You're The Only One

"Hyerin-ah! Jongwoo-ah! ~ Let's eat now!" You called. The two five-year olds were now running up the hill, making their way to the red checkered picnic mat. 

Every weekend was your precious time with your family. Every weekend consisted family outings to who knows where or just the quality time at home. Now that you have been busy with work, you made sure that the weekends were spent with the family alone.

During these five years you have been busily working with your company. JHK Ent. An entertainment label by you and Jongin. Before the birth of the twins, you originally wanted to announce your plans about the label. During the pregnancy you had already planned and prepare for the company. Many discussions were made with Jongin and the plans eventually came true once the twins were born. 

JHK Ent. may still be a new company but with it's establishment many celebrities have been switching to your label ... I wonder why? haha. Being the CEO of the company ... but of course family is your first priority. Recruiting Luhan and Hyomin into the company to be the head composers and producers for the label. Also all Exo members had switch into the label. So far Exo are the only idols in our label while the others that you manage are either models or actors/actresses.

"Noona ~ Look at the pretty bubbles!!!" Jongwoo called "Eonni, join us!" Hyerin cried. 

"Wait ~ let me finish my food! We're going soon!" Taerin yelled back. "hey, what did I tell you about shouting back to your younger siblings" you frowned. "Eomma, look how far apart we are ~ they wouldn't hear me if I wasn't to project my voice" Taerin defended. 

"She's exactly like you" you heard Jongin chuckle. "Haha funny..." you scoffed "eomma, appa I'll take care of the two of them now" Taerin excused herself leaving you and Jongin behind on the picnic mat. 

You were still sitting up watching the kids play around the hill with bubbles, seeing their bright expressions and melodic laughs. You to occupied watching over the kids that you didn't even realize that Jongin had already moved the food aside, clearing the picnic for himself to lie down.

"you're not going to join me?" you heard, turning your attention to the man ily lying down on the mat, you couldn't help but chuckle and decided to lie down with him. Being the sweetest husband, he extended his arm to let you rest on. "So how are you?" he asked. 

As you shifted closer to him, breathing in his scent that you've missed. "It funny how we work together but we never see each other in work since someone is "busy" with their work" you replied looking up to him "For your first drama, you're doing a good job honey~" you complimented making his smile.

"I miss you" he sighed. "We see each other every day and night though?" you reminded "it's not the same, I sort of regret accepting this role" he sighed. Recently Exo have been working separately, half pursued their solo careers while the others have been pursuing their acting career *ahem Kim Jongin* "I wait for you to come home so we could sleep together, isn't that enough?" Seeing Jongin's guilt expression written all over his face you sat yourself up and looked at him "there's nothing wrong with our schedule ~ everyone's happy and that's all that matters" you reassured with a small peck on the lips "hm now let's get going before the sun sets" you began packing the things from the picnic. 

While driving back home, the twins seems to have fallen asleep already. "Eomma, what are you doing once we get back home?" Taerin asked. "hm ... we could have stopped over to eat again but it looks like the kids are sleeping already" you turned to look at the back seat to find the Jongwoo sleeping on Hyerin's shoulder.

"hehe, eomma thinks we're sleeping" you heard Jongwoo whisper with a small giggle. tsk ... his exactly like his appa! "but since Jongwoo and Hyerin-ah are sleeping we'll have to go straight home ~ isn't it Taerin-ah?" you asked looking back while sending signals.

Being the "mature" one Taerin playfully rolled her eyes before playing along "ngaw ~~~ but then what about that new playground near the house that Jongwoo wanted to play at! he could of been the first one to play on that...too bad" Taerin teased

Jongin finally caught on "why don't we just let Taerin play alone while the other two sleep inside here" sorry guys, but this is how dorky your family family is! :p "Even I'm already 10 years old, I still want to ride the big swirly slide! it looks so fun! haha Jongwoo is going to miss out ... how about we just wake up Hyerin alone and mak-"

"NOT FAIR! I'm awake!!! I want to play as well!" Jongwoo suddenly sat up and pouted. kya ~ and to think that Jongwoo was going to be the calm one out of the twins ... we were completely wrong ... ah why did he have to be like his appa!? "but now that you're awake we won't go anymore ~" Jongin teased

"but appa, I want to play in the new playground too~" Hyerin finally spoke. "Well since Hyerin-ah wants too then we'll go"

"appa! you totally ruined it!" Taerin pouted You couldn't help but feel disappointed with Jongin as well "what did I do wrong now?!" he asked while keeping his eyes on the road.

