It's Over (Jongin's POV)

"Jongin-ah we're sorry ..."

That one sentence pierced my heart. Were they preferring Taemin over me after explaining to them what's been happening?! 

"We're sorry ... that the two of you are going through this. We'll be honest we have nothing to do with the divorce papers, Taemin said he would handle them all on his own. We trusted him but I guess he took advantage of our trust, we're sorry" Mr Kim apologised

Sighing from relief I took this opportunity to kneel down infront of Hyorin's parents "please, Mr and Mrs Kim. Please give me this chance to make it up to my family. I wanted to propose to Hyorin soon but with Taemin coming back it's hard, his delaying my proposal" he bowed

"I honestly don't know what had gotten into us five years ago when we told Hyorin that the two of you wouldn't be able to survive as young parents .... I agreed to an arranged married and prevented you from seeing your hidden daughter for four years. Shouldn't we be asking for your forgiveness?" Mrs Kim asked

"ani-yo. You were forgiven a long time ago, I can't imagine me and Hyorin living happily from four years ago but now I do. I am happy with my life now, everything isn't perfect. So maybe I did sort of ruin the steady life Hyorin was having a year ago but as corny as it may seem. We were meant for each other" I replied, feeling satisfied with my answer and Mr Kim nodded

"you're a good kid. We no longer want to get into the way of our Hyorin but just once more, we'll get her divorce papers with Taemin finalised. We have our ways but for now shouldn't you be picking Taerin up from school? How about we all go and pick her up and eat out together?" Mr Kim suggested.

Meanwhile ... (back to your / Hyorin's POV)

Hyomin left after the two our movie, still Jongin and Taerin haven't arrived home yet. You tried calling Jongin but he apologised saying that he and Taerin were at his parent's house for a visit. Part of that was true. He was with Taerin but not with his parents, they were with you parents.

You were lying on the couch when you suddenly got a phone. It was from the number who would mysteriously send 'I miss you' messages but now it was obvious who it was. Without any hesitations you answered the call. 

Taemin greeted you on the phone with an unfamiliar tone. Cocky??? Since when was he like this?? "Taemin, even though I don't really want to see your two face right now, I thinks it's best that we meet now. We need to talk" you told him the location of which cafe where you wanted to meet him.

You decided to meet at a cafe located near the SM Building, being near that building made you feel secured as if there as people close by to protect you.  You didn't need to wait for Taemin as he was already sitting down at a table at the back of the cafe, reading the news papers. 

Taemin heard your footsteps from your heels that were walking on the timbre flooring, he places his news paper down and greets you with his no longer innocent smile "yeobo ~ It's been awhile. How are you?" he greeted

"Let's just get this over and done with" you said bluntly, making his smile fade 

"well hurry and sit down then, what did you want to talk about?" he asked seriously talk about 360 degree personality change?! You kept calm and sat down, trying to get yourself comfortable. 

"what are you doing her and why were you deliberately sabotaging my conference the other day?!" urgh ... Taemin had this annoying smirk on his face as if he was satisfied with your reaction.

"Well I wasn't lying, I wanted you to know. I can't just let my wife marry someone random while she's still married with me right?"

"he's not just some random Lee Taemin .... his the father of my child remember?" you asked

"we'll I was the father figure who raised her up so It's best if we-"

"you were the one who pushed me and Taerin right? did you ever consider my feelings when you pushed me away?" Taemin's eyes softened as you were raging your anger out but he remained silent "look, I can't do this anymore I feel as though I've been played around numerous times. Taemin ... I've had enough"

Taemin was about to speak but you butted in once more "If this is what I deserve for messing Jongin's life, fine. But Taemin ... please just stop this. Please" you pleaded while holding onto his hand that was resting on top of the table. 

Your eyes expressed it all, "but don't you love me ?? it's only been a year Hyorin-ah ... you possibly couldn't have moved on?" he asked. 

"I'd be lying if I don't admit that I still love you, but It's too late now. It's final. Taerin, Jongin and myself, we're a family. Like you said it would take time to let go but .... we need to stop this. Taerin and Jongin has been through enough" you explained
