asked while turning to both of us.

“I’ll just look around until I find the perfect one.” Said Jooyeon.

“Why don’t you let your boyfriend choose?” she asked winking at Jooyeon. Now I think I’m blushing. Jooyeon looked at me with a ‘I-think-she’s-right’ look. What? You are not going to help me? I looked around the showcase. All are pretty and I’m sure she’ll make all of them to look perfect when she wears them.

“What about that one?” I asked pointing at a star necklace.

“Perfect.” Said Jooyeon flashing a huge smile filled with joy. I couldn’t help but to smile too. I feel so good to choose the right one that made her smile like that. It’s the first time I see her smile so happily. She has always that bored expression, definitely this one suits her better. But…. Why this simple and not expensive necklace made her smile like that? She’s so different. That’s it. I have to know her better, I need to. It intrigues me so much to know all her weak and strong points. Everything about her.

“It’s beautiful.” Said ajhumma while picking it from the showcase and went to pack it. She returned and gave Jooyeon a  small bag.

“Thanks ajhumma.” Said Jooyeon while I paid for the necklace. Then we left the shop and returned to the crowded street.

“Thanks.” Said Jooyeon with a sweet smile showing her gratitude. But it’s nothing…

“No problem.” I told her. We continued to walk around and then found the way to the dinner restaurant.

We sat at the table waiting for our plates. Then I decided to gather all I already know about her. She lives alone since she was 15. Likes cold, coke, wear simple jewelry, especially rings, cute things…doesn’t like heat, being called cute,… has a cool black car.  She’s a playgirl. Damn it, why she has to be a playgirl?

“Here are your orders.” Said the waitress while placing the dishes on the table. We ate and then stood there in silence.

"What are you guys doing here?" said a familiar voice that came from our side.
