Minhwan’s P.O.V.

We just finished eating and I was tasked to wash the dishes. “Is this the reason why idol groups have maknaes?” I asked them. “Yeah. Probably. Good thing I wasn’t the maknae.” Hongki said. “Aish.” I complained.

“Ya! Stop complaining!” Jaejin said. “Lazy a**!” Seunghyun told me. “Ya! That’s me!”Jaejin scolded Seunghyun. “Well, it’s good to be a dishwasher. If I try to wash all the plates, I’ll end up finishing it and feel satisfied.” I told them. “True!” Hongki said.

“That would be better than trying but failing in the end. If you know you can’t fight, better give up early than be embarrassed in the end.” I continued. “What are you talking about?” Jaejin asked me and Jonghoon pulled be up by my shirt’s collar. “Watch out what your saying.” He said. I smirked as a reply.

Hongki and Jaejin pulled him while Seunghyun pulled me. “Hey! What’s happening?” Hongki asked us. “He knows it. Better ask him.” Jonghoon replied. I smirked. Shall I piss him off? “Let go!” I told Seunghyun. He didn’t move. “I said let go.” I repeated. Now in a louder voice. He let go of me and I walked away.

Jonghoon’s P.O.V.

“Such a coward.” I said as I saw him walked out. Seunghyun followed him. “What’s happening?” Jaejin asked me. “Nothing. We’re just in love with the same girl.” I answered. “Mwo?” Hongki ang Jaejin gasped. They finally let go of me because of shock and so I walked away.

“Ya! Don’t look for Minari. You just cause a commotion.” Hongki said. “I’m not that kind of person. I won’t punch him if he didn’t punch me first.” I replied. “But he didn’t punch you.” Jaejin said. “He punched me through his words.” I told them then went to my room.

I the lights and lay down on my bed. It’s almost winter now but I feel hot. I guess it’s due to my anger. Minhwan is driving me crazy. He should stop competing with me.

~The next day

I went downstairs and saw Jaejin, Hongki and Seunghyun having a mini meeting. “What’s that meeting for?” I asked as I realized they didn’t notice me enter the room. “Ah. Jonghunnie~ We didn’t notice you.” Hongki told me.

“What are you talking about?” I asked them. “You and –“Seunhyun said but Hongki interrupted “Ani~ we’re talking about our performance later. What time are we going?” “2 pm.” I replied. “Ah… Ne.” Hongki said.

Minwhan went downstairs. He seemed to be going out. “You’re going out?” Jaejin asked Minari. “Ne. Gonna meet with _____.” He said then looked at me. I looked back at him. Everyone went silent. “We have a performance.”Jaejin reminded him.

“I know. I’ll go straight there.” Minhwan said. He then left. He really is making a move.

~2 pm came and we were all in the dressing room. So as Minhwan.

“Ya! The arrangement would be me on verse, Hongki on chorus, Seunghyun on rap, drums solo, guitar solo then chorus. Get it?” Jaejin said. “Yeah.” The four of us replied. “FT Island…” Hongki said. “..hwaiting!” we shouted.

Before we enter the stage, Minhwan told me something. “Good luck on your solo. _____ is watching.” He said. Is she? Minhwan, better be prepared. I’ll make my solo better than yours.
