Narrator

“I start to resent being home.” Minyoung murmured as she went in the house. Tao chuckled behind her.

“You should~”

“Tao gege!”

Minyoung winced at the sharp girly voice.

Kris was standing behind Yilin, looking uncomfortable.

The suddenly, a flying star appeared out of nowhere, Minyoung pulled Tao down with her.

Tao blinked at the sharp metal star that was now embedded on the wall.

Minyoung stood up and looked at Yilin.

“I took lessons when I was a kid, that’s similar to martial arts right? Though I don’t think I can spar with you yet.” Yilin nodded.

Minyoung smiled and got the star from the wall and tossed it Tao.

“I’ll leave you two here.” Kris nodded as he followed Minyoung.

Junhee’s POV

I arrived home and found Tao with Yilin in the living room. I smiled.

I wonder how this girl can make Tao like her.

I made my way up to my room, then I saw Lay sitting on the veranda.

I havent talked to him for a while. I wonder if he’s doing okay.

“Lay?” I called out as I pushed the glass door. His eyes widened a little as I sat beside him.

“Oh, is something up?” He asked.

“Do I go to you because something is up?” I chuckled. He nodded.

“You’ve been busy lately, but what happened last night?”

“I had…a few drinks.”

“Drinks or dates?” I looked at him.

Narrator

Lay turned to Junhee.

“It’s not dates, it’s drinks.” He said firmly. Junhee nodded meekly.

“How…did…that…person with the note..go? Meeting him.”

Junhee sighed.

“Well, it..didnt go well, it was awkward, then….I feel like I cant face him.”

Lay looked at her.

“Didn’t go well?”

Junhee nodded.

“I..dont feel like talking about it, but..I hope we can be friends, that person.” Junhee smiled and she stood up.

“I’ll see you at the dining table.” She said.

Lay could only nod.

“Ah, right, Yilin’s here, you might want to…bring ear plugs or something.”

As soon as she left, a small smile formed on Lay’s lips.
