After the meal, Kai and his mom left. The Jiangs went down.

“We’ll be going ahead, Junhee you ride with them.” Mingfan waved as she followed her father.

“I still can’t believe mei left.” Tao grumbled as they headed for the car park.

“She has a graduation party, Zitao.” Luhan reasoned. Then he glanced behind him, Lay and Junhee were talking.

“Did you two talk already?” Luhan asked his cousin.

“It’s..better now.” Kris nodded.

“How better?” He asked as he opened the passenger seat.

“Junhee~”

“Get in~”

Kris looked at Lay and at his cousin, both of them had their passenger door open. Tao’s black Ferrari already left.

He sighed, then he walked towards Junhee and took her by the arm.

“She’s riding with me.” He announced then he opened the car door for her.

Minyoung’s POV

I walked through the front door and found Lay ge by the mini bar.

“Ge?” I asked as I took the seat beside him.

“I’m sorry, I was harsh earlier.”

I nodded.

“I understand. But honestly, I didn’t drink at the party, Myungsoo prevented me.”

“That’s nice of him.”

I chuckled.

“I waited for you here.”

“Wae? If its not to reprimand me~”

“Aniya, I’m asking for your permission.”

I blinked.

“Yunxu ma(Permission)?”

“Shi(Right).”

I leaned over and grabbed a piece of fruit.

“On what?” I asked.

“I’m asking for permission to court your cousin.”

I almost choked on my slice mango.

I looked at his face, Lay ge was serious.

“You like her.” I stated. He nodded.

“Then, there’s nothing I can do about that, ge. You need not to ask for permission.”

“Even though you know how I am?” He looked up.

“I know how you are, you’ve been waiting for that special girl. Go ahead.” I smiled.

Narrator’s POV

“You’re starting work today, mei!” Tao grinned as he walked in the room with a box with him.

Luhan looked up from his breakfast.

“I kind of get the idea, ge.” Minyoung blinked at him.

“You have to wear my gift to work!”

He placed the gift on her lap. Minyoung opened it and found a pair of heel less pumps.

Luhan chuckled.

“Normal shoes are overrated, where this.” He beamed.

“It would lessen your height insecurities.” Lay nodded. Junhee chuckled.

Minyoung flicked a piece of carrot at the unicorn. Kris laughed.

“I think Tao’s right, mei.” Kris added.

“Oh my god, not you too.”

“This is your office.” Kris nodded as they stepped in a brightly lit room, most of the interior were white. There srood a semi empty bookshelf.

Minyoung looked at her desk. There was a photo of her and her four geges on the table. She chuckled.

“I take that as Tao ge’s idea?” She asked. Kris nodded.

“We have to take on with Junhee in it.” He said.

“We should.” She nodded.

“Then, I’ll go ahead~”

“Ge, wait.” Minyoung dropped her bag on the couch.

“About…the car, thanks, ge.”

Kris just smiled and patted her cheek.

“Let’s have lunch together, arasso?” She smiled. Kris nodded.

“I’ll call you.” He said before leaving.
