"Sooyoung likes you!"

Taeyeon's voice repeatedly echoes through his mind. Kibum can't control what he thinks now; he's affected already. He said to himself, "That's why. That's why Sooyoung's avoiding me. It's because of Nicole."

He kept on reminding himself that he loves Nicole more than he loves Sooyoung. "Kibum-ah, you love Nicole. You courted her because you love her," he kept on saying that. He's quite annoyed because of his heart - it contradicts what his mind's saying.

"Aigoo," he sighed. "I am hopeless."

Suddenly, the door of his room openned. It was his dongsaeng, Taeyeon. She greeted, "Yo oppa!"

"Taengoo, come in!" he exclaimed as he pats the chair next to his. "What brings you here?"

Taeyeon chuckled, "Oppa, I know you're not okay. Stop acting like that!"

Kibum frowned. "Taengoo, you are so smart."

"I know, oppa!" She exclaimed with pride. She then asked, "Why are you so gloomy? Is it because of me?"

"Yes," he sighed. He then pinched her nose. "Because of you, I am so confused!"

"About what, oppa?" Taeyeon asked after slapping his hands hard, making him groan in pain.

"It's nothing!" Kibum defended. "Go out!"

"Maybe I can help you," Taeyeon said in her aegyo voice. Kibum glared at her; she just laughed at her oppa.

Kibum couldn't resist. Maybe, she can help. "Okay, fine. Help me."

"That's my oppa!" She then continued, "What are you thinking, oppa?"

"I just realized that I am a jerk, like what you've said awhile ago," he confessed, fiddling his phone.

Taeyeon felt guilty. "Sorry oppa about what happened moments ago. I'm just -"

Kibum interrupted, "I know, Nicole made you feel like that."

"I'm so glad you got my point, oppa."

Kibum sighed, "I don't know what to do next, Taengoo."

"Tell me oppa, do you like our Sooyoung?"

Kibum stopped for awhile to think. Of course, he likes her a lot. Who doesn't, anyway? "Of course."

"Only as your bestfriend?" Taeyeon asked again. This time, Kibum was stunned by her question. How can he answer that? He likes Sooyoung. He wants to be with her all the time. That's what bestfriends are for, always there for you. But, are they going overboard? Sometimes, Kibum also thinks that what if he courted Sooyoung, not Nicole?

"I don't know." Kibum stared at his dongsaeng. "My mind's telling me that I love Nicole, but my heart disagrees with it."

Taeyeon smiled. "I think you already know the answer, oppa."

"I like Sooyoung?"

"No, you love Sooyoung."

Nicole heard her phone rang; it was a text message from Kibum.

From: Kibum Yeobo~
Meet me today at *insertscoffeeshopname* after your dismissal.

"Why so serious, oppa?" Nicole said to herself, and let out a small chuckle.

She went to the coffee shop Kibum texted her. She looked around, and she saw him. She approached him, giving him a peck on the cheek. Usually, he would kiss back, but now he didn't. He just stared at her, making Nicole uncomfortable.

"Oppa, what's the matter?" Nicole asked, sitting down.

Kibum smiled a bit. "How's your school?"

"Fine. My classmates kept on teasing me about you again," Nicole said. She then asked, "Aren't we going to order, oppa? I'm quite hungry."

"Oh, okay," Kibum answered. "You pick yours, I'm not hungry."

Nicole then ordered a Strawberry Waffle with Whip Cream on top, and a coffee. Kibum just stared at her while she eats her food. She then reminded, "What's the matter, oppa?"

"I have something to say to you," Kibum started.

"What is it?"

"I want a break up," he finally cracked up. He saw Nicole swallowed her food unexpectedly, making her choke. He then gave her his bottle of water.

"What did you say?" Nicole asked in fury after drinking the water.

"Nicole-ah, I want a break up."

"You're kidding," Nicole chuckled a bit, but anger is obvious in her voice. "You've got to be kidding me oppa!"

