Yixing got out of his bed rather late the next morning. He was thankful that Nana had given him another day off to visit his mother. He really didn’t want to let her see the commercial and mistake it for anything else that it wasn’t. Though she was fully aware of where he worked and what he did, he could tell she wouldn’t be too proud of him being featured in a commercial showcasing that he basically sold his body willingly for money, no matter how renowned the establishment was.   The thing that was bothering him slightly more, was Tao.   He was thankful that the boy had jumped in when Nana was telling him he couldn’t go home, but he felt it wasn’t needed. He didn’t like that Tao had said that much, but the boy still refused to meet his mother. Every time he would ask him in the past, Tao would say no. And now to make matters worse, he was hanging with the equally broken Jongdae.   He was glad Jongdae had someone to lean on, but he just didn’t like the fact that he chose Tao of all people. A boy who couldn’t even fix his own problems.   Yixing didn’t know who he was to be thinking such thoughts, but he simply didn’t like it.   He wanted to help Tao initially and he came to the conclusion that he probably never could. Now it seemed Tao wanted to help Jongdae, but it will only be a matter of time before he realizeed that he never truly will be able to help him.   Yixing sat up in bed, running his fingers through his strands of hair along his forehead. He had already missed the time to send his siblings off to school, it was already late morning. But he still had one more sibling he felt he had to deal with and today, that sibling would meet his mother whether he wanted to or not.   Getting out of bed, he made his way to Tao’s room that was nearest his. It was dark within the windowless room, and light snores could be heard from the bed located within the corner. He tipped toed over and poked at the motionless frame that was half under the covers as his bottom half was exposed.   “Tao!” Yixing loudly whispered.   “Tao Tao! Wake up!” he poked again.   The younger man groaned as he turned over in the bed, trying to ignore the irritating pokes he was receiving, “Leave me alone YiYi gege.”   “No, wake up, I want to spend time with you today,” the older whispered. “Come, let’s get up and get dressed. We have things to do.”   “Things like what?” the younger cracked his eyes open, interest peaked at Yixing’s vague words.   “I will tell you once we have left,” Yixing answered, leaving the room, knowing Tao would follow.     ~~~~~~~~~~~     Xiumin sat at the table in the small kitchenette sipping on his orange juice. Kris sat next to him, blowing  down the steam that came from his hot coffee. Neither of them said a word but Kris could tell Xiumin was aching to say something to anyone but he was the only one present at the time.   “Your fidgeting is irritating, Xiumin,” Kris mumbled.   “Well sorry, you can go die in a hole for all I care,” the boy snapped before widening his eyes and snapping a hand over his loose mouth.   Kris, who was equally shocked , only glared in return.   “I am so sorry! I have been hanging with Luhan too much! I didn’t mean that, I am just stressed,” Xiumin quickly apologized.   “Yeah…right,” Kris answered, sipping his coffee.   “Look, I am just really nervous about school. I know I got today off, but what about tomorrow? What will people think?”   “Why do you care what people think? Do they determine who you are as a person?”    “No, they don’t, the dean does! He can get rid of me for being a e who gets paid in his university! My school isn’t public, the citizens dollars do not fund the university! He can put me out at any opportunity if those good for nothing students start to make a big deal out of my job!” Xiumin ranted.   “How did you even get accepted into such a school?” the skepticism was apparent in Kris’s voice.   “Are you saying I am not smart?” Xiumin challenged. “I am very smart, and I got in on a literature piece I wrote to win a grant that would take me through the first two years of schooling. I was hoping that I would find something that would allow me to stay in,” Xiumin started to mumble.   “Well you did, you found your body. Now use it , make money, and pay your fees.”   “Wow, Kris you give the best advice! It’s seriously competing with Luhan’s advice!” Xiumin sarcastically replied with two thumbs up.   Kris just snorted in reply, suddenly distracted with a darkly dressed Tao plopping in the seat across from him. The young boy simply glared before greeting Xiumin a good morning. There was his pride again, the same pride he talked to Jaejoong about. It was his own fault that Tao had an attitude with him, he couldn’t fault the boy for it, all he could do was try and change it.   But his pride, it was so strong and nearly overwhelming.   Swallowing back his need to return the glare being given to him, he smiled, “Good morning Tao, I hope you slept well.”   The sound of glass breaking in the kitchen snapped all of the boys out of their trance, heads turning to look at the shocked Yixing who was staring at the shattered plate laying by his feet.   “Yixing, don’t move, you might cut yourself!” Tao moved to the broom to sweep the offending glass from around Yixing’s bare feet.   “Why did you drop the plate?” Xiumin asked.   Yixing looked at Kris who was simply looking at Tao move around with the broom, a slight scowl on his face.     “Kris just shocked me,” he mumbled.   “Right, it’s your fault Kris!” Tao snarled, stooping to pick up the broken shards into the dust pan. “You can move gege. Go and put on shoes, please,” the younger begged, lighting his voice.   “Tao, I was just being polite,” Kris stated standing up.   “Yeah? Well I don’t need your politeness, why don’t you go talk to Jongdae, huh?”   The blonde’s nose flared at Tao’s words, remembering ju

Chapter 29: Aaaw Lyn and Jongdae, I think they're "progressing" on becoming closer..
And the more further I get in this story, the more I realize/think Nana is so selfish and vain. She may be fare when it come to salaries, but at the end it's just all about her..