"you're being bias with your chidlren again ~ tsk always spoiling Hyerin-ah" Taerin scoffed, while you just looked at him with the 'that's what you did wrong' look "I love you all equally okay, but since our maknae Hyerin-ah wants to go to the playground then we will okay" T_T 

"if you continue this, you'll be making Hyerin-ah a "daddy's girl" I don't think she would want to be called that" you warned "even appa wasn't like this with me when I was five" Taerin added making you laugh. Now that Taerin-ah is slightly older, you're beginning to see how alike Taerin-ah is to you, yes you've taught her well! ^_^ "aigo ~ Kim Jongin-ssi why must you be like this, pay attention to our Jongwoo-ie" you sighed 

Cornering Jongin like this was very amusing for both you and Taerin "ya~ stop! I treat the kids equally ~ ya Taerin-ah don't forget that I'm your appa?!" Jongin started to whine while keeping his eyes glued on the road T_T "appa you're totally becoming a push over .... but it's okay I was only kidding" Taerin reassured then continued listening to her iPod. 

You then noticed how Jongin was beginning to sulk, placing your hand on his lap immediately made his frown fade away "aigo ~ what happened to the cool and charismatic yeobong of mine??" you pouted before finally putting an end to the sudden bullying.

"okay guys should we stop over here for a bit?" you asked while Jongin had already parked in front of McDonald's. 

There wasn't anything wrong with being noticed and having attention towards your family now that the twins are used to it. After Hello Baby with Taerin and EXO that was probably the last since the public has seen any of the children. Besides bumping into them while walking around that's all they've encountered. 

While lining up to order a few snacks for the kids, Jongin and the kids had already seated themselves near a window. You felt someone's eyes looking at you, and you couldn't help but awkwardly look at them and smile. "sorry eonni, but I can't help but feel so happy to see you and your family! I'm a big fan of Jongin opp- Exo's Jongin..." she greeted "kamsahabnida ~ thank you, I'm sure Jongin would be pleased to mee-" 

"oh no it's okay I just admire and envy how happy your family is" the girl reassured "I better get going now, it was nice bumping into you Hyorin eonni" she bowed before leaving.  After ordering, you had finally sat back down with the family. While having your evening snack the five of you were now finally at the park playing. 

"Out of all our family outings, this by far has to be the most tiring one" Jongin sighed as he shifted closer to you underneath the blankets. 

"says the one who was out all night filming?" you chuckled "you know it's the twins' birthday in a few days... What should we do?" you asked "I'm hoping that they don't ask for a big celebration" you added. "why don't we just call Taerin over here and ask for her help?" Jongin suggested. 

Right on cue, Taerin barged into your bedroom as if she knew that she was being called. With no mercy she squished herself in between the two of you who were cuddling a minute ago, making Jongin fall of the bed. "eomma can I sleep here tonight?" 

"of course you ca-"

"no, not after pushing your appa off the bed." Jongin intruded. You have no idea how much of a pushover Jongin has become... "too bad but I'm sleeping here, I need to catch up with eomma" Taerin answered back, while pulling her into a warm hug Jongin decided to join in with the family hug. "appa ~ your so fat, let go" Taerin whined

"ya ~ appa is known for having one of the best bodies" he defended himself in the most cutest and childish way. "that was like what? 5 years ago?" Just that one line from Taerin and you started bursting into laughter but you quickly stopped as you saw Jongin frowning. 

"Taerin-ah... shhh the twins are sleeping" you hissed "okay before I forget we have a mission for you to do Taerin-ah we need you to find out what the twins want for their birthday okay"

"hmm-copy" you heard Taerin mumble. You  turned over to your right to find Taerin asleep in Jongin's embrace. "Let's give her 5 minutes until I carry her back to her room" Jongin reassured. 

After placing Taerin back into her bed and tucking her in, the two of quickly checked up on the twins then returned back to your bedroom. "Honey, I hate to be mean but your starting to become a pushover" you sighed

"hey that's a hurtful word!" he pouted "let's just say that were both too friendly with our kids ... it must be the " he explained. 

"Well they treat me like their eomma, but you?" you questioned "I'm only kidding. The kids and I love you very much so stop frowning and being melodramatic it doesn't suit you" you teased "now goodnight ~" you whispered.
