Chapter 44 
Starting Fresh

As we boarded of the plane, we had planned to not tell anyone that we have arrived. Since everything has been planned before hand, we had one of appa's employee's to pick us up and drop us off to our new home. 

Entering our new home, it was well furnished and simple. Eomma left a letter on the coffee table, writing comforting words for you start a new life, again. 

Taerin-ah had already fallen asleep and Jongin insisted on putting her into bed. You walked inside your bedroom and plopped yourself onto the bed and found yourself dozing off. 

It has been a long day. In one day you got divorced, left Tokyo and moved to Seoul, just like that. You accepted everything .... why didn't you stop this and convince Taemin not to give up? They can't possibly think that I would just forget about him like that. Your only with Jongin for one reason, and that's because you're the mother of Taerin-ah. 

Why is it that you're allowing people to make decisions that they believe is 'right' for you? Why are you even listening to them, you're making yourself suffer with a new life you aren't prepared for. Your heart belonged to Taemin but now you're suppose to give Jongin your heart? *You're treating yourself as a total pushover Hyorin-ah ...* 

You woke up and found the space next to you empty *someone's awake early* You got up and went to check up on Taerin, but she wasn't in her bed. You decided to head into the lounge and found her watching tv while Jongin was sleeping on the couch *this is where he slept all night?* 

Taerin had finally noticed that you were now awake, she slowly walked up to you and tugged onto your shirt "eomma, baegopayo ~" It's the first time she has ever spoken to you since yesterday. You quickly served your daughter some breakfast from what was stocked in the fridge and pantry. You knew that it was going to be a challenge for your daughter to adjust. 

But instead of adjusting to the situation first, your daughter was your first priority. "Taerin-ah let's wash up shall we?" you asked and your daughter followed you in to the bathroom. While giving Taerin a bath, you decided to talk to her about all the new changes. "mian ~ I know that you're confuse with all the changes but this is something that we have to get use too" you apologised

"eomma, are we staying here forever?" she asked

"for now yes, in the future however ... I don't know. Is there anything you're curious about?" you asked

"ap- Taemin ahjussi?... I thought you loved each other why are you seperated?" 

"Taemin-ssi no longer wanted to be with me, he wants us to be with your appa. Even eomma is confused but we should give your appa a chance right? you asked while rinsing her hair

"why weren't you and Kai appa .... together in the first place?" 

"because eomma was stupid and listened to halmoni and halabeoji to move away from your appa and now I listened to them to move away Taemin-ssi" 

"eomma, is Kai appa nice? I'm scared."

"honey, your appa is really kind, he loves you. When he found out that you were his baby he decided to stay in Tokyo for one more week to be with you. He was there for the family day?" you reassured

"what about school here? are the kids nice?" 

"of course ~ Seoul is just like Tokyo. I'm sorry for everything but eomma will always be by your side no matter what. We're in this together" you dried your daughter and dressed her up. 

"uh morning ~" you greeted Jongin who was now awake "uhm, I made breakfast so feel free to eat it - Taerin-ah let's unpack your things". While unpacking all the things you have packed, the house finally looked like a proper home. You decorated the house to make you and Taerin feel at home. Jongin helped as you were struggling to decorate certain things due to your short height. 

"uhm Hyorin-ah, do you mind if I go out tonight to hang out with the boys ~ I want to tell them the news?" he asked

"only if you let me bring my family here for dinner tonight ~ I want inform them on my own too" you replied

"deal. I'll be back around midnight so don't bother waiting for me just sleep" 

It was already the afternoon and you and Taerin were in the kitchen preparing dinner. It was still awkward for the three of you to be together but I guess you were the one that was slightly adapting quicker. "I'll be going now ... uhm bye Hyoyrin-ah, bye Taerin-ah" he waved. You just nodded while your daughter left you surprised "ne, take care appa ... ~" she waved back *thank you Taerin*

Jongin nodded and you saw his expression relax as the corner of his lips started to curve upwards, that faint smile... it was there. After Jongin left the doorbell rang. You looked through the monitor and saw Luhan's face right in front of the screen. You opened the door and welcomed them in, "ya .... is that why you guys finally got engaged?" you asked while pointing at Hyomin's baby bump

"ani- I did propose ... it's just we got carried away?" Luhan shyly explained

"tsk .. more like the two of you got excited- aw! ya that hurt!" you yelped 

"other than this .... what are you doing here?" Hyomin asked

"for now let's have dinner! ~" you called

"good, I'm starving and I've been craving for - oh gosh is that what I think it is???!!!" Hyomin jumped

"I'm guessing you've been craving for these .....?" you pointed at the Udon noodles

Hyomin just nodded "ever since I got pregnant ~ Luhan has made me cut down on the ramen and has been feeding me greens and fruits .... I hate it" she whispered

"hm, the joy of being pregnant, but every now and then it's good to have something you crave for" you advised

"see Luhan ~ listen to our Sunbae of being pregnant" T__T "thanks that makes me feel so proud of myself" you said sarcastically

Luhan and Taerin were hanging out together after dinner. "Luhan, do you mind distracting Taerin, while I talk to Hyomin and please cheer her up. Hyomin will explain everything to you later I promise" you asked and Luhan started playing a board game with her. 

In the kitchen it was just you and Hyomin. "okay I don't plan on repeating this twice okay so listen very carefully this will be in a nutshell. Taemin decided to let me and Taerin go. He asked eomma help him plan my move to here. Like I told you before I recently told Jongin the truth. He wanted to take Taerin for himself to allow me and Taemin to 'start our own family' but instead I allowed my life to be controlled by again and moved here to Seoul with Taerin and Jongin. Soon everyone will know about this, Jongin is telling the boys tonight which explains his absence here" 

D: was all Hyomin expressed "what about you and Taemin?"

"divorse"

"what happened?"

"I got caught doing something that was out of my control ....." you mumbled

"O.O you didn't!!!" Hyomin cried

".... like I said it was out of our control, it just happened like lust .... overtaking our minds.... aish" you sighed

"god you're stupid sometimes sis" Hyomin sighed
