Taemin looked down and saw a little Yoogeun smiling.

                “Minho, I think Yoogeunnie just giggled, did you hear?! It was the most beautiful sound ever!” Taemin laughed as he picked him up and kissed his cheek.

                “Come on, laugh for umma, do it for umma” Taemin tried several more times but Yoogeun just stared at him. Taemin pouted, he wanted to hear Yoogeun’s giggle again.

                “Minnie, you can’t force him to giggle, he has to do it at his own pace. He’ll gradually find everything funny and start laughing non-stop” Minho tried to cheer him up which sort of worked as Taemin nodded and continued to eat his ice cream. After they had finished their ice cream and enjoyed their walk at on the lake, they went home and tucked Yoogeun into bed. It was finally alone time for Taemin and Minho.

                “Minnie, next week I have a ball, do you want to be my date that night?” Minho and Taemin were sitting on the couch with Taemin’s head on Minho’s chest.

                “I don’t know, Minho. You know how everyone there is rich and famous people. I’ll feel so out of place, besides, who’s going to look at Yoogeun? I can’t leave him home alone” Taemin pouted, he was afraid that people would look down at Minho for being married to a boy. He didn’t want to embarrass him, so he tried every excuse that he could think of.

                “Minnie, there’s your umma and appa, they could take care of Yoogeun. I know what you’re thinking Minnie, you’re afraid of embarrassing me that night. You’re my wife, you’re perfect! If anyone dares to talk bad about you, I will make sure they will immediately regret it. I’ll force them to buy banana milk for you for a lifetime” hearing Taemin giggle was what Minho was looking for.

                “You’re silly, Minho. Fine, I’ll go with you, I just hope you don’t regret it then. Just promise me not to leave my side, I don’t like feeling alone” Taemin pouted, if people started to ask him things, he wouldn’t know how to answer them.

                “Don’t worry, I promise Minnie” Minho gently kissed Taemin’s lips, making him giggle.

                “Sealed with a kiss” Minho said quietly.

A few more days passed and it was time for the ball, Key and Jonghyun had arrived to take care of Yoogeun and to give advice to Minho and Taemin, not that they asked for it. After half an hour more of changing, they finally left the house. Taemin kissed Yoogeun multiple times before he was willing to let him go.

                “Don’t worry too much baby; umma will take care of Yoogeun. Now go and have fun with your husband” Key pushed Taemin out the door and waved as he watched his baby get into the car.  Pretty soon, they arrived at the banquet hall and as soon as they entered it, Taemin’s eyes widen, it was his first time seeing such a beautiful place. Minho couldn’t help but chuckle at Taemin’s reaction, it was at that moment, and he saw someone eyeing his Minnie. Minho looked at him and realized that it was his competitor, or more like a self-proclaimed competitor. Whatever Minho wanted, his competitor would always try to take it away from him and would always end up losing badly, it was going to end the same way this time.

                “Minnie, you should close your mouth before a bug flies in” Taemin quickly closed it, he was afraid of bugs and hearing that they might be close to him freaked him out. Taemin continued to look around, he didn’t even notice a pair of eyes on him that followed him wherever he went, and he just clung onto Minho and followed him.

                “Minho, do you know any of these people?” Taemin looked around and he was surrounded by rich looking people. They were all giving him looks.

                “Of course, they all did business with either me or my umma, some are closer than others” Minho said as he smiled and waved to an older man.

                “Hello Minho, long times no see. How have you been doing so far?” the man shook Minho’s hand and then offered his hand to Taemin. He looked at Minho before taking it and gently shaking it.

                “And who’s this beauty? Is he your wife?” the man smiled at Minho who nodded, Taemin later found out that he had been doing business with his umma for almost 20 years, so he treated him like his own nephew. Suddenly, a man interrupted the conversation.

