Narrator’s POV

Minyoung saw Kris arrive, she watched as the black Maserati pulled over. Then Kris alighted from the vehicle. She saw Chaerin run out of the front door to greet him.

Minyoung’s grip on the velvet drapes tightened.

“Liar.” She hissed as she shut the curtains.

“So you’re saying that your family has been infiltrated?” Myungsoo asked.

He was lying down on his back on her bed while playing with his phone.

“Yeah.” She replied tersely as she sat beside him.

“And I’m here because……” Myungsoo looked at he questioningly.

“Because I need you to teach me how to be stoic and not kill her.” She pushed him a little and lay down.

“I don’t get you.”

“I want to kill her.”

Myungsoo whistled lowly.

“All these years I knew you, honestly, I don’t want to meet your angry side.”

Minyoung shook her head.

“Will you stay for dinner?” She asked.

“Of course, eomma and appa aren’t at home. Don’t want to eat alone, besides, I wanna see you blow.”

“No.” Luhan said, he was standing by the doorframe. Myungsoo chuckled.

“We all know she’s just as pretty as her temper, right Myungsoo?”

Minyoung rolled her eyes and sat up.

“Where’s the old hag?” She asked. Luhan blinked at her.

“Her aunt, mother….whatever you call it.”

“Maybe she should stay over at your house for two days.” Luhan looked at L.

“No siree, I don’t want to deal with her in that mood.”

Minyoung crossed her legs.

“But the party, it must never happen, agung must not announce her as….granddaugther.”

“Right. That’s why you’re coming with me tomorrow at the shop?”

“Shenme?!”

“You talk to her, tell her everything.” Luhan explained.

“But ge, I don’t have your charming skills~”

“Oh, annyeonghaseyo!”

Myungsoo narrowed his eyes at the unknown male who just entered the room.

“Who are you?” Minyoung’s tone came rude. Luhan gripped her shoulder as if to calm her.

“Oh, I’m Seungjae, Chaerin’s older cousin.”

Minyoung stood up.

“I’m sorry but we’re having a private conversation, and I would be really pleased if you get ou~”

“Okay. So, Minyoung, you said you’d show me the new…addition to your dojo?” L stood up.

Luhan’s POV

“Who’s that?” Tao asked as they joined us in by the poolside, agung had arranged for the Gus to come and talk about the engagement.

“Chaerin’s…cousin.” I nodded. I saw Tao roll his eyes.

“Oh, Kris, come here. Greet Chaerin’s cousi~” Sekyung started.

“Where’s Minyoung?” He asked.

I saw her balk. Chaerin looked at Kris.

“At the dojo. She’s with L.”

Lay strolled in, then he looked at the guy.

“Lay this is Seungjae, he’s my cousin.”

“Oh, hey.” He nodded.

I saw Chaerin and her brother exchange looks.

“I’ve always seen you guys on tv, it’s really a pleasure to see all of you together.” Seungjae blabbered.

“Kim Myungsoo, my phone! You idiot!”

Narrator’s POV

Kris turned as he saw Minyoung walking after Myungsoo. L was chuckling to himself, on his other hand was Minyoung’s phone.

“Wow, she’s hot.” Suengjae said.

Kris’ gaze snapped at him.

“I’ll get her….a cardigan.” Lay stood up noticing the way Seungjae stared at her legs.

“You should.” Luhan muttered.

“Mei, put your sword down.” Tao said as he saw their guest’s reaction.

“Oh.” Minyoung blinked and placed it on the table. Myungsoo handed her phone back.

“Nice of you….to bring her here….Myungsoo.” Luhan gave him a look.

Kris looked at the two.

“Minyoung-ah, this is Seungjae, my son.” Sekyung stood up as well as Seungjae, he offered his hand.

Minyoung looked at her with pursed lips.

“I have enough male friends.” She said with a tight smile and sat beside L.

Kris blinked at her reply.

“Besides, I don’t see the point of even getting along~”

“Would you like some tea?” Luhan interjected. Myungsoo chuckled in his seat.
