Chapter 26 
It's Too Late

"This was something wrong, but it felt right."

Just as Jongin was about to your dress you stopped him. "I'm sorry but I can't .." you apologised and got up to leave his apartment. 

"At least just sleep here tonight, it's late and going out like that at this time is dangerous" he asked

"I'll take the couch then .." you spoke

"ani - take the bed, I'll sleep on the couch" 

"ani - you take the bed" your argued

"we'll both sleep on the bed how about that?" he asked

"Jongin-ah ..." 

"I won't do anything I swear!" he surrendered himself with both of his hands up in the air

You were exhausted now and all you wanted to do was sleep peacefully. Jongin gave you a pair of sleep wear to change into. you didn't mind sharing the bed with Jongin but the last time you remembered that his bed was a single size bed, how could the two of you sleep together? but once you entered his bedroom his bed was now a double sized bed. Seeing his new bed made you feel at ease. 

You took the left side of the bed and face the wall, Jongin came back inside the room dressed up in a plain white tee and track pants. Seeing your back silhouette made him think of the past.. his hesitantly lied down on the right side of his bed and face the other way. 

"are you asleep?" he asked with his back still facing your back

"ani - It just feels weird .. you're new bed" you replied

Jongin let out a chuckle "it's actually pretty old now .. I got it after .." he stopped and you knew what he was going to say 

"I'm sorry about what happened just then" you said still facing the wall

"ani- it was my fault, I couldn't control myself" he apologised

"ani- it's partially my fault too" 

"but I left a mark on your neck" he sighed

"I can cover it up" you reassured

"but I'm glad that you stopped me" he spoke again after the long silence

"why is that?" you asked

"I didn't want you to hurt your family" he mumbled

"Jongin, what if..." you turned around to face his back hoping to face him but instead you faced his back. 

"what if I told you were the father or my child?" you courageously asked waiting for his response

there was no reaction so you looked over his shoulder and found Jongin asleep already. 

*sigh, I was just about to tell him ...*

You woke up from the sunglight that was seeping through Jongin's bedroom window. The sun was shinning blightly on your face and you were unable to open your eyes. 

You quickly got up remembering that you were sleeping on Jongin's bed. Jongin was still asleep, but as you were about to hold onto the door knob Jongin spoke.

"Hyorin-ah I'll drop you off" he said while getting up from the bed

You were glad that nothing happened last night, you were both still clothed but the hangover was starting to come. Jongin was in the bathroom getting ready and you walked out to his kitchen and decided to cook a hangover soup for him. He came out just in time and you gave him the hot soup. Just as he was eating you were walking towards the front door.

"YA~ you're suppose to eat with me, look at you ... freshen up before you walk outside please Hyorin'ah" Jongin asked