                “Hello Mr. Choi, don’t know if you would remember me, but I did business with your company for a couple of years. Might I introduce you to my lovely daughter? She’s your age and it would be nice if you two could become friends and get to know each other” Taemin could hear a different meaning in his words and he didn’t like him one bit. Minho could sense that Taemin wasn’t feeling very happy about this man.

                “I’m afraid that I can only maintain a professional relationship with you, Mr. Song. You see, my wife is with me today, and I’m afraid that the longer I stay here with you and your daughter, the more jealous he’s going to be” Minho smiled as he kissed Taemin’s cheek, making Taemin’s face to turn bright red. He didn’t expect Minho to be so direct and blunt.

                “Oh...uh... nice to meet you Mr. Choi, didn’t expect to see you here today as well. We’re going to get going now" the man dragged his daughter away and they disappeared into the crowd.

                “I have never seen you with so much love in your eyes before, Minho. I know I’m not your father, but as someone older than you, I would like to tell you that I like the present you more than the past you. Before you were ruthless and cruel, but it appears that ever since this little cutie came along, he had changed you. Sorry, I didn’t even ask for your name” Mr. Cho smiled at Taemin.

                “M-my name is Lee Taemin, nice to meet you sir” Taemin shyly bowed, the man looked kind but there was something about him that gave him such an aura that Taemin felt a bit intimidated.

                “Well then, Taemin. Please help me take care of Minho from now on; I treat him as my own nephew. I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what did you do to make him change so much?”  Taemin said the only thing that came to his mind.

                “I got pregnant” both Mr. Cho and Minho started laughing; Taemin blushed, had he said something wrong?

                “Minnie, I didn’t marry you just because you got pregnant, you came into my life and made me fall in love with you. Don’t underestimate yourself” Minho wrapped his arms around Taemin’s waist and pulled him close. Taemin giggled as he allowed his body to relax against Minho’s, it felt perfect. After a few more minutes of talking, Mr. Cho excused himself and went to talk to some other people while Minho remained by Taemin’s side, he had kept his promise so far.

                “Minnie, are you thirsty? I’ll get you something to drink” Taemin was about to follow but as soon as Minho left, a crowd of people appeared and blocked Taemin’s way, when the crowd had passed, Minho was nowhere in sight. Taemin pouted and decided to wait for Minho’s return. Suddenly, someone appeared in front of him.

                “Hello, nice to meet you. Are you here alone?” Taemin looked around him and found that the boy was talking to him. Taemin pointed himself and the boy nodded and smiled.

                “Oh, nice to meet you too, actually I’m here with my husband; you might know him, Choi Minho” the boy was surprised; he thought that Taemin was just another plaything; he didn’t expect him to be married already.

                “Of course, I know him on a professional level; we did business together for a few times. So, how long have you been married to him? He hadn’t mentioned you to anyone before, I was surprised to find that he was married in the first place” Taemin tried to hide his hurt, was Minho ashamed of him that he didn’t tell anyone that he was married to a boy? The other man slowly moved towards Taemin but because he was deep in thoughts, Taemin didn’t notice.

                “I’m sure he was just busy that he forgot, but how could someone forget to mention to his business partners and colleagues that he got married? You must not mean that important to him, if it were me, I would tell the whole world” the man slowly slithered his arm around Taemin’s waist; his action went unnoticed until he tightened his hold, causing Taemin to freeze.

                “What are you doing? Let me go!” Taemin tried to push him away but the man had placed both his arms around his waist, pressing Taemin’s body close to his body.

                “In the past, everything that Minho wanted, I just wanted to rip it out of his hands. This time it’s not different, you’re just a toy for the both of us, I will take you away from him” the man grinned as he dragged Taemin out of the banquet hall and into an empty storage room.

                “Let me go! Minho’s going to find me and then you’re going to get hurt! Why are you doing this?!” Taemin tried to run away but the man blocked the doorway.