Kibum shook his head, "No, I am serious."

Nicole started to tear up. "Don't tell me it's because of Soo -"

"Yes, it's because of Sooyoung," Kibum said, stopping her. He continued, "I know you threatened her to not see me again. Who are you to say that to her?!"

"I am your girlfriend!" She exclaimed in fury, making some of the customers gaze at them. She continued, "She's just you're bestfriend! But, it always turns out to be the exact different!"

"Even though you are my girlfriend, you have no rights to say that to her!" Kibum defended, his eyes glared at hers.

"I'm just trying to make you not to fall for her!" Nicole said, her voice cracking up because she kept on holding back her tears.

Kibum sighed. "What makes you think I fall for her when you know you are my girlfriend?"

"I can see it in your eyes, Kibum! Whenever we are together with her, your eyes are only focused on Sooyoung, not me! Our hands are intertwined but your eyes are sticked on her!"

Kibum felt a stab of pain in his heart. She's right, he thought. But, as a man, he has to keep his pride and ego up. "I'm still breaking up with you." With that, he stood up and left the crying Nicole in the coffee shop.

"You broke up with her?" Jonghyun exclaimed. Jessica glared at him, while Yuri slapped him. Yuri went to the Kim's house to spend time with them, but she asked Jonghyun and Kibum not to tell Minho. Everyone knows their problem already, and they don't want to interfere because of Yuri - even though they badly want to interfere.

Kibum nodded. "I told her that all she did were wrong."

Yuri agreed, "She kept on hurting my Sooyoung!" Then, Yuri's eyes teared up. "I miss Sooyoung."

"Me too," Kibum hummed, standing up.

Yuri threw a pillow at him. "I don't need your opinion! And, I'm serious here!"

"I'm serious too!" He defended, making all of them smile.

"Are you sure you're not in love with Sooyoung?" Jessica asked.

Kibum just shrugged, and he went to the kitchen smiling like an idiot.

"I think I'm in love with her already."

"Sooyoung-ah, are you busy?" Nicole asked weakly on the phone.

"No. Why did you call, Nicole-ssi?" Sooyoung asked in a monotone.

"I just want to see you and talk to you," Nicole said. "Is it alright?"

"Err, okay. Let's just meet at the park."

Sooyoung rushed her way to the park. She saw Nicole seating on the bench, looking pale as ever.

She greeted, "Hello, Nicole!"

"Hello, Sooyoung! Have a seat."

Sooyoung can't help but ask, "What's the matter?"

Nicole then cried. Sooyoung doesn't know what to do; nevertheless, she just comforted her. "What's the matter?" She asked again.

"Kibum broke up with me," Nicole said between her sobs.

Sooyoung then stopped caressing her back. "What?!"

"You don't know?" Nicole asked, looking up at her.

Sooyoung shook her head. "We haven't talked since -"

"Since I told you so," Nicole chuckled. "You are very kind, Sooyoung."

Sooyoung just smiled at her. "It's alright, I don't want to see him anyway."

"Really?" Nicole asked. "Then, can you do something for me again?"

Sooyoung thought for a second. Again, Nicole asks her something. Once's enough, she thought. But, she felt guilty when she saw Nicole crying, because of Kibum. That jerk, she thought, really knows how to play with woman's heart.

She then asked herself, "What is the reason of their break up?"

Is it because of me? she thought, probably not. Kibum oppa only likes me as his bestfriend.

"What will I do?" Sooyoung asked generously.

"Can you please reconcile us? I don't want to lose him."

I don't want to, Sooyoung thought. She then said to herself, "Sooyoung, do this for your bestfriend. You love him right? You want to make him happy right?"

She then answered Nicole, "I'll try to do my best, okay?"

AIGOO. I really thought this is HAPPY.
Nicole's wish. AIGOO. Err, I love this chapter though.

Is there a chance for Sooyoung now? I don't think so. She's too kind to give way to Nicole, right?
