Family 'Fun' Day

Boy was this day tiring, As this was the first year of Taerin-ah in school, you were not expecting their family day to be like this. All there were various activities, such as family relays T_T. The fathers had to piggy back their wives, then their child, then the child will run the last 50 metres. Hm well you shouldn't be complaining if you're fam- .. if you guys one right?

It was embarrassing being piggy backed by Jongin, some couples were suspecting that Jongin was your new 'partner'. Even though you would correct their misunderstandings and explain they still misunderstood aigo ~ these old couples T_T 

It was already half of the fun day and now the kids were showing their parents around the school "appa ~ I have a place I want to show you!" Taerin-ah pulled onto Jongin's shirt, pulling him into a room

"Taerin-ah what room is this?" you asked unfamiliar with the room

"Sensei let's me practise ballet here when we have nap time" she explained

"mwoh? instead of taking a nap your inside here practising??" you asked

"ne, I want to be like eomma ~ I want to continue your talent" she smiled

"baby ~ you don't have to just because eomma did ballet before" you melted from your daughters words

You saw Jongin smiling from your little moment but he quickly hid that smile once you staring at him. "Taerin-ah how about you show appa your ballet moves" 

Keeping it basic, Taerin-ah just demonstrated the simple stretches and turns ~ it was adorable watching you're daughter. She hasn't learnt much in ballet but with as a young child with so much determination to do well, she was so admirable. You and Jongin were sitting on a bench that was facing Taerin-ah.

"she act's exactly like you" Jongin smiled *he smiled?! seriously?*

"tsk, of course I was always good with ballet" you claimed

"right ... I still think I'm better" he answered back

You had no idea what had gotten into your but you decided to join Taerin-ah and started twirling around the small room with her. Somehow you felt like you had to prove Jongin wrong about who's better in ballet but ..... why are you doing it? Jongin also learnt ballet since he was young and he trained longer then you AND his an idol .... *damnit* 

The regret finally kicked in once Jongin started to join and carelessly dance making Taerin-ah laugh "appa ~ you're good at ballet too" she complimented

"haha, and appa doesn't even need to try" he smiled looking at you *tssk punk* you pouted

"you know me and your eomma use to dance together" he mentioned

"jinjja?" she stopped prancing and looked at the two of you * ... he better not*

"yup ~ eomma was suppose to be an idol ~ but you came along" he pinched her cheeks "aigo ~ your eomma was training ballet and all sort of dances  with me. We were the best out of all the other trainee's" he smiled 

"eomma ~ why didn't you tell me that you knew appa?" she asked

"mian ~ I just forgot to since visiting Seoul was a rush and you had soooo many ahjussi's to meet aigo ~ mianhae" you apologised

"hm arraseo ~" she started laughing 

"what's funny Taerin-ah?" you asked

"eomma ~ your holding ahjussi's hand ~ aigo" she pointed out. You quickly let go of Jongin's hand *aish embarrassing*

Taerin-ah's sensei entered the room "konichiwa ~" she greeted "gomen, I was watching the three of you dance, and I couldn't help but intrude to compliment you all. You're all a family of dancing. Even Taemin's cousin *she politely points at Jongin* dances. ah well he is the dance machine of exo" she spoke in Japanese

The only thing Jongin understood was konichiwa, gomen, dance and Taemin. Taerin-ah was kind enough to translate it all for Jongin and from the compliment he bent down and said "arigatou gozaimasu".

"appa ~ she's my ballet teacher and school teacher" she whispered in his ears

"well the family fun day is now over ~ I just wanted to thank you both for coming, Kai-san thank you for coming to be Taerin-san's father for the day" she bowed

"arigatou" he simply greeted. The sensei left, and the three of you went back home.

"eomma you know all my classmates liked your cookies! ~ whenever it's lunch time they always ask for some of my food" Taerin-ah  mentioned as you entered insid