                “I’ve been competitors with Minho for more than 10 years already, whatever I like, and he would always steal it from me. This time, I’m going to take something precious of his, like he did to me. It’s going to be no different, after he’s done with you, he would throw you away and go on to his next target. That’s what he did to my girlfriend! He stole her away from me and then dumped her after he won her heart, I can’t believe you’re so gullible that he would actually fall in love with you” the man smirked as he walked closer and closer to Taemin until Taemin’s back hit the back wall.

                “You’re lying, Minho loves me, and he wouldn’t do this to me! He promised me that he would be with me forever and after, you’re wrong!” Taemin slipped to the floor as he wrapped his arms around himself and cried.

                “There’s no point in crying for him, he was a cruel, heartless bastard! I doubt he would change just for one person” the man kneeled down and cupped Taemin’s face. He gently wiped his tears away and started to lean closer to Taemin until their faces were just inches apart. Just when the man wanted to close the gap, Taemin pushed him away and got up from the floor.

                “I know Minho loves me, he wouldn’t do this to me” Taemin ran to the door but before he was able to reach for the handle, he felt someone grab his arm and pull him backwards.

                “You’re pretty feisty, I like that. However, I’m not lying when I say that he’s a cold, heartless bastard. I don’t even know why you would marry him in the first place” the man scoffed as he started grinding himself on Taemin, rubbing their against each other. Taemin tried to stop him but his arms were pressed against the door, there was only one thing left to do.

                “AHHH!!! ing!” the man fell backwards after Taemin had kneed him in , making him bend over in pain. Taemin took this chance to run out the storage room and run back into the banquet hall and tried to look for Minho.

                “Minho...Minho...where are you...you promised...you...promised...” Taemin continued to look back and forth but he wasn’t able to find him anywhere. Carelessly, Taemin stumbled around and he ended up knocking into a server, spilling wine and champagne onto his body.

                “Oh my god! Sir, I’m so sorry, are you all right?” Taemin nodded as he stood up and tried to wipe the wine off of him.

                “Who is he...did he sneak in...I’ve never seen him before...such people shouldn’t be allowed in here” whispers were heard all over and Taemin started to feel himself get teary. Taemin was about to run out when he felt someone stand in front of him, it was a man that he had never seen before, very soon, Taemin found himself in a room and with new, clean clothes in front of him. Taemin looked around and saw that it was just him and there were no cameras so he slowly took off his clothes and changed into the clothes.

                “Minho, are you ready for your speech? This ball was made for you, where’s the lovely wife that we’ve all been hearing about?” Minho looked around, ever since he went to get drinks, Taemin had disappeared. Minho was starting to get worried, he had broken his promise towards Taemin, and he had left him alone.

                “Mr. Choi, it’s time for you go up and do your speech, we’ll help you find Mr. Choi” Minho’s guard led Minho up the stage.

                Taemin had finished changing and had stepped out of the room when the man led him somewhere; Taemin slowly walked and realized that they were heading towards the stage. Taemin looked towards the stage and saw that he was giving a speech. He looked so handsome and charismatic standing up there, Taemin couldn’t help but stare, but his trance was broken when he felt the man gently push him up the stairs and told him to wait there.

                “...and through all of the hard work and suffering, there was one person that was beside me this whole time. Let me introduce you to my wife” Minho proudly announced and smiled as he saw Taemin standing on the edge of the stage.

                “She must be very pretty...and rich...unlike the boy that we saw stumbling around...” the whispers were starting again and Taemin was getting nervous, but as soon as he saw Minho’s smile, he felt a something pulling Taemin towards him as his legs started moving across the stage. Murmurs were heard when they realized that Minho’s wife was a man and it was the boy they were bad-mouthing about. Taemin finally reached Minho and he looked out into the crowd, he had never known that people could be so fake as they were all smiling at him as if they had known him all their lives and were his best friends. However, one person stood out as he waved and smiled at Taemin and Minho. Taemin smiled and waved back, he must’ve been the one who helped him through all the trouble and was able to help him get back to Minho’s side.
